So would this style of roasting tube still work with the stainless steel core? I don't have a good grasp of these roasting tube combos yet.

Another new roasting tube configuration to announce. It is a wine cork with a 1/2" hole bored through it. A 13mm x 1" long glass tube fits into one end and a 13mm x 3.5" long glass tube fits into the other. A 1/2" screen is captured between the tubes. The air flow is just amazing. So easy to clean. Going to have to start drinking more wine or just get some new corks.

Agreed. I too have great news. My new HIsaber is in the works as we speak. It is looking gorgeous; I need to post the pics Alan sent me, so my fellow jedHIs can join me & drool over them! :drool:

Jeppy, with each of us soon to be wielding dual-HIsabers, the Sith shall no longer be a problem in this neck of the woods! The Force grows stronger, with each passing week. Master JedHI Alan continues on his quest; training new Padawans & crafting beautiful HIsabers (with skill unlike any other). :cool:
I am quite happy that our new units, were co-incidentally created/crafted side-by-side (OK, so maybe not exactly. Close proximity though..perhaps?).

Send me good vibes to get a job and hopefully I'll finally be a JedHI ! Anyway this gives me time to think about what I'll want, I'm still unsure.

There isn't yet owner of a HIbrid with glass core over here?

This style of roasting tube will work with both the glass and ss heater covers. The only limitations I have on my roasting tubes is that the stainless steel roasting tips won't work with the glass heater cover. Otherwise they are all interchangeable.

Was thinking about how I could use Fluidization in a roasting tube for the HI today. Discovered that I can add some herb to a U Tube and then insert it into another U Tube. The herb is now contained in a glass tube with a screen on each end. It can be inverted onto the HI with no worries of spilling. The HI ss or glass heater covers can never come in direct contact with the herb so there is no chance of scorching or packing. It would work well in a 14mm or 18mm HT.
I inserted a glass mouthpiece tube into the end of one U Tube for a great direct draw tube. Got to thinking that I could replace the silicone on the U Tubes with a wine cork so it would be easier to take it apart. I have a 14mm fitting with a tube that should fit right into the wine cork in place of the mouthpiece tube. They make 18mm fittings that will connect the same way.
Need to get some wine corks ordered now.

Thanks for posting the photos of your new HISabers Mom, Jeppy, and deadheadbill. Hope you will be enjoying them very shortly.

I don't have any more of the Voltage Keeper units for sale but hope to get some more soon. Will be interesting to see what he comes up with this time.

Alan, I have a question about the waiting list, I'm in, but if when you call me my funds are too low can I stay in the waiting list to get it later or can I give my place to another FC menber?

Somebody could post a picture of the HI side of the Nano for size comparison, thanks in advance
