Feb 29th blue order but no shipping notice yet. Did those of you who have recieved emails already pay for expedited shipping? (I didn't, so I wonder if they ship those first.) Really want to see that email...

Oh boy, I am very excited for this one. It just got through customs in Canada. Probably receiving it tomorrow. Went with USPS instead of FedEx because of the extortion letters that fedex sends to canadians.

In case you are a Canadian with a firefly 2 from fedex wondering what I mean, just wait, the letter is coming. $10 for fedex to bring it over the border and whatever amount they make up in taxes (seriously they have been known to fabricate the value of the product).

How did you get USPS shipping, that was not an option for me, only fedex ground and fedex express... In Ontario here. Also, the fees are legitimate, they are all in black and white on FedEx's webpage, it is not extortion.

. For the money this thing costs it should be a no brainier to plug in and charge. If I need to find specific cords, blocks, and power sources then this will definitely be getting returned.

I guess I was just wondering if anyone was having this issue or if it was only me. Apparently just me...Now I'm bummed I did come here because all I see are posts about everyone getting theirs and I know my replacement probably won't show up for another couple weeks.

I hope all of ya who ordered a FF2 are happy. I should have my red one tomorrow but I won't be doing a review for about a few weeks or until they get the shipment of blues so that way I can purchase all the colors asap. I'll be the only review on youtube that shows off all the colors so can't wait to bring ya that. My first vaporizer i ever bought was a OG Firefly so this Firefly 2 review will be special sorta like an anniversary type thing since my first review ever was the OG Firefly. Just remade an account here but I'll be posting pics all over my ig.. Stay wavy my friends

USPS was an option on the first day. I guess they removed it now. I consider it extortion because they made up the value of the product I imported. Vapexhale cloud evo. Got charged over $200 in taxes for a $500 purchase because fedex decided it was worth $1300.... and they charge an extra
$10 in "advancement fee", which they will agree to waive if you have a fedex account (which you can make on the spot).

There are many other stories like this on FC. Fedex just makes up a number and extorts you for it. Sends collection agencies and everything. It is totally extortion. Especially the added $10 in "advancement fee" that does not go to the CRA and that does not even have to be paid if you know the secret (ask to use a fedex account).

On top of all this, try to pay the fedex bill you receive.... guess what? they give you the wrong phone number on the bill. you cant even pay it. you have to be transferred to the right department. but they wont transfer you. you will likely get 3 different phone numbers from the rep, and only one will be able to process your payment. You will have to stay on hold for each one of these numbers until you get an operator to confirm you have the right department. It takes about 3 hours to pay the bill, and thats if its right, and you end up with an operator who knows what they are doing. do not hang up until you are assured its been paid. there are some reps that tell you they will send it off to be billed and you will get a receipt in a few days. that will never happen. you need it paid and over with while you are on the phone. If the bill is wrong, it takes about 2 years to have it corrected, all the while you have to deal with collection agencies trying to get the money.

Have fun. Personally, I will never use Fedex to import anything into Canada again.

I am super interested in fedex policy in Canada but where are the reviews??!! I have some sour D waiting for me tomorrow and promise will post my initial thoughts

Thx man I highly appreciate that. I'll probably do another hopper review but this time a purple one and I'll make sure to add anything I left out the other review. After I do the FF2 review I'll be doing my first ever vs review. The 2 insects of the vaporizer world Firefly 2 vs Grasshopper. We all know grasshopper wins #1 discrete vape out of any vape including the pax. Pax is nice and stealthy but nothing beats stealth like a pen can. We all know FF2 will win in every other catagory. BTW I see you are an aspiring glass smith I would love to see you're work one day if any.

What a coincidence, I also have sour diesel (29.9% THC) on the way :D. I will be sure to post a review when both firefly 2 and the medicine get here. I have an original firefly to compare to, and an android phone to get the app.

Oh shit! Feb 29 order and I just got my shipping notice for my blue FF2. FedEx with no estimated arrival date as of yet.

Fingers crossed for arrival by the weekend!

I'm trying to get it connected to my phone. Lol

Edit: Having trouble pairing it. Manual says it must be fully charged so I'm going to charge it up and then try it out.

It has to be fully charged in order for it to connect to the app?
I really hope that's just for the initial out-of-box start up. It has to be.

That wouldn't make sense, right?

It doesn't make sense to me. The Firefly shows up in the Bluetooth settings but the app doesn't see it. I'm just going off what the manual says now on page 12. Edit: Got it paired. It was a bit finicky as Bluetooth is sometimes. I had to keep opening and closing the app and it would appear in the list and then disappear. Finally got it to work. Cool!

I have some Sour I've been saving (with Boveda moisture pack, which work really well btw) for a few weeks waiting for FF2.

Ordered Blue on March 13. Got the "change to black" email but stuck it out with Blue after seeing post on here that Blue is shipping. Hoping to have in week or so!

First post here, been lurking for a while. Great forum with tons of info.

Android 6 and 6.0.1 is kinda wonky with bluetooth, it is a known issue and the symptoms are exactally as you describe. rest assured it is not your FF2 or phone hardware, just the current coding within marshmallow 6 and 6.0.1

Anyone have a lead on healthy tubing that is flexible?

Any other ways to pair?

Hey man, Amazon has medical grade silicone tubing you can get 10inches of 3/8inch tubing with 1/2inch inner diameter for like $15 and it can work to mod pretty much any vape to water. Should work with the FF2 no problem

Hope y'all enjoy them, shame about the defects but par for the course, hopefully it's a smooth launch! Looking forward to more user reports but I feel like I already know what to expect :tup:
