Yep, had to sell my Air, and now my Solo will be put to sleep. I didn't realize just how important airflow is to my experience. I hate struggling to get big massive hits by "sipping", etc. but the Mighty allows me to hit it how I like it!

We smoked maybe 6 or more joints a day and surf at least 8 hours a day!

Did you really surfing while you were high? That sounds very really difficult.
Maybe you wait a little while like after eating don't go swimming?

I get ripped with the Mighty before I play hockey. It's awesome fun.

If somebody from another country buys a mighty from a Aus online retailer do they still get the battery replacement protection???
I'll contact Fair Trading again for you and ask. Takes a few weeks as they respond by snail mail so that I get it in writing.

I just found out that Vapornation offer a LIFETIME warranty on the Mighty for $50.

http://vapornation.com/mighty-vaporizer.html

Does anyone have any experience with Vapornation and their lifetime warranties?

reenforced fins and top housing started somewhere at #16000

funny thing, I bought my #149xx half a year ago and my headshop still has the same #149xx ones in the shelf. For a nearly 2 million people city, I'm wondering how little people know about this beast and therefore not buy it. Everytime I'm in the store I teach people about good/bad vapes and vaping in general. It's pretty convenient, they placed the shelf with the vapes before the entrance to the actually headshop so everyone just getting papers or a bong need to go past this thing and wonder "are these e-cigs?" - while looking at two canos.

Hey guys, after much research I'm very close to pulling the trigger on the mighty. I know at some point ill have to get the unit fixed, and I'm wondering if there is any advantage to buying direct from Storz n Bickel vs buying from my local head shop. I'm also wondering if anyone knows the 2015 serial numbers. The one i looked at locally is my023xxx and I have a feeling its an original 2014 model. If it is an original model, should I avoid buying it? I apologize if this has been covered, I read this entire thread over the past year but due to a significant brain injury i am unable to recall every detail or spend much time online. Any other advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Just my opinion, but I actually believe the 2014 model, original outer shell and one minute auto shut-off, is a better machine. The temperature control is much more accurate, does not heat beyond the set-point like newer model, and definitely provides longer use between recharges. The Mighty is a good vaporizer, just know if you have a battery problem it is going to cost you at least $80.00 (probably $90.00 if they charge you for labor) to have S&B replace them; and I do not know of anybody replacing the batteries themselves, though I am seriously considering opening mine up and giving it a go. A good vaporizer seriously over-priced, not so much better than other top level vaporizers to justify price.

I thought this was a myth? The batteries are the same, the software tweaked, but overall runtime has been confirmed to be the same.

Respect your opinion, and shared it at one time.... now I wish it were cheaper, but there is nothing better for me (have had most of the top level vapes) which is why I justify the price. I'm just happy that this product even exists, and getting the Crafty to join it!

I haven't timed it, but my newer model appears to run about the same on a full charge as my older unit. Overall I think it's slightly better....seems to heat to temp a little bit faster, overshoots only a degree or two (which helps maintain the target temp while you're sucking heat out of the thing), and I prefer the two minute shut off. But they are almost identical, for the most part.

At the original 500 bucks, the thing is way overpriced. At the current 400...it's still overpriced IMO. I think if you can get it near-ish 300 it's a fair deal in the generally overpriced world of vapes. As for comparisons to other leading vapes....I just don't see it. It works in a way that is so unique, between the unfettered draw, the cool, tasty vapor, the complete extraction without stirring, the full extraction at lower temps, zero learning curve for even the most inexperienced users. I can almost understand their original aggressive pricing...they probably thought they had lightning in a bottle. To me, they absolutely did. But 500 bucks is still way outta line.:p

The way I see it....I have purchased a ton of vapes between $200-$300, none of which are still in use today. I have had the mighty since Oct 2014 and I never hesitate to grab it when I need to medicate, so I think the extra $$$ is worth it.
I paid the OG price of $460+ and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Hello Folks
This is my new purchase, it's called Easy Flow. The plastic piece fits quiet well the female mouthpiece. You just need to use it a few times to fit it perfectly...

