I just ordered my Q about an hour ago and I can't wait till it comes next week; it'll be the perfect addition to my spring break coming up. Never having had a vaporizer before, and only having vaped a couple times, this forum really helped me finalize my decision on which one I should buy. Thanks everyone.

Been using my Q as an aromatherapy diffuser and it does an awesome job. After my sesh i'll just put a bunch of drops of organic essential oils on some potporri and set the Q to about 200-220 which coincidentally is my vaping temp and you can just see the streams of essential goodness go into the air. It smells up my entire house...i like orange or peppermint. smells so wicked! It's amazing just how versatile this machine really is.

Drooling for the portable when it ever comes out!

For me personally this is a huge bonus for the Q. If I don't use it to "freshen" up my house, even though it's just vapour, it makes my house smell like weed...kinda like unburned fresh herb. I don't want my house smelling like that and I don't like artificial air fresheners so I through the essential oils in and it makes everything smell so AWESOME!

Actually now that I think about it, I have heard people blowing through paper towel tubes stuffed with fabric softener sheets. Might help reduce the weed smell a little.

Ya vape4life , the diffuser thing through a TP tube and a bounce sheet works pretty good, used to use one when I first started vaping cause the GF would complian about smell . I can use my iolite right beside her and she dont bitch about smell , with the "Q" , I use the aroma diffuser with some potpourri and a couple drops of scented oil after a session and now she love the Q as much as I do.

Another thing I just wanna touch on is vaping temps , I started aound 200 at first with this thing finishing 250 . After a couple of days of experimenting with lower starting temps , starting at 160 , with last bag at 250 , with a half full lite pack cyclone bowl , I've been able to get 16 bags from 1 bowl, fucking amazing.
This thread got me thinking so I will keep playing -

First, Nice Glass!

Clearly I am new here. Ive smoked for 6 months now and love it. about a month ago I was sick of going to the gym and having my lungs fried. I introduced myself to the EQ, best investment I have made to this lifestyle!

Anyways, where do you guys get your oils at? and how do you apply it?

Im vaping at 165 right now off the whip for an hr+ and all I did was pack half the elbow. I love this thing!

Just received some of the Tygon 3350 tubing from USplastics for my Extreme. I've triple checked that this stuff is safe (any confirmation?) because when I pulled it out of the box its SO much more flexible than the stock tubing, a definite plus in my book.
Also, the color threw me a little since I was expecting clear, its see thru but definitely darker than the previous.
Lastly, straight out of the box its pretty dirty, seems that this will pick up a lot more dust particles than the other (someone mentioned this in the Extreme tubing topic so I feel better).
Any recommendations before I rig this up? Should I clean it (with H20 of course) first? Hope this is an appropriate place to post...

Why is 420 such a popular marijuana number?

The term originated from a group of teenagers at San Rafael High School in San Rafael, California, United States in 1971.[1][2] The teens would meet after school at 4:20 p.m. to smoke marijuana at the Louis Pasteur statue.
According to an April 2009 article on the The Huffington Post, the group called itself the Waldos because its members hung out by a wall after school. Writer Ryan Grim, citing interviews with anonymous Waldos, claims that the group met by the statue at 4:20 p.m. to begin a search for a crop of unguarded cannabis growing near Point Reyes that they had heard about. They never found the stash, Grim writes, but smoked plenty of marijuana while looking for it.

Well that changes the significance of my find and exposes my ignorance, for true.



But, so as to re-rail the sidetrack...


I got my ExtremeQ a couple months ago now.

I love it. Love the bags, love the whip. Love everything about it, I think.

I use it mostly at 215c and sometimes a little higher, but not often.

Anyway, one day i was playing with the different options on the Extreme, and I switched the temperature gauge from Celsius to Fahrenheit as i dropped the temp from 220-215 c.

And it turns out.

The best temperature to vaporize Marijuana on my EXTREME Q is 420 degrees Fahrenheit. Unfortunately, the Extreme-Q seems to adjust in units of 5 degrees Celsius, so hitting 420 on the nose isn't possible. I settle for 419 and enjoy.

If I remember the story right, it was a meeting time after school that a certain group of kids would get together to smoke. They were not going straight home but rather meeting up at one place... "Meet at 4:20 by the statue." It was a good ol' fashioned daily smokeout.

16 bags on a half full bowl light pack? Dude, either you have a SUPER Q or SUPER herbs! I don't think i'd get much more than a bag or two off that! Ofcourse i'd never bother going down to 160 to start. Min. 200 for me, otherwise I find the vapour way too light.

for a kick ass elbow pack i just jack it to 230c , fan 1 , get 2 nice bags , havent tried gradual vaping yet with elbow packs , still screwing around with various screen depths for the elbow.


vape4life - ya , running 2 different strains right now , the one is bc big bud , bone dry , vapes beautiful , thats what i got all my bowls with , my other kind , little more fruity , but doesnt vape as long maybe 9 bowls , but all in all still fucking with temps to stretch da weed , gives me an excuse to go chronic

I also find with this batch of BCBB that you dont build tolerence too much to it either , but I agree it , Ive seen better quality BB before.

Hi Guys. I bought my Extreme Q from thevaporman.com a couple weeks ago. It was one of the best purchases I made until just now. Not sure what happened to it. It was working fine yesterday. I went to turn it on and the screen flashes for a sec when I hit the power button (on the unit or on the remote) and then nothing. The green light on the AC adapter is pulsing, but I'm not sure if it's been doing that all along.

I love vapeing and dread the thought of inhaling smoke again. Has this happened to anyone else with their Extreme Q?
