Not a bad idea, thought they would take Massdrop more seriously then me sending them a message. It's worth a shot though, just sent their wholesale department a message. I'll let you guys and gals know what the response is as soon as I get it.
Yeah I was thinking the added on car accessory would be for when I'm a passenger in a car, not driving. I don't even really like driving anymore, too many stupid people out there. Camping would be good time to use too though.

I've actually used the PA and car adapter, while my husband was driving, several times, and I had no problems at all. I'm just very careful while I do it, making sure that no one can see me doing it.

I've seen this group buy discount too.
on a side note, it took me a long time to figure out that where the PA shines over battery is that the PA reaches the level of the dial and stops while a battery keeps getting hotter and hotter the longer it is pushed in.

Funny, in a obvious difference in techniques I noticed the exact opposite....in a different time frame perhaps?
I find that the battery performance drops in use, I automatically compensate for this as I'm sure most do, but picking up the box 'cold' is always a bit of a guess unless I've got strong information on the battery state.
The latest batteries are much better here I think?
With the PA it always heats the same way, I get a routine, a 'rhythm' if you will, that's easier to work with. I have the biggest problem with this shifting back to battery after a few PA sessions, no big deal.

OF, i dare to say, it's like a quantum leap for us on the old continent. 
no more three weeks or more waiting for the delivery of accessories and dealing with the annoying customs. just placing the order and the goodies arrive on the next day or the day after that. they also seem to have the new batteries.

In a more civilized society there would be a movement started to make it a Holiday for next year? Then again, I guess "D Day" already has that covered..... OK, I can live with that, a different kind of Freedom and Independence in the play but the idea is basically the same?

Man I don't get it, bad luck wont leave me the fuck alone! 
First it was with the VB 2.0, now I can't get a decent pair of batteries sent to me! They arrived with the white crap around the outside rim of the positive ends again, am I the only one this is happening to? Please if anyone else has had this problem with the new batteries, send me a PM. I want to confirm that I am fucking cursed!

Yes, it's perfectly fine. I have owned a C9000 for a few years now, and I always charge my peeled batteries, as well as non peeled batteries.

AFAIK, no, you're alone here. Why? You think there's a chance they're being overheated somewhere along the line getting to you? I doubt the nice people are saving rejects for you but you never know.....you piss them off somehow?
Good luck, they're worth some extra effort to get IMO. I assume you're also keeping the duds (which probably work fine anyway if they don't dry out).

I'm with Vicki here, great machine, you'll like it.
Just a comment on text color choices. I don't know what options you're using but black text basically disappears from the default settings, you might consider a different choice (avoid red, that's for the Mods)?

No, I was nice about it, did nothing to piss them off I can think of. Can I try and use the vented batteries? I was worried I might inhale something I shouldn't, since the battery is kind of in the air path.

I'm sure you're not, I was poking fun. Even if you'd been 'the irate customer from Hell' I'd expect them to treat you right, as I'm sure they will here eventually.
Yes, I'd clean them up and use them. Typically the leaks come from the gasket around the lip, the safety vent is usually a one shot thing involving a diaphragm and spike. Any additional leakage (which would probably cause me to pitch them) will come in charging, not discharging. And even then it would be trapped by the push back ring and directed out the assembly hole in the back.
I see no reason to fear them, and am too cheap to throw out expensive high performance batteries like that that might offer good service.

Primary designed to charge smartphone/tablets/laptops while camping without a power grid or car.
But important secondary use is for the PA, besides that it can charge two batteries at the usb port!
So you can always vape, you only need the sun!
