I have thought about purchasing this vape multiple times but I get anxious enough now waiting on packages from readily available sources udating fedex, ups..etc...more than I care to admit. Im going to try to wait until the honeymoon is over. I can do it. Thats what u keep telling myself.

Taking one for the team, just emailed in. I'm gonna take a guess that they're using ICR 14500 cells (high drain, 750mAh)....shouldn't be hard to find an appropriate charger. These are used in a lot of ecigs/mods.

Will update when I get my unit! I'm gonna order a Ti unit as well anyway so it's not a big deal if I don't have a fancy charger...

As soon as I get my unit I'll do my best to do a quality review. I own an extensive collection of portables to compare to, so I'm super stoked. IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING GUYS!

I'm pretty sure the GH batteries are of their own design and as far as I know only available from Hopper Labs. The battery has been mentioned here before and they spent quite a bit of time developing it with the manufacturer. Although I could be mistaken.

so not too sure how this update makes me feel... in some ways I'm pretty pumped but in others not so much.

Haha I love it, Buzz gets two hoppers before anybody else gets one.

This is part of it... I know I haven't been waiting the longest time here but the fact that Buzz has two and will likely have his 3rd and actual production unit before I have a shipping notice(guessing here) is slightly disappointing... HOWEVER, it does make sense. As much as I would like other people to be able to give their takes on it this allows the first actual comparisons between the SS and Ti unit which has been wanted for a hell of a long time and theres no better person to give that comparison than @BuzzDanklin (for more reasons than the fact that he has both) so I can deal with that (edit: this part seems more whiney than I mean it, Buzz is awesome and has never disappointed, if any1 gets to be the first to compare it should be him)

on the + side, we (FINALLY) have a picture of the Ti colors in their entirety which is cool, though I have no idea why it took so long for it.

assuming they are fully telling the truth (which I like to do) they should have a decent about of hoppers made and will continue to add to that number

The whole charger thing sucks... would love to know why they didn't disclose that until now. They clearly anticipated telling us for a bit by their wording.
"Shipping is what everyone wants to know about and we’ll cut to it." now why didn't you "cut right to it" weeks ago when they knew about the problem so the internet could keep our cool?? w.e it happens, what can ya do.

Do we know where their PCB manufacturer is located? US or China? Could be the difference between parts arriving mid-late next week or in the second half of the month (worse case next month).

A little clearer picture on this would be cool too, the parts may be ready next week but are we going to have to wait till next month to get them? or is everyone going to go crazy again in a week when they're not in yet?

I would love the option to have my order shipped without the charger and just pay extra (shipping+a few $ for the service) to ship the charger at a later date since at this point I'm most likely not going to have mine for a few things I was really looking forward to having it for (as Im sure is the case with multiple people here)

FINALLY, Trevor is giving some backers the option to have their GH shipped this week (if they forego the OEM charger)! Better yet, he gave us a solid excuse for the only thing holding us up!

It sucks the clips are not the same color as the rest of the vape for the TI units, but I don't care (especially since I ordered an SS model ). I actually like the dark gray TI with silver clip accent. If I like my first GH, maybe in 3 months I'll order one.


Now it's a race to see if we get feedback more GH owners before this thread hits page 300

I dont think the clip thing is a huge deal depending on the color Ti ordered. The Dark gray looks better imo in that pic than the others and doesnt look terrible with the silver clip, the green doesnt clash too much bc of the shade of green but it stands out a bit on the blue and would imagine the same with purple so with those 2 colors it might be a little frustrating but from that pic anyways those with green and dark gray shouldnt be too annoyed...

So @baltik, are you going to email Trevor and request your GH be shipped without a charging cable or wait until they get some in? I am also wondering if an early holiday backer does request to have their GH ship sans charging cable; will the charging cable be shipped at a later date? I'm leaning towards yes. Also, is this "low-cost external charger" going to be made widely available at a future date?

I had an email out to TrEvor 5 minutes post the update asking him the very thing, but who am I kidding I got a camping trip next week and I want that grasshopper!

also @BuzzDanklin not really sure if it has been mentioned (did a quick search but didn't notice it) I know you've ran the batter down, on either unit do you find the performance to vary as the battery gets lower/almost dead? Or does it stay pretty consistent till the last draw?

Best update yet, looks like shipping is around the corner and actually for reals. My biggest disappointment is that I don't know what I'll do for entertainment once this thread shuts down.

I think the two-tone color GHs with the clip look pretty sharp.

I'm also excited these things are going to be in people's hands pretty soon.

I thought I read that the order was put in on May 27, 2015.
My order was put in mid March of this year so I'm taking a guess that it's going to be shipped mid June? SO STOKED!!

And so begins a new round of emails to Trevor to swap out colors. They could have saved themselves the trouble if they just gave us full shots last time. I might not have switched from Grey to Green if the last picture showed the Grey as dark as this picture does. But with the two-tone look I think Green is still my favorite, with Bronze second (which I didn't like at all in the last round of pix).

Hopefully someone will share that link here? It wasn't clear to me if the charger was theirs or a third-parties.

I want a bronze cap, blue body, green rotory dial with a grey power button and no charger in a dented box. With a energizer aaa battery and a piece of aluminium foil for a diy battery spacer.

I believe it was mentioned somewhere that it can be removed but it is connected to the ring part of the clip too so there would be like a little gap thing that doesnt really look good (unless you just cut/break off the clip and sand it down but that wouldnt be considered "removable" lol)

So far I really like the difference in weight. I also like the more dull finish and if you ever think you might have a doubt then I would just get it. I’m assuming they are going to increase prices after per-order phase.

I got a leather case, and ss case, a battery, and the ss GH. Two cases for different purposes. One for shorter travel where I could just pack and go, the other for longer trips or for when I know others would be with me. Part of this was also just because I was on an order frenzy haha.

@BaMbAaAChA I just want the premium premium feel!
