The Mighty Car Adapter is now available on the S&B website for $19.90, even though the Price List says it will be $24.9. Let me say something was wierd with the store software because my CA purchase was supposed to be taxed at 8.125%, and the receipt says as much, however when I did the math I found the actual tax applied to my purchase was only 6.56% of the grand total price(excluding tax). Maybe one of the items I picked up was not taxable? It was strange.
Wow, the S&B representative told me the car adapter would be available this week, and I was anticipating another roll-out delay, but here at the end of the day on the end of the week they got it available like they said they would.
Oh I figured out what's with the tax math discrepancy--the store software is erroneously not counting the cost of the adapter as taxable. I do believe by purchasing it sooner than later, there is $5 of savings available, unless S&B exerts their right to modify changes. But I already placed my order, and I don't think they're likely to argue about nickels and dimes.
