I want all of them!!!! Something about hitting a log vape with a wooden stem, don't need a visual q, I can use my tastebuds!!!

And do keep in mind that is a $65 dollar camera (My thinking is, a better camera will not help someone like me.) and I am a terrible photographer.

All of them have a distinct, pronounced flavor. Sometimes, it's too much and I go to glass instead. Nice to have such variety! Looking forward to seeing what will be offered in the future.

I already have my next 5 wooden stem purchases planned for when my name comes up for another HI! :lol:

It's ridiculous.

I'm still a little confused by the wine cork tube. I just am not sure which way to wrap my mind around it. weed.

Does it replace or work alongside a normal roasting tube? like are all WCT's glass inside of corks and you can get a normal end or a 14/18mm end on it?

not ridiculous at all....I would call it a concerted effort at becoming a JedHi master....it is a path I have chosen to walk...my name will forever recycle on his list!!

You could say that they replace the all-glass stems, but I'd still probably want both.

It sounds like you get it. It's a few pieces of glass tubes, held in place by the corks when screwed together, while the bowl is created by two screens that are "smushed" into place by the two smaller glass pieces at the bottom.

Much less confusing than it sounds. If the muses' aren't all up on my balls this afternoon, I'll try to take a series of pics.

Nice post, great pics. the only difference in the 14/19mm is that one cork is tapered to fit into a bubbler.

you might start thinking about Centizen's excellent VVPS, which will greatly reduce the possibility of combustion. You have to be a little careful with the stock HI.

i am fairly certain that Centizen is not making his vvps' atm. I PMed him a couple weeks ago and he explained that he was very busy with his high performance batteries and would be taking a break from building the vvps.

cheers mate. thanks for your advice. I think I know what I'm in for, I'm an old logvape fan, VVPS of all sorts already at hand. Still had to include one of those nice VoltageKeepers in my package though, they seemed too nice to pass up, and Jordan sounds like a great guy.

That's too bad.:( His miniVVPS is really nice. The dial has total "feel" to it which gives the user complete control, not to mention it's one sexy looking little unit as well. Glad I got mine!:nod:

I plan to use the unit with a VVPS, but i was thinking about having a lower power power supply for it if i was travelling with it or didn't want to bother with a VVPS.

So could i potentially get a 10.5V or 9V adapter and just go nuts with it being plugged straight into the unit directly?

Exit, My sweet spot for my HIsaber with a SS core is between 11.8 to 12.2 volts with my trusty Hildebrandt VVPS. I would get your VVPS with a fairly accurate digital display and find your sweet spot then find a fixed voltage power block within that range if thats what you choose to do. 9v is too low for me, but thats just me.

I tend to go a bit lower than you do, in the 10.3-11.2 range, but it's personal preference.

Ask Alan about wood choices or you can check out this thread and order your own wood. Look at the most recent posts by @Snappo for the most current offerings.

I was told by Alan that the bottom cap is aesthetic, the vape will function 100% without it.

There are many different VVPS's available at a wide range of prices to choose from. Some are very well built and others are crap.
I've been using this Hildebrandt Spartan for the past year with no issues. I bought it long before the VK was available. Cost about $50 with shipping. It does go up to 18v which is way too high for a HISaber but the settings click in place to the tenth of a volt. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I just leave it set at 11.8 volts to start with and it will stay there until you change the setting. I rarely go beyond 12.2v. I like the VVPS because you can dial in your preferred temperature range and you have the ability to experiment with a wide range of temperatures. I asked Alan to make me an 8 foot power cord when he made my HI last year. These types of tattoo power supplies have 2 power ports. They use a foot switch to control the off/on of the tattoo equipment so you will need to make a dummy plug to act as an "always on" switch. Just get a 1/4" mono phono plug from Radio Shack and short the two terminals together by soldering a short wire between the terminals. Easy to make. Just plug it into the second 1/4" port.
Thats what works for me but I do like what I see with the VK and I will probably get one sometime in the future.

I get HI and I write a freaking book! What the hell??

BTW...Did I mention that I really really really like my HISaber??? Yessssssss, I do like my precioussssss!

I would STRONGLY suggest you get one through VK. Or at least enter into a conversation with him. The guy is seriously passionate about attending to every customer's needs.

The VK's have much the same appeal as a HI... but... you kinda just have to see one in person to understand, you know? :shrug:

I consider my VK now to be as one with the HI.
