Bdub said:The only standard for your glass is that it uses a Glass on Glass seal (standard size is 14mm or 18.8mm and an adapter can be purchased so both sides work). Other than that, just about anything works although I think going on the smaller side is generally more effective for use with the WPA.
Here is a direct link to the store that sells the water pipe adapter. As for a waterpipe you can check Aqua Lab Technologies although most of those pieces are on the high end side and are relatively expensive. Here is a 6-arm bubbler on the cheaper side of Aqua Lab pricing, but if you aren't looking for something that high end their are alternatives.
I'm sure Vitolo can help you out with that, he seems to have been able to find some great affordable pieces in the past.
I recommend purchasing the Power Adapter before getting the Water Pipe adapter though, because its hard to get thick milks with batteries. JD did it but I have had little to no success in the past and I know I am not the only one. It depends on the herb, usage and battery power, among other things.

Nice pickup. Looks like it will do the job perfectly. Minimal diffusion, small tube length and bore, and glass on glass connectors with a diffused down stem. Enjoy!

On a bit of a sadder note, my LB is filthy because i lost my soldering brush about 2 months ago and i didnt realize how dirty it was untill the other day, it has a crack in the wood on the back that will break all the way soon, my PA is broken, and my batteries are all dying.

Morbius said:Hey all,
Just thought I would post a small problem I am having with the new power adapter I got.
I have contacted MF and am yet to hear back from them, but I thought it might be prudent to post it here in case I can fix it somehow myself.
I am confident they will sort it out if I cant.
Anyway,
I noted that the power adapter was at first not quite as strong as a new battery, but I realised after about an hours use that the intensity was fluctuating.
If I pressed the button twice in succession without moving the adapter the second time could be either dimmer or brighter than the first (Usually dimmer), and a number of times there would be no light at all.
Also, if I rotate the power adapter within the box the light fluctuates.
If i keep a very firm pressure on the battery, pushing as though I was pushing in a battery against the push back ring (which I dont use) this second aspect seems lessened.
In addition the "battery" section of the adapter seems to get quite warm.
I never had any problems with power fluctuations with the batteries so I think this behaviour must be the power adapter.
So... any thoughts?

In other words can you hold the setup by the battery section of the power adapter and just push the button or do you get a weak/no contact?
