well youve def got the elegant form factor down, but high performance? i find it a stretch to say the videos weve seen has proven high performance.
I don't know man, I've hit my buddies Arizer V-Tower and that first video looked similar in performance to me. And the second they were specifically asked here on FC to make a video with shorter, low temp hits. At very least it is significantly better than my MFLB and looks like it could quite easily equal my solo. That's plenty for me.
I feel like this thing is getting compared to the cloud all the time and I hope I'm not the only one who feels like that's
crazy. I mean, maybe if you pull it through water you could get close but I would cough like a sissy bitch hitting that out of a tiny metal pipe. Ain't no stealth at that point.
It's also worth noting that we have only seen it turned upto 80%. If it hasn't been already shot I strongly recommend to Trevor and Conrad that they film a segment with the power maxed. My ideal video would be load a fresh load at 20% and take 3 or 4 long drags. Then dump, reload, repeat at 40%, 60%, 80% and 100%. I don't care about the angle because I wouldn't want to film my face committing a felony either.
Most recently I got an interesting answer to a question I'd first posed here yesterday
I actually came here to post this initially, I thought it was really, really, interesting. Didn't notice the name over on reddit. I don't own a cera but my understanding is that the mouth piece has a spiral design internally that cools it. I can really see the at least theoretical logic behind the same idea applied in reverse.
Every vape I've ever used is focused on a single point of critical heat. The ceramic rod in the the Buddha, Hot plate and screen in the solo and MFLB that super heats the air that then quickly cools. Now if they are creating an artificially long path and applying constant heat the entire way through. Certainly with high end 3d printing the idea isn't crazy. There shouldn't even be that much heat to radiate.
I also thought people who were worried about where it would be made that at least the heater is confirmed to be stateside.
