What I have especially enjoyed with the MFLB kit is scraping the build up on the grinder teeth off with a flat head screwdriver and vaping it up! mmmm tasty...

Sup guys. I apologize if this has been asked before, but I would appreciate any advice or a link to where I could read up on this. There was a time when I read 250+ pages of this thread, but I just can't really find the time to do that at the moment.

I have a MFLB and a PA/car adapter, and I've been seeing some of JD's videos lately where he's using a waterpipe with his MFLB. I've known this is possible for a while, but never really considered it something practical, simply do to my necessity to hide my weed related items. That being said, it looks like too much fun and liek it would allow me to get the most out of my MFLB. I have zero experience with waterpipes, however, so I'm kind of lost as to what is necessary to hook it up.

I know I need the adapter from the site, but what kind of waterpipe is necessary to use the MFLB? Are there any relatively cheap options? I may be incorrect (sorry if I am), but I would think you don't need anything crazy to get some good MFLB waterpipe hits, since its vapor after all.

Any advice regarding what type of WP is needed/any cheap options would be very much appreciated. Thanks for any help bros.

The only standard for your glass is that it uses a Glass on Glass seal (standard size is 14mm or 18.8mm and an adapter can be purchased so both sides work). Other than that, just about anything works although I think going on the smaller side is generally more effective for use with the WPA.

Here is a direct link to the store that sells the water pipe adapter. As for a waterpipe you can check Aqua Lab Technologies although most of those pieces are on the high end side and are relatively expensive. Here is a 6-arm bubbler on the cheaper side of Aqua Lab pricing, but if you aren't looking for something that high end their are alternatives.

I'm sure Vitolo can help you out with that, he seems to have been able to find some great affordable pieces in the past.

I recommend purchasing the Power Adapter before getting the Water Pipe adapter though, because its hard to get thick milks with batteries. JD did it but I have had little to no success in the past and I know I am not the only one. It depends on the herb, usage and battery power, among other things.

Just got a few Nizn batteries off eBay and the launch box finally seems like its working as intended. No issues with overheating or combustion, but does give a much more consistent draw - almost like what I have seen with the power adapter. Anyone else using these?

My LB came in on saturday and I must say that I LOVE this thing! 2 trenches and I'm feeling grrreat :)

However, somehow last night I sparked a cherry in the trench. I was about to finish my hit then I saw the cherry light up. I dumped it out asap, but now there's a brown spot on the screen. Did I mess up my box??

No you did not! It may have a bad taste for a little bit but it will go away faster the more you use it!
Just remember to shake the trench up so that there isn't anything stuck to the bottom.

If you accidentally combust, I would recommend giving it an iso cleaning. I use a q-tip followed by the brush and then use the PA to burn away the iso. I do have brown and black spots, but it doesn't effect the overall performance one bit.

I finally got a PA, and let me tell you. These guys aren't fuckin' around. It hits like a champ! It's also built very well. Somebody's got an Engineering degree, because it blows my mind how you could even make a PA for the box, but they did it, and did it right. Thanks Magic Flight.

Right on Cutie !
When I do combust :uhoh: I quickly clean the screen with overproof rum or
everclear( using the LB brush ), leave the lid open and let the PA burn it off at about 3/4 max power
for around 30 seconds.
The burned taste is gone immediately ! :brow:

You got all that right, sundaddy! The PA ROCKS!! And, is another fine example of how great Magic Flight and their people are. I wish they could train or advise everybody else I deal with or buy products from. The world would be a much better place for all of us if the Magic Flight business model were spread far and wide!

Whew, what a relief! I just had combustion again and like last time, I did shake the trench before each hit. What am I doing wrong? Is my herb too dry? Am I hitting it when all of the herb has passed its vape-able stage?

How dark is your vaped herb? I think you could just be over vaping it because my herb is pretty dry as well.
Also the length of your hits could be a factor.

The black bits may be causing it. Also hit length. It could be just getting too hot for too long.
If you have a fine grind the bud will brown nice and evenly and you can achieve well vaped bud without any black bits.

MM..Food,
Indeed, shake after every hit, and increase your rate of inhalation so that the temperature drops. Remember - you control the temp, with lower rates of air passage making it hotter, and higher rates make it cooler.

Also, new boxes run way hotter at the very beginning and cool down as time goes on. This has been my experience twice now, so you can expect your box to settle down a bit in time.

Sometimes if you over fill the trench, the herb wont move no matter how hard you shake it!! Start small and see how that goes. Only other thing i can think of, is the length of time your holding in the battery. :2c:

Smack the plexiglass (trench end) off the palm of your hand. Dislodge the loaf. Shake the load until it falls apart. It WILL come up :)

Shake, shake, shake - then shake a little more. Check the bottom of your trench by holding the MFLB sideways (check both sides) with lid closed to be sure none is stuck to the screen after shaking. Sometimes if my material is super sticky (yumm!) or not quite dry enough a thin line will stick to the screen in bottom of trench. Usually some hard raps on the bottom of the box and more shaking will free it up, but occasionally a LIGHT touch or two with a toothpick or the brush is needed to get that bit moving around. Very lightly just touch the material (not the screen). Never have had to do anything remotely like a scrape, just a little nudge frees it up. I've only seen this happen after the first hit from a fresh trench with a fresh battery or the PA, but I've found it will often do it for more first hits from that same sticky nug. Think it only happens on fresh trenches because that first hit dries everything out a little bit.

If you don't get this bit freed up, it will take much of the heat on next hit and may start to burn. Once you get more familiar with your MFLB you'll notice the distinctive "getting too hot" flavor immediately and know to stop and check none is sticking. But until then, you might want to do the sideways bottom trench check on every fresh trench to be sure.

If your bud isn't super sticky and this is happening, it may be that it's not quite dry enough. Before grinding, wrap loosely in a piece of paper (or newspaper even better) and put it on top of your cable box or other warm surface for an hour or so. This trick always works for me when the problem is less than totally dry buds or if humidity is really high.

Oh haha I wonder if I'm the only one that knows this but if you just push the battery in for a few second and then shake and tap the box then everything will fall off. All it needs is a little heat to unstick it.
