I am wondering if there are some emission from the silicon used for the mudmozz? How long does the glass last before detaching from the plastic base?
........................................................

Silicone is very inert, once cured. Plus, the silicone bead is on the OUTSIDE rim of the glass.

I think the original muzmods are still kickin out the vapor. However, if they ever do separate it's an easy 5 minute fix, and then wait a couple days to make sure it's fully cured.

That just happened...
The way I make them the adhesive doesn't get hot. It doesn't off gas any more then other random stuff you might share a space with. It doesn't come detached. The original which has been used and abused thousands of times still works great.

The muzmod is seriously good, I recently made another one with a coloured glass adapter & it looks great. I've used my old one for months it's still solid as, doubled the vapor output & stopped my unreinforced sides from warping.
On another note, I say good on Vapefiend for selling something everyone was asking for. Just noticed Australian Vaporizers also have the glass water adapters 14 & 18mm for like 29 bucks. Has to be a good buy you can barely make your own for that price.
Ratchett said that the Vapefiend glass adapters are sold very cheaply on Chinese sites if you want to have a look for a cheapy.

I received my vapefiend glass adapter. It is "ok" but not great. To get it to work you must use the cut screen over the bowl method. I'll post pics and a full review soon.

As has been suggested prior, I would remove the stock screen on the "vapefiend easyflow glass adapter" and use a oil pad in its place.

The oil pad sits perfectly flush and will keep the load in place (so that you don't have to use aa cut screen to tamp it down).

I'll post some photos once I get home.

Hey Mighty users! I was watching the Crafty teardown video (
)

So the battery is just a rather typical 18650 that is soldered directly to the unit. I'm not a wiz with electronics although I sort of have an understanding, wondering why someone with a little knowhow couldn't just replace the battery themselves (if the batteries go bad, I mean). This would probably be a lot less than whatever S&B charges I'm assuming.

I wanna see the insides of the Mighty, given that it is larger perhaps it even has enough room to, I dunno, replace the soldered battery idea with more typical terminals that you can just place new batteries into. Am I crazy? Has this question been asked?

My review of the Easyflow brand glass adapter (GonG).

I have to say, initially, I was less than impressed with the unit due to it's build quality. Let's face it, it's a cheap glass peice and a plastic sleeve.

It doesn't really seem to fit on perfectly, e.g. you can't twist it on all the way like you can a normal cooling unit.
I turn mine till it gets enough resistance and then stop. If you over tighten it you WILL damage your crafty housing as has been mentioned in this thread, thanks for the warning).

I tried it with the stock screen (as it arrives) and it seemed to work. Later I realised there was a huge gap between the screen and where it meets on the crafty heating chamber.
So I put an oil pad in place of the stock screen and by golly eureka!!!
Seems to work better in my opinion.

It also makes it sit perfectly flush with no gap! It also has a lip for the stock screen, which also prevents the oil pad from going to far down the GonG. It's like it was meant to house it!
No more air gap for the material to fly around!

The oil pad does add some minor draw resistance. But in my opinion it performs better with the oil pad.

^^notice with the oil pad it sits flush

^^^The point at which I have to stop twisting, before it noticably puts strain on the crafty housing.
It doesn't fit that well and you don't get a click for some reason on mine (poor tolerances/QC from the manufacturer?)

I don't think it's worth the high price tag, as it was obviously cheaply made and not an elegant solution.
.... But it does perform well, and is a great solution if you can't be arsed with making your own muzzmod
(and can deal with being robbed for something that obviously cost them mere $$$).

To do this requires a lot more than a little know-how. This is extremely tricky soldering if you want to accomplish it without ruining either the battery or the board or probably both.

you could also extend the soldering tabs with a cable and add a connector...or just longer tabs/cable......if there is some room for it.
how easier would replacing a battery be after this mod?....

If you watch the Crafty video there is no extra room unfortunately. The Mighty is the same except there are 2 batteries

Hmm although... I just took a quick look at my Mighty and I don't see any exposed screw holes. In the Crafty the battery is sandwiched by a screw hole, perhaps the Mighry doesn't have the same issue and we can mod it for replaceable batteries, however I'm not gonna void my warranty to find out!

Any braver souls care to take pics of the Mighty's insides?

The eagle, she has landed. So what is everyone's favorite starting temp?

I start at 180, then go up in 5 degree steps as needed.

On occasion I start a fresh bowl at 210 degrees and take long, slow, deep draws .... better than burning a jay!
I'm new to the Mighty, but been vaping since about 2008.

Looking for the best way to connect the Mighty to my 14mm RooR mini-bubbler.

Happy Monday!

Well, it took about 20 different iterations, but I'm happy to announce that I've finished my
Mighty Mini Stand

Finally, a safe way to hold your vaporizer upright while loading!

