Well... I can't offer a full report on the charger just yet but I did do the break in thingy on the new Powerex's which say 2700. When they FINALLY finished the cycle (almost 2 days ) it said they were 2500 something. I aways hear batteries are overrated by mfgrs. in e-cig world. The book also says you can do the break in cycle a few times BUT...then I'd be waiting 2 more days so I figure I'll use them first!

I have an older stock battery in there now on refresh to see what happens.

I'm using one of the new Powerex's now (EASY TO PEEL) and it works very well. Finished a trench and battery still strong but so were my stock at this point. I'll see how it lasts and report back.

I'm planning to do a refresh on my other stock batts and will see what I find.

This charger is like playing with a science experiment or something to me. More to come

I've been using a C9000 charger for about 5 years. It works very well but does require a lot of button pushing to setup a non default (1 amp) charge. It is also noisy making a seperate high pitched noise for each battery it is charging. Once it gets going it's like a symphony.

That would also depend on how finely ground the herb is. Actual weight could vary quite a bit.

That being said, how long does a quarter oz. of your favorite herbal blend last you utilizing only the MFLB. I can usually stretch one out for a month.

of course it could easily be much much different, I usually just use the LB on the go so I never need to get blasted with it. But even if you went throw a whole trench each session it will last a long time.

I'm not sure how this relates to lowfront's high, but I can stay comfortable all day on a trench. I don't have a scale but I load a trench almost full with pretty fine grind. If .1 is right then that means it'll take me about 280 days to finish an oz. Knock off a few days for the stems and call it nine months. That's... insane. When I used to combust, an ounce lasted about six weeks. I know the LB is way more efficient but that's better than 6:1. I suspect it might not be quite that good but it could be. I estimated my Extreme at around 3:1 and I am sure the LB beats that. Here's the real difference for me, though: the LB delivers hits one at a time, discreetly, with no waiting, and it goes where I go. You just can't do better than that.

Notice I said I can stay comfortable all day. That's because I can hit the LB once or twice, get a nice glow going, and then put it in my pocket for a while. I can step up the frequency and make it really intense, or I can just <pun>space the hits out</pun> and stay relaxed and mellow. If I tried to do the same thing by rolling and burning--almost impossible without getting in trouble--an oz would only last about two weeks. If I used glass instead, the <pun>burn rate</pun> goes back to about six weeks per oz and I'm still tethered to my glass so I can't really stay comfortable all day unless I stay home. This is even true for my Extreme. The LB, on the other hand... well, it's in my other hand and you never even noticed

upriver: I've read this entire thread. It takes forever. Sometimes I thought that if I saw one more "What's the best batteries and charger?" post I would have to poke out my eyes with hot knives--but I usually didn't. It was worth it; there's a lot of good information.

My suggestion: finish the thread for sure, but before your LB arrives go to the Search function and pull up all posts by magicflight. Everything you need to know is there. You'll get a wonderful insight into the device, the company, and the person. If you don't come away in awe then there's something wrong with you. In fact, I recommend this to everyone who's never done it. It's a treat.

Magicflight ever since hearing about this product and noticing it's popularity I've wondered about it's creation/construction etc. Basically any behind the scenes info, just out of curiosity? What kind of factories are these made in for example?
Obviously nothing that would give competitors info.. I'm not looking for that, my box will be here in a day or two

Yeah you have one of the early models. The ones shipping for the last year or so make no sound at all. I count 5 button pushes to properly setup a 2700mAh battery to charge, not too bad.

My C9000 shipped today, and according to UPS, is scheduled to be delivered next Wednesday.

That's 20 button pushes to charge 4 batteries. I'm not complaining just pointing it out. Your right that it isn't a big deal. I'll have to take a look at the latest revision but I kinda like the sound. You know what it's up to by the noises it's making.

If you don't push any buttons for 5 seconds they just start charging at 1000mah(with the 9000 chargere there).

Been using the LB daily for the last five months. I have the original batts and two duracells.
Just recently I noticed that even after being completely recharged my batts are not as strong as they
used to be . That little light seems mighty dim and my draw has slowed down to a whisper,
just to get a good hit.
I thought that all this catwaalering about batts was nit- picking , but
now I see how weak batts can kill the whole experience. Guess I have to get some mahas,
or wait for the power adapter MF is developing.
Hate to have a wire hanging off my box though. :/

Just stop by walmarts photo section and pick up some "pre charged" rechargable AA. Then remove the wrapper.

Do you have a charger that can refresh your batts? I've yet to run into this issue, but I ended up getting the C9000 myself a while back so I can keep the batteries in good shape. From everything I've read online on other forums (not vape related) the chargers that can cycle & do forming charges can bring back a dying batt, may be worth checking into.
