I need to do a hot iso clean and thorough scrubbing, so far I've only just scraped it clean with a dabber, and while it definitely improves it, I really do need to fully clean it out.
A few weeks back, I posted about how I thought my CU was leaking and there was oil running along a top fin, but that I must have just dropped a piece of oil when loading it.....NOT the case!
I keep my Mighty in a Vatra sleeve, and usually just put it away when I'm done with it. Typically am using it on the couch, so sometimes I just stick it in the corner of the couch propped up vertically, other times I would lie it against the arm of the couch on its side, or just facedown/faceup. Or I stick it in a box where it is not lying 100% horizontal in either.
I wanted to try and see how long a Mighty's battery works, so I wanted to put it to task yesterday since it would be around 2 months for my unit. I got 7 bowls out of it, and still had one bar left, before I charged. That's a different story, but after bowl 3 or 4, I turned it off, took a few draws like I do normally to cool down the chamber a bit, and put it away.
I pulled it out later, and I have STICKY RESIN on the side of my actual unit, along the side of the cooling unit, up to the top of the cooling unit. What the fuck? I didn't use any BHO today. I follow the trail, and the cooling row on the CU that was all rez'd up, is right in line with the mouthpiece. I look in the mouthpiece, and see a bunch of goop at the end of it, scraped it out and cleaned it.
Its obviously over-saturated and needs cleaning, but make sure you keep your Mighty's in a position where the mouthpiece won't be angled downward at all if your CU is getting a little gunked, as gravity will pull that reclaim right out and onto your baby.
