I'm using Windows. When I "right click", I can choose an image in your message and see it. The 1st one returns an error. 2 & 3 are the same.

When you upload the image to Imgur, right click on the image and click "Open Image in a New Tab". Copy the link from that page and paste it into the "Image" button.

Always make sure the link you paste into {img][/img} ends with something like .jpg .gif .png etc and NOT .com .net etc.

how do you manage to reclaim? iso? or do you go in the cu and scrape that stuff? and with what haha?

Yep I like to use 99% ISO. I take the cu apart and soak everything (including o rings, I haven't had a problem doing it like this yet) for 1 hour. Clean out all the last bits of goo with a cotton bud while still wet. I'll reuse this ISO about three times to get a decent amount of good stuff in there. When it's brown enough pour into a flat Pyrex try and let it dry, a gentle fan over the top helps. When all the alcohol is gone scrape the oil up with a razor. It's good to have some cocktail sticks to help get it off the razor. Store in a glass uv container and you have some nice (but not great tasting) hash oil for dabbing.

You'll be surprised by how much you can get :)

I cleaned my cu the other day by soaking it in everclear. Let it evaporate and got this and another dab the same size.

I've got another 7/10 right now out of scooping small amounts of oil out of the CU. Free meds, great.

So i guess I should say hi first :) I've been lurking on FC for a couple months. You guys helped me pick the Mighty for my first vape and I love it! Thanks :)

Some people are talking about cleaning and reclaiming and I thought I'd add what I've been doing. First I ordered a few extra tops so that I only have to deal with cleaning them about once a month. I use one top per week and that seems just about right.

I fill a small dish (just big enough to soak a cooling unit) with ISO. I take apart the cooling units and then soak the first piece for about 5 minutes. When I remove the first piece to clean, i put in the next one to soak, and so on.

I pulled apart a couple cotton balls and rolled some little cotton balls (LCB) that are about 1/4" or a little bigger. I use the LCBs with a metal poker to clean the insides.

When everything is clean I place the LCBs (I have about 40 of them made) inside the alcohol bath and just soak it up. I then spread them out and let them dry. When I want to use that reclaim I just throw the dirtiest looking LCB into my chamber.

I also have a question regarding the liquid pad placement when you're using it for smaller bowls. Some here are saying top placement, but that seems wrong to me (I know I'm a newb). So if someone knows the reason why it goes on top I'd appreciate some insight.

you place it on top so that way the contents of the bowl dont get stuck in the mesh screen/or cooling unit.
plus i think it also heats the top of the weed aswell.

not sure if I've added these photos correctly? What do you guys make of this? Was out for a walk with my dog and the mighty! when I had an urge to take a couple of photos! What do you think. I'm baked and confused!

WOW! AWESOME PICS @I.b.vaping!

That looks seriously weird, but I think you could possibly have snagged a couple of shots of 'ball lightning', & a pretty big one too judging from the distance - v.cool indeed man!

But I'm pleased you weren't too close because ball lightning has been used to explain another phenomenon - spontaneous human combustion!

Can you imagine it? Talk about ironic! You're out for a vape . . . . & end up combusting!

Yep, you may feel invincible with man's best friend by your side and your Mighty in hand - but seriously brother, stay away from those lightning balls! :tinfoil:

Nice pics though

Have a Mighty fine weekend folks!

:peace:

just out of curiosity, how did you ruin it? Did it tear?

Yeah they edges kind of came apart, and started to like de-thread if that's even a word.

Still loving how clean my glass keeps with this vape...i've noticed comments in the VHW thread about the same thing, and no gross bong smell either so far. My LSV on the other hand was making my glass look like poo in just a few rips. I wonder if it has something to do with the vapour quality/particulate size? I'm not doing anything differently, other than weapon of choice.

I notice the same with my black leaf smoke shower! Still clean after quite a bit of use compared to my f bomb that I use with a volcano bag which is hanging after a few uses!

That's awesome! This is pretty huge....lack of condensing vapour on glass! Serious efficiency! At first I thought it was due to the warmer ambient air temp and temp of the glass, but pretty sure it's not that.

Does anyone have any pro tips for removing the bottom screen in the heating unit?
I have tried several different ways with no luck and the screen is in definite need of replacement.
To remove the lower sieve -sitting very tight in the clogged bowl- I just need the included picking tool. Works very easy and it doesn't destroy the meshes.
I just bend the sieve in a circle around the center pin until it has the same "donut"-shape of the bowl underneath. The sieve will fall out by itself since the "domed form" reduces the diameter quite a lot. Prevents the bowl from scratching, too. I think I saw this already somewhere here in the thread, too. Don't remember if it was in @WakeAndVape 's video demonstration of the cleaning process?
I use a slight "domed shape" to put back in the cleaned screens easily.

