So they think the word usage means standby? I guess thats an excuse...
Seems perfectly reasonable to me that they would consider in use to just mean device is turned on, that means battery is literally in use, engaged powering the device.
Inhaling is the difference, and they probably defined that simply as inhaling, not more broadly as use. Use is just the device is on, it is using energy by being on.
From Trevor's last response, it seems to imply at a low-mid temp, if you sip on it very slow and lightly, you could get much longer battery life than someone honking on it, like someone mentioned above.
And we know when they made those initial claims they knew less about the details of getting their product and company really going, ofcourse they went with those maximums for battery life. Now that they know better, and see what we expect, they're aiming to provide a more precise form if measurement. Bc in reality, based on draw, battery life will be different for everyone. It could even be different for every "session" you have.
As I said before this seems like its got some of the best elements of the Firefly, Elevape, and Thermovape, with a little crafty tech thrown in as well for the heater adjusting its power based on your draw. To me it seems like the best of many vapes, though there are ofcourse compromises, this still sounds more and more like my ideal on the go/out and about portable...