I know someone will want a bigger version with slots to hold other accessories, but I'm not quite sure what to make. If you would like to help me sketch some ideas for a larger stand, please feel free to PM me!

Additionally I'm still working on the Mighty CU-Mod SonG, it's coming along nicely. Unfortunately printing Silicone molds is a bit of a PITA currently, but I'm working as fast as I can on the Mighty accessories.

If anyone has any other requests for Mighty accessories, please PM me soon, I'm planning to return the Mighty to it's owner sometime in October and I'd like to finalize any designs before then.

Just placed my online order a couple of hours ago! Evening of 18 Oct.

Trying to get the most out of this vape by understanding terpenes extraction points of different strains. I was starting at 180 then bump to 190 and finish at 200, but this graph shows certain strains with terpense extraction at 160 and others at 200c, so its hard to figure perfect heat extraction point. Here is graph and article if any fellow vapors was to check it out.

I would argue that there is no perfect extraction temperature—for anything. You just need to get close. First, you are not dealing with binary release points. The boiling point is just the temperature at which 100% vapourization happens, but there is always vapour produced at lower temperatures, just in lower percentages. Second, the compounds exist in a matrix, which affects both the boiling point and the effects. Third, even for the same strain, variations in growing, harvesting, and curing will result in variations in the compounds produced. Finally, everyone reacts differently. The perfect temperature for you for this harvest of this strain won't be my perfect temperature.

You can use graphs like this to find the ballpark. After that, it's all about experimenting to find what works for you.

Edit: If anyone wants to continue along this line, I copied this post and moved a follow-up question to the thread Vaporization temperature dependent selection of effects.

I just received my Crafty/Mighty Easy Flow 18mm Adaptor from Australian Vaporizers and I am mostly happy with it after using it for a day. I always used the spare cu screen to squash down the load method anyway (you have to do this or use an oil pad with this gong), as it works just as well as the oil pad at producing large clouds, but has far more flexibility as far as load size goes plus is quicker to clean/dry the screens than the oil pad (also no need to cut the screen, as I just use a sewing needle to pull it back out of the bowl easily).

My only gripes are that it doesn't fit as well as it could and they really NEED to include a warning to everyone not to screw it on all the way as you will damage your unit.

Being an all glass path as the plastic piece is only to hold the glass adapter tight against the bowl, the taste is so much better than with the cooling unit and the airflow is like night and day compared to using the CU attached to an adapter. I can now use my mighty with my D020-D bubbler one handed and most importantly it gets me noticeably more vaked!! All that sticky THC/CBD goodness that the CU was catching is now being absorbed into my blood stream :) along with easier airflow makes for bigger hits. It will be far easier and less hassle to clean and maintain than the CUs.

I am still looking forward to what ratchett comes up with, as there is no doubt a much better way for it to attach to your mighty \crafty unit.

As Thcgos said above regarding he doesn't get the click when installing it, I don't either. I also agree with you that it does not fit the unit as well as it could, hence it took me a few goes before getting the nack of installing it properly, though it does fit tight+airtight from what I can see. I'm not sure it is suppose to click as it is not meant to be screwed all the way around. I like your idea with using the oil pad instead of the screen inside the glass adapter itself, as I usually don't use a screen to tamp down when packing full bowls - Thanks Thcgos I shall try this shortly

All in all I am very happy with my purchase, it may not be a perfect design, but it's easy to fit after a couple of goes and it works very well, has an all glass vapor path, it looks nice on my mighty and really at $29.95 it's not exactly expensive. I certainly won't be using my cu's anytime soon.

Hands down the best way to use the Mighty is with the easy flow 18mm adapter and a D020D bubbler - pop out the screen in the adapter so it is just a straight glass air path and tamp every load down tight with a spare CU screen or the screen that you just popped out of the easy flow adapter (use a sewing needle to pop the screen back out when re-packing). You can put any amount of herb you want into the bowl and it will vape perfectly/evenly producing thick clouds. It's taken my mighty to a whole new level again. airflow is like night and day since its just a straight glass vapor path with only one screen, MUCH better taste which doesn't degrade quickly over time due to build up like CU's do, more THC hitting your lungs, and no more dicking about tearing down and cleaning CU's, oil pads etc.

Dhgate 1 or 2 dollars shipped (or 4, don't remember but very cheap. Just look for a single set as many offers are for 1k units).

So I just got my car charger in the mail (the one that is red on the end) and went to test it out and found that every 1 to 3 minutes the unit would vibrate and the lights on the screen would all turn on like it had just been plugged in but then the unit goes right back to displaying temperature. Faulty cord or something with my car? Anyone else had this problem? My friend is coming over tomorrow and i'm going to test it on his car but I don't want to use it to much if it is faulty. Thoughts?