Just wanted to thank @Alan-partridge who suggested a cleaning of the bowl with hot water. Mine was really gunked! The metal ring was covered with resin, hard like rocks, even ISO couldn't dissolve the remains. It took 45 min but this is the result with water, heat and some rubbing:

it's because the heat comes from the bottom of the unit...if the oilpad was on the bottom; IT and not your herb would be absorbing most of the heat
@biohacker I clean my screens on a semi regular basis because they are so easy to remove and reinsert, thus was the video @Michel was talking about, I need to update it with some new tips
@Michel nice clean bowl...looks good, I JUST (10 minutes ago) cleaned mine with salt and iso, that took the stubborn stains off well too, I had to hold it upside down to make sure the salt didn't go into the heater holes, but I will make sure I try the hot water method first next time...sseems way healthier than getting small whiffs of evaporating iso on a warm bowl
and what's up with your o-rings? That's a color I haven't seen

I have a unit around 12.000. It came with the light blue o-rings already. The new o-ring around the bowl seems to be smaller than the dark blue one I had before on my first unit (2,000). Not sure about the thickness, but it changes the "click-feel" when snapping the CU in place (and prevents the housing from breaking hopefully).

Edit: I have a slightly different way to get out the sieve since I have no "hooks" or dabbing tools or anything like this. I simply bend it down into the bowl. The sieve has really a "donut shape" when coming out and I just flip the mighty upside down and it falls out by gravity. Sounds complicated, but it works. But @WakeAndVape 's method is easier and faster!

Never used salt for cleaning. I heard about this already but I forgot meanwhile. I'll remember this, thx! Hot water works sometimes better than ISO, but it was a pita and I had to rub really hard...

I agree, great review.

I as well have a Pax 2, and I now believe I have the perfect colleciton. For me, the Pax 2 has it's place as a stealthy on-the-go portable for concerts, public outings, etc... and the Mighty will be more appropriate for private settings like the house or car (I have tinted windows). And for those wondering, this Mighty is actually SMALLER than I imagined; think 1.2 inch thick Android phone.

As others have said, immediately I noticed the natural free flowing draw resistance, yet the vapor production was amazingly dense and smooth. Tasted great throughout the session and never noticed a popcorn taste, like I do with the Pax 2 (100% conduction vape).

My SN is 10xxx and yes, it does remember farenheit when turned off/on if you choose to switch the unit from Celsius. Also, 1 minute auto-shutoff so far has seemed to be restarted from the temperature drop produced by a normal draw, like it's programmed to do.

To go along with the vape, I purchased:

Ryot Packratz smellsafe case
http://www.amazon.com/RYOT-Packratz-Large-Gray/dp/B00POAD92W/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1429914576&sr=8-3&keywords=ryot+packratz

Doob tubes
http://www.amazon.com/Cute-Containers-Poppers-Prescription-Waterproof/dp/B00LBFWW04/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1429914612&sr=8-4&keywords=doob+tubes

Ryot case is awesomely compatible with the Mighty and the doob tubes are great to have in the case with pre-ground herb, ready to pour right into the oven. Boom.

So I've now had the Mighty vaporizer for a couple weeks and here's an update with random thoughts:

-After running at least 15 bowls through it and doing an iso cleaning, there is most definitely a plastic taste. My Pax 2 tastes better. Sorry.

-the 1 minute shut-off thing is awesome. A good draw will absolutely reset it and when using this for 3-4 person sessions... it never once shut off during rotation. And when it does shut off during a solo session because I'm taking longer than 1 minute to take another draw, it cools down very slowly, so it instantly heats up again when you press the power button.

-Pax 2 is superior for solo sessions if you're not going to blaze through in an entire oven in one sitting. Reason being is that the Mighty takes upwards of 15 minutes to get back down to room temperature, Pax 2 takes a couple minutes. So basically what I witnessed first hand was the Mighty bowls would continue to bake and become even more brown over the course of its 15 minute cool down.

-RYOT smell-safe bags are TOTALLY NOT SMELL-PROOF. I had the Mighty and grounded herbs inside the Ryot bag, sitting inside the center console in my car. My friend (who doesn't smoke marijuana) got in the car and was like "Wow, it smells like pot." Fuck that bag, I ended up getting a Pelican 1040 case. Those plastic cases with the rubber gasket and mason jar like closing device are amazingly smell-proof. I know this from experience because this is the amazingly smell-proof case I've had for the Pax 1 and Pax 2 over the years... it freaking rocks:
