So I've been practicing using a water attachment with my FF2 and the potential is there but my results have been inconsistent. Generally I don't feel the need to use a water attachment at all with the FF2 as it usually just makes the taste worse, but with the advent of increased heating power incoming I want to get my water option up and running.
It is a bit harder for me to find the right draw using a water piece as the draw resistance is completely different, it's extremely light when using a water attachment.
I did manage to get an absolutely massive cloud when I took an extra long draw using the water attachment. This cloud was truly massive, easily rivaling large dabs taken from a nail.
I'm still getting better at using the water attachment but it is a bit finicky because there is no official water attachment tool.
So far I have 2 major issues using tubing to attach a water piece:
Issue 1: The tubing can pull the mouthpiece out of the FF2.
Unless you are extremely careful in handling the water piece and the tubing and the FF2 it is very easy to have your mouthpiece come loose or be pulled completely out while stuck in the tubing. This is difficult as it seems like you'd need 3 hands to hold the ff2, the tubing, and the water piece. Otherwise your only option is to use an extremely long piece of tubing which leads to my next issue.
Issue 2: The vapor path is extremely long.
The vapor path in the FF2 is already very wide and relatively long, but when you add tubing and a water piece on top the vapor path's length becomes ridiculous. I think this leads to more difficulty in learning the correct draw as well as it leads to less concentrated vapor as there's more room for air to get in the mix.
Even with those 2 issues and my ghetto-rigged setup I can still achieve massive clouds with the FF2 through water, even though the learning curve is even higher than using the FF2 dry.
Here's my FF2 Wishlist:
1. Water mouthpiece attachment
2. Glass concentrate pads
3. New Lid: no window, reduces heating chamber volume, possibly built-in stir tool
