I've always been intrigued by this but I never thought it was going to come out. People seems to be getting units now...are they all fro. The initial investments
Only one person has recieved one, Buzzdanklin a reviewer, you can check out his site for all the information. Everyone here is just speculating based off the given information - because it's fun to speculate. Everyone who pre-ordered are due to get theirs in May - as it says on the Grasshopper Site - check there for more info.

I was also looking at the PNWT, but I was concerned that the grasshopper would need to be nearly upside down while using it

Curious, which way do you consider upside down and which is right side up? I wouldn't think it really matters other than I'd rather keep the heater below the chamber to maybe minimize conduction.

Who? Where did you hear this? I didn't see anyone in this thread report they have it other than Buzz.

I guess there would be no "upside down" per se with a grasshopper.

I've got a solo, and am always careful to hold it what feels like "upside down", to prevent loose bits from falling onto the oven. With the grasshopper, I guess I won't have to worry about that as much (if at all.)

By the way, does anyone know where I could get a cheap bong adapter/stem for my solo? In case I ever wanted to use my solo again after getting my grasshopper... :-)

Yes, it would most likely be a 2-handed operation to be safe. But for road trips - I love this option - the PNWT knockoff is great to toss in an overnight bag and go

No clue, based on my experience, I'm guessing smaller than you expect (the pictures make it look big)

Ugly! lol still confused about that one. I guess it will work, never seen anything like it IRL
I could see you making a piece specifically for the pnwt....

I always worry about the Micro WT for the Pinnacle Pro and I have the original and not a knock off. It's dribbled water down into my units before and I didn't over fill. It's happened with 2 totally different water tools. I don't want to risk ruining my units.

I thought at one point the unit I was using was toast afterward but the vape finally started working again after about 12 hours. I always think a bubbler going hamster style with your vaporizer is safer. I very seldom use my Pnp WTs because of that issue.

Maybe Steven could make an improved version?

Thanks for the warning about the PNWT water dribbling issue. What's hamster style? - is that like making it look like when a hamster drinks from a fountain - have the pieces detached from eachother? Hadn't heard that term.

Well that's scary! I haven't had that problem yet! :uhoh:

Maybe I'll find a way to use a whip to pair the GH with my PNWT

Some solo stems are curved. Then, with the solo sitting on top, it looks like a hamster water feeder.

I think that makes my choice clearer.

I'm actually surprised at how many posts there are regarding the use of bubblers with the Grasshopper... The primary reason I'm purchasing a Hopper is for the stealth factor and out and about use without carrying a bunch stuff with me..

Wouldn't it make more sense to attach your bubblers and water tools to your home desktop unit? I'm sure the Grasshoper will work just fine attached to a bubbler, but it just seems strange to me why you would want to....

Lots of people don't have a home desktop unit. I don't.

I think you're looking at it backwards. I don't think anyone is getting a GH just to use with a bubbler; however, lots of people would like the option to use it with a bubbler when they're home. If it were me, even if I did have a plug-in device that paired nicely with a bubbler, I'd still want to hook up any other devices I had.

Actually, the grasshopper looks like the perfect shape and size to plug into the top of a bubbler, in case I want to vape through water.

With the apparent power of the Hopper, I could see using it instead of my desktop very often...

Thanks for enlightening me on water filtration with an ultra portable. It's not for me, but I can see how some like the versatility of using it with water sometimes. Also, as @pakalolo stated... Some people don't own desktop units.

I guess it's just me as I don't use water period even with my desktop units, but I'm not very sensitive to the harshness of vapor and can still blow major clouds without water... Ymmv.

Got some good news, the upload went REALLY well over night, it's telling me only ~300 minutes left on the upload. I am going to hop off the internet, and go run some errands and hope its done when I get back!
Hold on man! We want the full video at normal speed with replays in slow motion! :D

I too appreciate all the bubbler tips. I plan to use my GH for both home and away use, paired with bubbler only when home. Been scouring the net for one that's smallish, sturdy, effective & affordable @ 14mm.This one looks kind of cool like a little Alladin's lamp:

Also considering one @Ratchett suggested:

I prefer the Alladin aesthetics, but wondering if it would work as well?

It looks like the Aladdin one has a male joint. If so, you'd need to buy an adapter.
