I really didn't care for this video.

Maybe it was that horrendous-looking "mouthguard" (god it's horrible) or the too-cool-for-school hipster dufus roommate (at least he was smart enough to not say much) and his idiot "ironic" hat (yeah, I understand why he's wearing it ), or the coughing, or the vibe, or the fact that the GH team seems to gear itself toward the "younger crowd" only, but .... yeah.

I'm not an old fogie or anything, but this really turned me off. Came across as a video for stoners only, IMO.

Best shit show I've ever seen! Haha seriously dude that was great, really can't get over those clouds, even on the low temps, incredible. Bravo Buzz, you guys are real troopers for powering through and trying to stick to the plan (though the reactions were some of the best parts, always great to really see the effects at work!). And the battery lasted that long! Much more than 3min of straight use, and certainly sessionable non-solo, managable heat with the silicone. I bet if none of the bowls went higher than 4.5 it wouldve lasted even longer. Imagine how long you can go if you stick with 4 or below, judging by my test, you can get many draws off 356f and still plenty more at 392f. This is going to be great temp stepping I imagine...

Just really thrilled with the low temp performance, I often like to stay below 400 if I can, and can see doing whole bowls at 3 or 3.5 during the day, but 4 and 4.25 seem really money for taste, number of hits, and ofcourse effects. The trifecta!

@EveryDayAmnesiac Buddy, you know this wasn't Hopper Labs right? this was just Buzz... And it was made based on feedback here and reddit... For stoners... He tried to be professional but explained himself quite adequately imo, this won't be his official video review either.

And I think the coughing is due to huge hits on high temp, this thing churns the clouds, that's how I cough on a Air/Solo high temp, and Firefly even too when sessioning, another reason I really appreciate this full spectrum temp control...

Additionally, his roommate is not a reviewer or a professional actor, but just I guy helping his frind with a useage video. So what's the problem with that?

And I think the Grasshooper will appeal to all users from 18 to 88.. And you refer to the word "Stoner" with a negative connotation. When I get my Hopper i'm going to vape the shit out of it and wave my stoner flag high!!!

I'm sure the GH team knew what they were doing when they offered him a unit for review.

There is no problem. I happened to not like it. I don't recall calling him a reviewer or professional actor.

In regards to the video, that cloud production was impressive.
What I didn't like though is the apparent need for that silicone sleeve. Kinda defeats the stealth factor when in use. Also, as with the other pics of abv that I've seen from the GH, it sure looks like theres a lot of black specs in there other than the abv from the lowest setting.

I'm sorry that I don't fall all over myself when a reviewer who runs an affiliated review site answers questions and puts out a video that makes people want to buy a particular vape.

Oh, I forgot. GH doesn't have an affiliate thing set up - yet.

I'm sure Buzz has good intentions - but c'mon, I think even he'd admit he doesn't make these videos or answer these questions out of the goodness of his heart. No offense, Buzz. I just happen to be cynical.

Like I said, I appreciate the video. I just happened to not like it. I know that's crazy difficult to believe, but there it is.

Neither would it be reasonably expected when sessioned this hard among two or more heavy hitters like Buzz & his champion buzzmate. I'd be more interested in a "non-review unit" being looked at by pretty much any FC'er.

Remember the "seasoned veterans" who reviewed the Ascent before it was released and it was the greatest thing since sliced bread? And then real reviews came in from actual "regular" units and their users and the shit hit the fan?

I really don't understand getting all excited at this point, but ... maybe I really am an old fogie.

If its being used for a hit it two at a time, I think it will stay plenty cool out and about. But yes we shall see...

Personally I think it doesn't affect the stealth factor at all, I think its just as stealthy if it didn't have it when in use. Your hitting a vape, if they see you hit a vape (and at the temp you'd probably need the sleeve, huge cloud exhaled) its clear, stealth comes from hiding it. The indica fits hidden in my hand, was easy to hit in midst of people, Hopper is small regardless, easy to hide. Pen form is more stealth when not in use imo, does nothing for while in use...

Oh @EveryDayAmnesiac, yeah I know what you mean. We won't really know until midsummer when these things are all out and about, but thats QC etc, I think what we have here is more general use. Like look it works/exists, its powerful, decent battery, etc. More than the early prototype ever got. The rest will come with time....

And I get you about the video and I know your style, but i do think some of your words were a little harsh here nevertheless. Yeah it gears up for pre orders whatever, if you believe you buy if you dont you wait. I guess its good to have "haters" so there can be multiple perspectives for the many uninformed visitors that never post... And none if us our shy about sharing our feelings lol. Personally I believe you will want one some day...

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the silicone sleeve either, but I think for one person spacing their hits out like every 40 seconds or so the heat wouldn't be an issue and the sleeve not needed. What do you think @BuzzDanklin?

Clouds were very impressive and ABV appeared uniform and what you would expect at each temp level.. No combustion...

The battery performed very well considering the heavy workout it was given. Buzz and his friend went through about a gram of material and a lot of times didn't turn it off between hits.

Obviously, the vapor is a little harsh at the 4.5 to 5 temp levels, but that's to be expected.

What impressed me was the ability to cash a load in very few hits. The clouds were amazing. The Grasshopper is a powerhouse wrapped in a small package!!

You are correct on this. This is a pre-production unit. It was not a unit that was pulled from a batch of units waiting to be shipped. It could have been tweeked to operate in a certain way. Maybe not. But either way, the units that will be eventually shipped to end users my be a bit different in how they perform. They may turn down the heat to eliminate the need for a sleeve and eliminate those black specs from showing up but that would also limit cloud production. The preproduction unit may have been tweeked to enhance cloud production.

That's why I state that we really need to see some normal production units in the hands of FC veterans here to more accurately judge how this vape is going to operate.
