I am curious. Do the people on here who go through a lot of flower, are you using less potent strains, or high cbd strains? The strain I use blasts me into a weird, but cool, euphoric and psychedelic place. It can be overwhelming if my mind isn't right.

No I use very high THC, lab-tested. But I don't get psychedelics/visuals. If I vaped a couple grams of Jack Wreck at once I could probably feel a little funny. It's just tolerance. But there is no indica that can topple me. I use the Nano at home.

It's a big help. And with a stealth vape like the GH, the kind you don't want to have to re-fill more than necessary, having a really strong strain with effects that are somewhat predictable to you is a bonus.

I can see what you mean. I've very rarely met any bud I didn't get along with, but there are certain effects that I would just love to exploit mercilessly.

@BuzzDanklin So, Buzz, what are you averaging on battery time, now that you've had several weeks to get a feel for it?

3-4 bowls seems to be about average, however I rarely fully kill the battery. Like today, I vaped 3 bowls, probably ~.6-.7g total and then when I got back home I threw it on the charger. It wasn't blinking yet, but I doubt it would have gone any further than 1 more bowl.

Battery life is affected a lot by the temps, I can vape more herb per charge with higher temps, but I enjoy the flavor more in the 3.5-4 area. With the lower temps comes more draws and then a longer session per bowl, so the battery dies faster then.

referring to different strains, you will definitely love having access to more when it gets to your state, I notice a huge difference in my energy level depending on the strain. Pineapple Express, and Space Jill have been two of my favorite so far for great active day strains. Neither one is incredibly potent, but just makes hiking/snowboarding/mtbiking a blast.

I have gotten to try Pineapple Express once, just 2 or 3 hits off of a joint that a buddy of mine rolled. It is some of the most potent I have tried, and those three hits were enough for me. I can't even imagine more potency than that haha

Yup. I get the most potent strains that are available in the dispensaries here in SoCal and 3 hits is about all it takes to get me to where I want to be. Tolerance has creeped up a bit 'cause it used to take only 2 hits.

Speaking of living in a non-legal state... I wonder how smell-proof the stainless steel case really is. Site says it's air-tight, but would it get past dogs? Ordered one because I like the concept of it holding both GH and small stash, also like the simple sleek design.

I've wondered that about the case myself. I didn't buy one, I prefer to find my own carry solutions, and that to me was a little too...obtrusive, if someone saw it. I also don't worry about dogs, over-much. I've seen trained police dogs walk right past places where I know for a fact there was herb stashed. Of course, maybe my county just has really lousy drug dogs...

Edit: Most police dogs aren't drug detecting dogs.

I'm not sure how it could be designed to be less obtrusive. Maybe to look more like a pen holder?

They were dogs being used to look for drugs, at the high school I went to, and they were on point, supposedly detecting, and walked right by the locker that had the stash. They might not have actually been drug dogs, it may have just been a scare tactic, I suppose.

I have a variety of strains, all homegrown. Taking 3 or 4 hits (from my UD) over an evening would be partying hard, often one big hit is good enough for me.

Yup. If anyone hasn't tried this yet, I highly suggest that you give it a go. Just make sure that the water isn't too hot that it will singe your lungs. Very, very warm works well.

For me, getting really nice visuals going is really strain dependent. Some strains, like White Widow, is much more visual than others but when I hear "psychedelic" it brings me back to my acid, shrooms, peyote days, and for me, no cannabis strain has been able to duplicate that.

For me, the best visuals from cannabis happens on the back of my eyelids. Some really intricate stuff going on that makes for a really nice show.

Closest I have come to that was with orange sunshine back in the late 60's. Tho I often get to a meditative state when immersed in nature. Will have to try the binaural beats. That's so cool you can astral project, I find that stuff fascinating.

For those who were wondering, I don't know if this means anything, but on the following new render of a color Ti GH that I saw on the updated official website it looks to me like the clip is not colorized, but I could be wrong, plus it's a rendering and not an actual picture. But in this drawing the clip is more colored like the internals than the body, at least to my aging eyes:
