That is awesome. I have seen a few videos of people hooking up the Q to a water bong. I would love to do this myself but I don't really know much about bongs. What kind do I need to fit the Q perfectly? Do I need a specific size? I am looking for something fairly small and not very expensive so I can test this method out. Any Suggestions? Thanks

I never liked BonG's!
The Waterpipes with a small mouth piece is what I like.
Some like the D020-d I don't have one because my FC 187 has the same can size.
My favorite is a ASH COLLECTOR & JHOOK for me!
I'm more medical so my opinion is what it is!

Thanks for the info Kelly. I checked out the small water pipe and I love it. But again I am very new to this, so how exactly would I hook up the Q to this device? Also I do have the new All Glass setup for the Q, so does this matter? Your the best...

@flman99, that bubbler is very common as it is cheap, but performs well and is of relatively good quality for a Chinese made peice, I'm sure most will agree with me on that....
As for the things you will need, you should have received 2 elbows with your eq right?????
Just connect them via the tube that also came with the eq....
Then one end will have basket of herb loaded into it, and go on top of the cyclone.....
The othe end goes into the 18mm ground glass, female joint on the bubbler....
And away you go....

Oh so basically, I just connect the Hose from the EQ to the bubbler area where the bowl normally goes correct? It sounds very simple lol. Am I missing something? Thanks for all your help, it is greatly appreciated.

Your more than welcome, happy to help.....
You can cut out the middle man, (the whip and elbows), and do this....
The bubbler comes with the correct adapter to achieve this.....

I just got my used DDave modded EQ in the mail today. I broke out the newest all glass Arizer whip, loaded a basket in one end and a 10mm balloon in the other. Had a DDave 18 short warming up while I did this so I could just pop in the whip balloon and watch it fill. Works just as nice as I expected. Just pull the bag when it's full and drop it into a 14/10 adapter in a small 14 female bubbler and we in business!!!
Also tried the DDave 18/18 with my 18/14 reducer and a little Pinnacle hydrotube. Also wonderful, and of course you don't have to turn the Eq upside down.
Tried the DDave 18/14 with a 14 stem. Got a little carried away with packing a slug of bud. Had to pull so hard it ended up in my mouth. Hmmm, guess that screen is useful...
Fun device. The smaller capacity bag system should save me herb and the all glass is super efficient and easy to use. Thanks for all the advice I absorbed while lurking in the shadows and reading up; Happy Camper here....

But between the different sized gg (ground glass) joints, and range of adapters and reducers, you can pretry much mate anything to the eq......
The new all glass mini whip system utilises a 10 mm gg joint, maybe this is confusing you....
I personally wouldn't put vapour in a bag before water, or at all......
But many do....

Just as counterpoint, many of us prefer 14mm female joints on our bubblers. Usually the bigger glass is 18. My little MFLB orbiter is 14 as is the Pinnacle hydrotube. If you even peripherally get into this you'll find yourself collecting an amazing collection of glass adapters or just send DDave $65 and get 'em all at once. Traditional mating of the EQ was with a whip but I think the more modern (and direct) approach is to mate the water directly either Hydratube style or turn your EQ upside down as above pictures show. You'll have fun no matter how you do it...
Alright I think I got the hang of all this sort of lol... I wish someone had a few pictures, I am better at learning through visualization. So If I purchase the D020-D9 Water Pipe, do I need a male attachment to attach the hose from the EQ into the Pipe for a tight fit or will it attach to it without the need of anything else? I just don't want to purchase all this and then find out I did something incorrectly. Thanks everyone for all your help with this. I am def a newbie and trying to learn all this new info about Vapes.

You can make it work. I tried different variations of stock eq parts and ddave mod kit parts (which did work ok) but ultimately ended up buying an adapter off planetvape that's meant to let you take hits from an easy valve bag through a waterpipe. Works just as well in reverse and provided a better seal than anything else I tried.

I would not recommend using the EQ inverted. If I remember correctly it can affect the electronics, don't quote me but I was advised against it by a few people with more knowledge than me. As for glass I have found 18mm clear much faster than 14mm & the EQ runs off 18mm joints anyways. That said I mostly use 14mm these days as I can always pair it with a 18/14 adapter.
If you do have the misfortune to use bags I recommend using Vape Bags brand. They are tapered & considerably higher quality than the ones Arizer supply.

I tested this and I can assure you the electronics don't get exposed to any extremes of heat within this time frame...
@flman99 sunshinestores on dhgate is trustworthy...... I think you would struggle to find what you need for your budget, elsewhere.....
Although people are beginning to stock budget bubblers now....

@kellya86 We are at our coldest time of the year down here in South Australia. My wife, my daughter and I are living at my mothers house for a few months while we wait for the next place to be available - I haven't been relegated to the shed, I'm hiding out there trying to regain some sanity lol.
I won't be able to experiment with the EQ until Monday. I'll be away 4 wheel driving for a few days, might even encounter some snow!

You probably feel similar about Danger as I did about Buddy leaving, better to keep a champion like Sloan & Roughy than pay overs. Hopefully Danger will win as many flags as Buddy has at Sydney! Obviously hoping for a Fourthawn year but if they can't do it I want to see GWS or the Crows do it & I would certainly be up for a Skype on GF day
