Why is the curtain changing colour so much?
Maybe it's just the light playing with my eyes

That's just video compression artifacts...Why is the curtain changing colour so much?

Well, it's about time.
The ABV though seemed to still be a bit on the green side, eh?
Ehh maybe, but to me all that says is that he could have afforded to have taken a few more hits off of it. I know that there will be doubters no matter what, but this video really answered whatever questions that I had left.
Interesting first post without even an intro. Also interesting that you left out of my quote, "While nowhere near the vapor production of a good desktop vape, it wasn't bad.".
I'm just glad to see that it works.
Seems like a pretty solid little vape if it works the way demonstrated in the video consistently ...
Am I supposed to give an intro? I've been lurking these forums for a while but I've mainly been paying attention to the actual vaporizer threads and haven't really looked through any of the personal/more casual parts of the forums.
Where did that video come from? Doesn't appear to be on the indiegogo campaign nor the official website. For a purely convection vape, that first hit he took looked massive. The first couple of hits are usually all flavour with very small clouds due to the nature of the heating methods, yet that first hit even though it was only a relatively short inhale was much bigger than I'd get out of the first hit of my SSV.
Maybe I just have low tolerance, but I'd be pretty baked after all that vaping. I don't usually have more than 4 or 5 hits at a time as that's enough to make me sufficiently medicated for the next hour or so, so I don't know how a first time vaper is still going after 3 bowls. If we get more videos before the end of the campaign, then I might reconsider my stance and commit to this.

Actually, I thought the video demonstrated a highly functional device and very adequate vapor production. Take note, he was only vaping at 360F which is quite low on the temperature spectrum. Also, he was hitting it constantly with very little downtime. That shows me that the heater is in fact pretty fucking powerful. I bet if you cranked that thing up to 400F it would produce some serious clouds. I'd like to see a video with Grasshopper set at the 400F range. I typically vape at 390 to 410... It would be interesting to see how it performs at those levels. Overall, the vapor produced at 360F is more than adequate IMO...
The last video clears things up a bit, but you could get the same results with a Thermovape EVO, considering so few hits were taken during the length of the video. My problem with the EVO is that one set of batteries just doesn't last long enough for more than one session for one person, so I only really use it with the power adapter.
Will there be a video that demonstrates battery life? Cause that seems to be the biggest problem I've found with convection flower portables.
I think the only way to really show off the battery life is to have 3rd party reviews, or a live stream of one person going at the GH for about 3 hours straight, lol.
