Curious if anyone found a better deal for the power adapter, seems none of our retailers carry it. Can only find it on the MLFB site, sitting in my shopping cart right now. Having trouble pulling the trigger though, $59 plus shipping for basically a power cord seems like too much to me.

I have never seen it for sale anywhere else. It's not just a power cord, of course. It's absolutely worth the price.

As a french customer, it would cost me $23.95 for a 10-30 days delivery (without tracking), and if the customs decide to tax it, it would cost me about as much as what I paid for the Box itself...

I just got an MFLB and I was told by the original owner the battery may need to be replaced. I did search through the thread but I just want someone to verify.

I need a new battery if my MFLB is not producing much vapor/none at all?? The orange light inside of the trench is kind of dim and small, not sure how bright its supposed to be.. But I can hold my battery in the MFLB for like 1 minute while hitting and it wont combust or give off any vapor either.

Does that sound like a old battery symptom?? Just checkin before I go and purchase some batteries and end up finding out its really something wrong with the box itself..

Yes, those are symptoms of a bad battery. If you order new ones online then get the new Magic-Flight batteries. If you get them locally, pick up some Powerex 2700s if you plan to use it daily, or Imedion 2400s if you will be an occasional user. You'll have to peel those yourself.

Yeah, I contacted my usual headshop a few months ago, and they told me MF were not selling it to EU retailers yet, and were actually trying to find a EU based manufacturer for the PA.

French here, tax applied on 2 packs (tracked one 3-6days 45$) and nothing from letter style gift from MF.

edit - googled and saw it would work but might not be the best for the battery overall.

Just got my concentrate tray last week and have to say, so far, not impressed. I keep putting smaller and smaller pieces but it still leaks off and now has stained my screen. I also seem to have burnt wood underneath where the oil is staining the screen and it's right by the mouthpiece so now all I taste is burnt wood. Then when vaping flowers the trench seems to be cooked after 3 hits and not a lot of vapor. I don't know if the screen is screwed up now by using this but I'm sure Magic Flight will say it's my fault even though I'm using THEIR accessory. I guess I can still use the other tray for bubble and kief but I've kind of messed up my precious Flight Box now. Wish there had been more or better videos to watch of people using it so I didn't screw mine up. Anyone have advice on how to clean the oil off the screen? 91 % ISO didn't seem to do it.

I just got my new MF batteries and I have a questions you you guys ( i think paka will be able to answer). Currently I am without my MF charger, mine broke and my new one wont be here for a few more days. I have a stock durracell charger for their 2450 mAh, will this charger work with the new batts?

Last i looked.. MagicFlight's Life Time Warranty even covered user error.. so they probably wont blame you.. just explain your problem and be nice.. i'm sure they'll take care of you.. IME their warranty service is awesome.
that oil on the screen will lighten up w/ time.. but its pretty much there for good.. it shouldn't effect performance though.. load less than a half of a .1 at a time.. if its leaking off then i have to assume your still using too much for the tray.. IMO you don't really need a better video to not screw up.. its pretty straight forward.. just about the only way to screw up is to over load it.

Yeah, I'll have to see if they'll replace it then, that burnt taste is just killing me. Seems like part of my screen is peeling back anyway so if I can take care of 2 things at once then great. It would be nice if the tray sat a little more flat and even but either way it seems that when I'm taking my hit that it's pulling the bubbling oil toward the mouthpiece and on to the screen. I try to tip it back a bit but as soon as I stop inhaling it goes back the other way! DOH! Guess it's a work in progress! But you say the staining shouldn't affect performance? I guess I'll find out with time. Any tips for cleaning the tray without a torch?

This isn't correct. The stock charger and Powerex or Imedion batteries are 100% compatible.

Yes. As far as chargers go, the new batteries are the same as the old batteries. Any NiMH charger will handle them but the quick-charge (15 minute) variety should be avoided. They will reduce battery life significantly.

awesome.. hits very hard and gives me thick vapor. I will use it for dry concentrates exclusively. I wish I got this as my first vape its easy and discreet. I use it in native mode.

I got it for 40 + 15$ for new batteries. Ill be ordering more off amazon =)

Building one is going to be a huge problem I think, I advise against it. After review of the details I bought one and I believe I'm more capable of such things than most. You understand you're talking about a fifteen Amp plus supply at under a Volt? And you have to put the output stage in the 'fake battery' or plan on using very heavy (read 'industrial extension cord') cable to it to deal with the current most likely? The MF design is not trivial or 'off the shelf' in any way I can see.

Anyway, thanks in advance for explaining what the 'want a PA?' thing is about.

Have you checked to see if MF will wholesale them out at all? I thought the only way to buy one was from them directly (how I got mine).

If they will, it sounds like this has potential....please keep us posted? Like I said I know a couple of happy owners who liked mine but balked at the bucks. TIA

Sounds like a good idea.. Ive seen this done on car forums where they sell mods.. say 20 ppl commit to buying the price drops a bit..

I don't know why mf doesn't offer a kit that comes with pa? I'm pretty sure most people would buy it . This way the cost of shipping doesn't hurt as much. Mf should have different kits like a delux kit that comes with everyrhing like the grinder, contrated pad and the wpa.

My understanding of the power adapter build is that they need special-ordered parts for it, which is why it hasn't dropped in price... ever. The good news, though, is that they sell a special car cable. One of the nice things about having the detachable cable on one side of the PA housing. As for how discreet that is, not very... if you're vaping and driving. Good for camping out, though, or when you can't stop for a few hours to recharge.
