I've been hoping to have it before July. Making my first trip to Saratoga race track this summer and would really love to enjoy the company of my gh.
I like it with the green, it's a subtle difference, but I could see it being unpleasant for the dark grey...i gotta say, that pic of all the hoppers lined up looks sexy AF. I'm not sure how i feel about the stainless clip with the color. I like it on some, but on others i think it might be kinda odd.
I am thinking specifically of the one i ordered, a dark grey. Now that i know the whole thing isn't going to be one color, i'm tempted to either order a better looking color, or downgrade to plain Ti.
With so few photos, it's hard to make an informed choice.
Looking at it closely, I don't think they're actually differently sized, I think it's just the difference in relief based on the relative shades of colors...Has anyone noticed that on Ti models the transition between the body and the mouthpiece is not so smooth? And there are differently sized gaps on each...
Do we know where their PCB manufacturer is located? US or China? Could be the difference between parts arriving mid-late next week or in the second half of the month (worse case next month). However they arrive, they still have to test the new parts and complete assembly blah blah blah. So no ship date is no ship date, but if they're really down to one setback and able to complete Hoppers themselves while they wait, that's pretty encouraging.Great update! Let's hope week's end holds up on tgat pcb quote - next week could be the start of shipping if it does.
Shit your right..just noticed thatHas anyone noticed that on Ti models the transition between the body and the mouthpiece is not so smooth? And there are differently sized gaps on each...
I find it encouraging that they've apparently had no faulty units so far. That speaks to a pretty high level of craftsmanship, I'd thinkDo we know where their PCB manufacturer is located? agreed.I like it with the green, it's a subtle difference, but I could see it being unpleasant for the dark grey...
O_o That which has been seen cannot be unseen.
All i can see are little tiny sadfaces made by the air holes and the seam between the mouthpiece and body.
0.55in/W X 5.50in/L Edit: Interesting side note, I think, is that I've seen people on here complaining that the hopper looks too big for a normal pen, but in my search for a suitable case, I've discovered that most pen cases for quality, ballpoint and similar type pens are sized for at least a 6 inch long pen. It probably is somewhat wider than a normal pen, though. How many inches L x W is the GH? Like it's not as a big as the Imag Plus or maybe its the size of the Storm/X-max?
That's the (least expensive) stainless steel version. You can save your money! The edges almost look serrated to me. The one on the far right looks tightly put together. I'd pay $5 more for that one.
@BuzzDanklin Can you confirm or deny the existence of a gap in the seam between the mouthpiece and the body of the Ti, compared to the SS?Has anyone noticed that on Ti models the transition between the body and the mouthpiece is not so smooth? And there are differently sized gaps on each...
