In this pic from the website the clips seem to be the same color as the bodies. This is a rendering of the original colors and it doesn't mean things haven't changed since. But from it, we can see that the original design was for the clips to match the body.

You'd have thought that somewhere in almost 270 pages of posts, someone would have discussed the release date, but nope.

Yeah I just wanted to show it to say that the "original" plan was for the clip to match the body. We do know that since inception they have had issues keeping the design the same. The clip may be no different than the front end or any other part, it too may have changed. This includes being able to anodize the clip while keeping the desired specs.

This is hard because we all know that pictures may be worth a thousand words....but they often lie. The pic you couldn't post to me looks like it's possible that the clips may appear colored due to reflection. Lastly, it is also possible that the new pics showing the anodized color GHs may look different in real life when you finally see it in person. Or not. Who knows?

Also, while they may start shipping backers and pre orders in the next few weeks, current pre orders now estimte July, so expect an official retail release to be more like August at the earliest...

Oh, there's plenty to talk about, really anything except grasshoppers being in our hands.

And the release date HAS NOT been pushed back. For that to happen, there would have had to been a firm number, with a day, month and year attached to it. Everything I've seen has a month with no year, or a year with no month, or a year with no day.

Beats the line at DMV though.

You and I both, I bought the Mighty to replace my Solo and the Pax 2 to allow me to patiently wait for my Grasshopper.

I can't remember if the d020 or D020-D is the one to use with the grasshopper. Anybody remember?

I use the D020-D with both my LSV and my MiniVap. I'd think that the smaller D020 would be a better match for the GH.

I have the d020 and I love it. I'm debating whether I need the d020-d or not. I'd imagine the best bong for a grasshopper would be a 14mm so you don't need a reducer every time. Because the grasshopper puts out near desktop performance I might be kicking myself If i don't get a bigger piece. Does anybody have both the d020 and the d020-d? If so I'd like to see them next to each other for a size comparison.


Everybody has 10 vaporizers anyway it can't hurt to have 10 water pieces too.

I ordered the D020 and the D020-D, but they sent me the D021 and the D020-D I prefer the D020-D due to the smoother less chuggy draw.

good discussion here. since i watched buzz's video and saw how cheap these chinese water pipes are, im definitely gonna get one. just tough to decide which one would suit the grasshopper.

i also have a silver surfer i use at home, be nice to hook that up to the water pipe as well. i have a feeling the draw on the grasshopper will be similar to my SS, maybe a little harder.
