@elmomuzz My temp setting seems to stick to the setting it is at which is °Celcius.

Air-intake is somewhere under the tube u seee in the middle above the control panel. Invisible to the eye. Otherwise, where would the sensor be for auto shut off resetting u know? the whole tube acts as a heater. that is where that sensor is prolly located. and i dont think its a "sensor" more like mechanical aid. dunno thats my thought at least chime in if im wrong.

Edit: I did find the hole down there :)

Right now I'm undecided between this vape and the mini.

Other Minivap'ers have chimed in, so I will also. I don't own a Mighty, but my views are what I've gleaned so far from feedback.

My bullet views:

Mini
- Modular design. Part replacement cost are high. Eg: battery is $109
- Taste/smoothness top notch
- Versatile. With that I mean it's as easy to use with a WT as using it dry. Hooking it to a bubbler for an example is quick and easy.
- Four heat settings. More would be better, but it covers most's range of usage.
- Build quality
- Warranty
- Medicating. The strongest of the vapes I own by far.
- Pure convection. It truly is a bud miser
- Portability. Not so much on the go if any type of discretion is required. Definitely not pocketable.
- Battery life is almost 3 hours usage
- Cleanliness. For the most part, there is nothing to clean.
- Heat up time. Little long, but worth the wait.

Mighty
- Semi modular. Getting a replacement battery for an example will be a PIA
- From all accounts, the taste is right up there with the best from early reports.
- Great for dry usage. Not so much with water. That can be good/bad depending on intended usage.
- Like my Ascent, the plethora of heat settings is very appealing.
- Build quality
- Warranty
- Medicating. If it's on par or better than the mini.....we have a winner
- Portability. It's big, but appears pocketable. Again, if discretion is needed, forget about it
- Battery life seems awesome
- Cleanliness wise it seems to need upkeep
- Heat up time seems excellent
- Hybrid convection/conduction. Probably won't be the bud miser the mini is.

So has anyone worked out how to best connect this to a bubbler yet? I wanna see if this can be done and what results we might get!
Looks like a super easy fit for whip tubing and a gong.

I'd like to know how easily/steadily the Mighty stands upright on a flat surface. Thanks!

It doesn't stand up at all. I was thinking someone should design a silicone protective sleeve of some kind that covers around the unit, up to the removable cooling chamber. This would give it some protection from an accidental drop and also a nice non-slip grip for wintertime (and maybe even a flat bottom so it can stand up). I noticed when it's cool out and my hands are cold that it seems like a slippery sucker.:brow: Ok creators, get at it!

How about an angled retractable support prop built into the casing? Big oversight on this feature?

Maybe S & B thought of removing the risk of the Mighty
from toppling over when standing up . Where it could cause
some internal damage , in the long run . idk

You know how we can get after a few good vape
sessions .

Very possible, would be curious to know for sure from S&B. I'd wager you're on the money though.

Looking at the video review from Wizard Puff you can see the base of the Crafty is flat, and the Mighty is round. You can also see them stand the Crafty up on the table without issue.

It appears it was definitely a conscious decision. I am glad the Crafty can stand up though.

mod note: Wizard Puff link removed. Please don't link this outfit. They recruit spammers and are not welcome here.

Edit: Sorry, was just linking a video from YouTube (and not their direct site) and didn't realize there was a black list. Will not link to them again.

How often do you set your cell phone on a table standing on end? The Mighty is happy to lie flat on his side. :)
99% of the time my cell phone stands up on my desk so I can see the screen better and work with it more easily. The Mighty would do well to emulate the same for both safety and practicality, IMO.

Something like this can be adapted to the Mighty & Crafty until S&B gets on board with this necessary (IMO) modification.

First new discovery of the day, the Mighty is very efficient at extracting the goods. Filled the bowl, 5 big hits at 185c and the bowl is done. And best part, it finishes the bowl so quick I have yet to get the popcorn taste.

I just took the spent load, loaded it in my OG Cloud ticker and got practically zero vapor. So little that it was pointless to even try.

Day 2, 7 bowls in and I am still very impressed. Also happy to report that both screens still look brand new with no sign of debris or leftover ABV.

*Edit*

I also have a problem with some direct draw vapes where the mouthpiece gets too hot for my lips. IT can eventually lead to my lips peeling. Happy to report the Mighty cools the vapor so much that by the time it gets to the mouthpiece my lips do not feel any hint of heat.

Ok, I have never compared a desktop to a portable simply because I've always been under the impression that a portable cannot offer up the same experience as a desktop due to available power, but after reading the posts here as well as in the Crafty thread, I wonder if the introduction of these two vapes changes that paradigm.

So here's a question that I never thought I'd ask. Can the Mighty, or the Crafty for that matter, provide the same experience that I get from my LSV, that is, the ability to provide HUGE vapor clouds while at the same time, providing excellent taste due to it's mostly all glass air and vapor path along with the efficiency that occurs when I immediately remove my bud from the heat source between hits?

That last issue, in regards to efficiency (bud conservation), is what really turned me off to the Ascent.

I would say yes to the first two and no to the third IMO.

The size of the clouds and taste are definitely there for me but IMO there is no way to easily remove the bowl between hits to stop the minimal vapor loss. In between hits I do notice a small amount of vapor coming from the mouthpiece. I imagine there is a conduction effect similar to the solo as well because of the load sitting inside the bowl.

That's kind of a bummer. It's one of the main things that caused me to sell my Ascent (extra on-going smell and loss of efficiency).

MIGHTY KICKSTAND OPTION:

For everyone complaining about the Mighty not standing upright, fear not... I figured out a way! Remove that little orange toothpick looking stir tool from the bottom of the unit, rotate it 180 degrees, now stick it back in. Now you will see the other side of the lip extending past the perimeter. It will stand perfect now. I do it all the time and figured that was one of the pickers 'other' uses.

Another TIP I discovered for preserving bowls was to hit off the Mighty as usual. Then when I feel like I'm done but not totally done with the current bowl, I'll turn the unit off. Wait 20-30 seconds and then do one last long draw off the unit. This will cool the bowl down enough that there won't be any residual "cooking" of the material.
