ALSO!!!! I actually have a bit of friggin information to give as well, I'm not just randomly raving. I got my Extreme Q 4.0 (the one with the blue UFO light and shit) off Ebay as well. I was skeptical as shit because at first there weren't ANY BIDS. But then within a couple hours they started flying off. I gave it a go and after an intense bidding war won at $173.00. I've seen these things not go any higher than $199. That's FUCKING BRAND NEW. In the box with shrink wrap and a kiss from the manufacturer. Most of these ebay stores hold authorized reseller status and some are just selling stock from a store that went under. Either way is fine with me. But yeah it feels gangsta to buy a brand new vape that goes for $300 new for $170
So my advice is this:
(1. Check the seller's sell count and rating. Don't buy from anyone with a rating of less than 99%. Also don't buy from a seller that doesn't have a perfect 100% rating if they have less than 15 sells.
(2. Double check the titles AND descriptions for it to clearly state "ARIZER EXTREME Q". Some sellers have been trying to sell V-Towers as Extreme Q's.
(3. Check to see if the seller states that they are an authorized reseller. Exreme Q's are guaranteed FO LYFE but they won't send you a new vape when yours breaks if you buy it from Uncle Yu's garage bootlegs. So make sure the reseller actually says they are a authorized reseller. And if you want, message them and ask them for verification or ask if they would mind you asking Arizer if they are an authorized reseller and under what business name they are listed.
(4. Once you've found a vape and reseller you're happy with, just set your bid price to $199. I watched the auctions on these things and they generally close at somewhere between $180 - $195. You can do the "Buy It Now" option on these things for $199 usually, but that's not any fun
If you can get this for under $200 you're already stealing, so just set your bid price to $199 and you'll ultimately win and if it ends up lower that's great too.
(5. Beware the shipping scam. Alot of these sellers will want something to appear to be enticing, so they'll set it with a really low list price, but fill it out by padding the shipping cost. What I mean by padding is it's very common to see people asking between $8 - $20 to ship a small item with priority USPS mail. If you can avoid this (like I did, I received mine 2 days after winning it and paid NO SHIPPING) then that's definentaly the best way to go. But if you can't always add that into your final price. If it goes over $200 with the shipping you probably can do a little better.
Woowwowoowowowow. I'm in the stratosphere.
Happy vaping peoples.
