@biohacker
I was doing some side by sides with Herbie and the EQ these past few days, it's tough but someone has to do it!
While i am not going to post a public review because everyone is different and i really don't feel like backing up everything i say with science facts... I will reveal a few juicy bits IMO!
First off the temps used:
Herbie i go straight to MAX (229)
EQ is start at 198 and end at around 210.
( I guess that the EQ's reading is about 20 degrees C off, based from the ABV from Herbie)
The set up:
EQ
Herbie
The EQ is a BEAST! If you have about 15 minutes to let it heat up correctly and then allow a heat soak for the load, you will be blown away by the potency of this device.
The first hit is amazing, with great flavour and taste and nice dense cloud of vapour.
Subsequent hits are almost as good but the flavour decreases rapidly as you go along.
While i love my Herbie, it could not produce the same effects as the EQ.
However, if you are after some seriously tasty and super smooth hits, the Herbie is the better choice IMO.
Flavour lasts throughout the whole session and the clouds are great.
The ABV comes out a straw or light brown color, i can get it darker but it takes a lot of work and not too much vapour is produced any more.
Now the important part for me: EFFECTS
I am down to 2 EQ baskets per night and am sleeping 8 hours straight.
I still get massive clouds and great taste and the bowl needs a stir towards the end but the ABV comes out a nice medium brown.
I also find that i do not need to vape in bed before sleeping when using the EQ, so a bonus load for the next day!
With Herbie i find i still toss and turn and wake up often.
I am using about 4 to 5 bowls per night and they hold a lot more than an EQ basket...
Amazing flavour and taste and awesome clouds!!
Very clean high that i find great for day time use.
My EQ has proven to be a worthy vape to keep for me!
Simple, effective and cheap!
Can't wait to have an EQ challenge vape-a-thon with you!
