I've had the BC-700 and it's operated flawlessly for over 3 years. The CH-9000 is also a great charger as is the BC-1000. I would stay away from the BC-900 in that there have been some reports of melt-downs.

This post , and question, really belongs in the Magic Flight thread, PalmPrePerson. Also, when posting, it's nice to have some dialog, rather than just links. Moving it on over.....

K. Thanks! Well I do need some new batteries, So I guess Im leaning in the CH-9000 way. Also, thanks for the info on the BC-900, Not gonna go near that one now!

Final price is the BC-700 for 29.99

Or the MH-C9000 for 39.99

The BC-1000 I just looked up is like 60 bucks.

I vote the MH 9000, mine is a solid performer, easy to use, and full of useful features.

If I lost it, I'd replace it with the same without delay.

Hey guys I just noticed the finishing grinder in MF's shop. I've been using the nano grinder with my mflb for about 2 years, I didn't even know they were selling that finishing grinder.

Anyone here who owns it wanna tell me if it's any good?

Also I received my new glyph batteries today I'll try them out tonight :D

It's a luxury item IMO but it works well. I don't own one, however videos have been posted in this thread some pages back. Since it "grates" the weed to break it down, you want to use thoroughly dry bud for optimal performance. I use a simar style grinder sometimes (a card grinder) and find that sticking the nugs in the freezer for a bit helps.

I won't be getting it any time soon, but if I win the lottery...

For use with the MFLB the finishing grinder is a good item. I use it also for the Minivap or Vaporgenie with no problem at all. It's pricey but the ground materials comes out as fine as flour and vaporizes amazingly in the box.
I don't have any other "professional" vape like Santa Cruz or others, maybe adding a little more you can get one of those but the fact that mates perfectly with the box makes of it a great grinder if you use the MFLB a lot.

The finishing grinder provides THE BEST grind for the MFLB. I've had the nano grinder for a while (a year maybe?) and even with super dry bud it would get stuck all the time. I have to scrape it off every 4 or 5 grinds and soak it in iso every 15.

I got the finishing grinder maybe 2 weeks ago and I haven't used any other grinder since for my magic flight. It provides super fine grind almost to the consistency of kief. Paired with the new batts it makes the magic flight the perfect everyday vape for me, reserving the Solo for the weekends. All about the conservation baby.

I also own the finishing grinder. It's totally worth the money. I feel absolutely spoiled and would never use anything else for my MFLB. I may also buy the nano grinder as I plan on purchasing a FV with S2 to balance the excellent conduction I get from the MFLB. Feels great to support a company like Magic-Flight that manufactures and operates in a level unparalleled to any other company, in my opinion. Made in the USA, baby!

Been debating wether or not to order a stem, does anyone actually have a measurable amount of reclaim on the glass stem? Or is the amount usually negligible?

P.s. you know you're vaked when you have to pronounce neg lig ible in syllable form to spell it.

You could try reading this thread. Yes, many of us have tried both types of tray. The consensus is that they both work well with the PA or the new Magic-Flight custom batteries, so-so with Powerex 2700s, and don't bother trying with any other batteries.

Alright thanks for the quick answers about the finishing grinder, I might get one soon but it's not a priority right now. As Quetzalcoatl said, it does seem like a luxury item.

Now about the glyph batteries, I remember reading that they deliver a constant amount of heat - regardless if you're taking your first hit off a freshly charged battery or the last hit off an almost fully drained battery. Is that true?

I also vaped a bit yesterday with my new batteries and they work much better than my old powerex 2400 ones. I worked a lot in the past few days so I didn't have much time to try them but I'm off work tomorrow so I'm gonna truely test them tonight and tomorrow :)

How do you dry and grind your bud?

When I get a fresh baggie of Medicinal Cannabis, I let it dry out for a couple hours under a warm light and a fan to move the air a little. Then I dump it all in a coffee grinder and grind it up pretty fine. Brush everything out into a glass jar. I go through about 2.5 oz. per month so hand grinding takes too long. It Works beautifully and I've never had a problem.

I grind mine up first and then dehydrate it in a Sedona dehydrator. I put it on 40C for 2 hours. typically I'd vape off 20% of the weight in water but after lightly dehydating I only get about 3% off. I figured that typically light, moisture and air (Oxygen) are what you want to keep away from organic things in order to make them last longer. so why not apply this to herb. seems to work. i notice no lack of potency or vape quality. the reason i grind first is to have more surface area to dehydate faster and more evenly.

...I don't know if you realize that this is an 870 page thread lol, i read through what i could and didn't see the tray mentioned by anyone so i figured i'd ask. I use the powerex 2700s with my flightbox, is it worth the purchase if i wouldn't be using the power adapter with it?
