I was trying to judge by the size of the trench when i saw it at the Toronto expo, seemed like it would be about 2-3 elbows on the extreme, filled to the top of the trench. Im so excited waiting for the launch boxes to get here. Definately gunna rip it until i get it figured out, may even have to go on a little fishing excursion when it gets here. I figure I will have to get the C9000 charger and the MAHA 2700s sooner or later, but should be able to make due one a few batteries for now.
When it gets here is it good to go right out of the box, or is there any packing oils or anything that need to be burnt off?
Edit: How long does it take the current stock charger to charge the stock batteries? Hard to find things searching this thread sometimes because its so huge, comes up witl tons of miss hits.

lowfront said:the thing that sucks about the stock option in general is that you have to charge 2 batteries at once....can't charge them single.
so you can never have a back up. Do you just have 2 batteries coming?
If anything just make sure you have 4 batts so you can always have 2 ready to go.

It's awesome just make the purchase.
Just got it on puffitup.com for only $84.15 free shipping. Ordered it on Thursday and got it on Saturday afternoon! with discount code.
Puffitup has all the new models in too, they just received these directly from Magic Flight, and shipped the new features, including the new o ring, and battery stopper. (dont think those are the right names, but i'm a newbie!)
After doing research this is the cheapest place too get them, they even send you a free grinder and some spearmint herbs. nice little freebie!
So I'm new too the MFLB, and did tons of research on it, it's defiantly a great buy.
I'll post some pics about it!
fffffut said:so i ordered my magic flight like last april, and i have loved using it since
i was wondering though, would magic flight replace mine with the newer model?
i know i could email them, but i figured id ask here first since somebody here might have already figured this out
pakalolo said:appa juice: That's not quite correct. magicflight has said that Radio Shack chargers should be avoided. See:
http://www.fuckcombustion.com/viewtopic.php?pid=34460#p34460
The Radio Shack batteries themselves should be usable as long as they are NiMH and peeled, but they are said to be mediocre. I have never used them myself. Keep in mind that the rating printed on the battery can be drastically far from correct.
because they give a lifetime warranty?lowfront said:why would they replace it for a newer one?