What sort of glass piece do you have in the last pic? I'm looking for that type of set up but not familiar with the terms for glass pieces.

Thanks

then a filling chamber full of old reclaim q-tips - which I wanted to throw away basically, don't know where that cloud came from - , Whew.

Am I understanding right? You put the Q-tip end/s that has wiped the CU clean into the oven and vape it?
If so, do you rip the cotton off the plastic?

Do others use this method? I've had my vape a week and have only done small cleans. I want to wait for a larger clean and save the reclaim but not sure what the best/easiest method is.

Thanks

Yeah, I rip it off
Some part of it stays on the end. I achieved all of my sunday highness through revaping old q-tips and reclaiming them again. It is for free. My CU is clean because I reclaimed heavily the last days. I never used ISO

uhranium,

peterpiper

(peter-ex-piper)
Soak the whole thing in ISO then filter through coffee filter and evaporate on a plate then scrape up with razer blade
Lovely reclaim
You can then add to liquid pad or dab another way
I use the hammer pro
When I open my cu it's like opening a pot of honey

I agree! The original battery lasted longer and the temp did not go way past setting like the new one.

Well said, and you're right - it is lightning in a bottle! Wasn't the OG price $469 though? I paid $399cdn when it was first released, but then they hiked the prices here in Canada to $469, and now they are like $510!

You state that the Mighty is a fair deal in the world of vapes for near-ish $300? Well, I paid $335 for mine (not including shipping) from a very well respected supporting retailer, and many other FC members have paid the exact same as me. I would be happier if it was sub $300, but damn your writeup there about all the pros of the Mighty have me really seriously thinking about buying a 2nd one now!

I so can't wait to compare this new Mighty to my OG and write a review! Too many inconsistencies i'm reading about, or some people are getting bad batteries?? I just don't get it!?

EDIT: OUT FOR DELIVERY! And I also get my new Herbalaire Elite today too! FESTIVUS has arrive early!

I paid 320 for my recent one, and it's a steal at that amount. I stand corrected on the original price. Very nice to hear from folks who still think it was worth it at that price. Says a lot for the Mighty.

Glad too see that my next Mighty won't come as dear as the current.

While you're on the subject,
Started with a Crafty at the original $399 US.
After a warranty exchange (#2 arrived), next came the need for new battery at $50. (#3 arrived)
When that Crafty gave out, I upgraded to Mighty for a $60 fee.
Along the way, add in wear and tear kit, o-rings and seals and screens and

yadda, yadda, yadda,
I'm in about $560 for the great pleasure (no, really!) of 10 months' use of the parade of devices.

You just completely re-crippled my confidence in the Crafty. Don't care too much about having to use the warranty when needed, but i'm just so apprehensive about that crappy battery. My crafty at 35hrs was nowhere near when it was new for battery performance, and I actually took care of it. 3 min warmups blow for a stealthy portable. Probably should just get a 2nd mighty instead like I did before.

If you do plan on getting a Crafty, I highly suggest you use it lightly or you'll be severely disappointed. If you do not want to be disappointed at all, just get another Mighty! :D

I just asked on the Crafty thread, but I thought I'd ask here too.

Can someone describe or send me a link for the "firm" q-tips people have talked about using to clean the cu? Thx!

Ahhhhhhh...... sooooo nice to be back in MightyLand!!! Serial 23XXX, would have thought it would have been 30XXX+ since it was new stock PIU just received.

Looks like in the end i'll be getting the Crafty to join it. It will be more for my wife that vapes at 165 or less and extremely casually so between that and my odd time high temp usage, i'm hoping it will average out to last a respectable amount of time. And if not, oh well send it in and get a new Crafty for the price of shipping? I can live with that.

Hey guys, im now a proud owner of the mighty vaporizer! Upon first inspection it appears to be extremely well built, and I feel that it fits very comfortably in my hand - not too big at all. I do notice a plastic smell when heating the unit up, but this is the case with every portable vape I've owned and I'm sure it will promptly disappear with a few hours of use - I'll be sure to update on that in a few days. My unit is a new 23xxx. Cant wait to try this beast out tonight and I'll be back with an update soon, cheers.
