I use my IQ and Mighty about equally often and enjoy them equally. Thus, I'd say they're on par.

I bought aa Davinci IQ 2 weeks ago.....Mighty and crafty have been my BEST tools over the last 2 years...The IQ is definitely NICE..... You will be HAPPY with the Davinci IQ...trust me on this...
I am making a guess but to me 3 weeks is the worst I've seen, but lately 1 1/-2 weeks is the improved rate at the moment.
From NV to NC it takes 5-6 days for shipping once you get a shipping tracking number for USPS.

Hey there! So once we receive your vaporizer back for warranty the process can take from 7-10 business days before your Vaporizer is shipped back. With most warranty claims we first attempt to repair the device. If the issue with the vaporizer is not able to be repaired then we replace your vaporizer with a whole new kit.
If anyone is currently in the middle of their RMA process please send me a DM and I can give you a status update.

What's the best way to get vapor in this vape? It's a hit or miss for me, if you know, please give me exact step by step on how to get the most vapor. I run it thru water at 430F and it is only "milky" for a couple of seconds.

Try deleting the app and downloading it again. This worked for me when my phone couldn't link to the new iq I received, good luck

From my few days of experience I've noticed that you need to really pack the herb in the oven/bowl/herb chamber to get nice milky hits ... like I take my pinky finger and compact it into this chamber until full and pretty compact then close the door (which takes a little force to get the pearl in place). At this point the hits are super milky but draw is somewhat restricted so I don't know how well it'll work with a water tool. Also, your bud plays a big role. Buds with high trichome/resin content will produce the most vapor.

I tried switching from burning to vaping about a month ago, i first bought the IQ, i liked it, but i didn't like it enough to switch completely.
I then bought the Grasshopper, which is nice, IMO performs better than the IQ, but is a pain to use at home on a daily basis. The battery life and chamber size are just to small.
I got the mighty last week, and IMO it is the only one of the three that is worth the asking price, and that i would consider using on a daily basis.
Since getting it i haven't used a lighter, couldn't say that when i had the IQ and GH only.
I am keeping the IQ as a travel vape, and the GH as a stealthy one, but i can't see myself using them at home now that i have the Mighty. It is just that much better.
Chamber is larger, battery life is better (on a single charge), less draw resistance, vapour quality and quantity are better, cooler bigger hits, the mighty also deals with being used with glass much better... When the IQ struggles to whitewall anything other than a small bubbler, i just cannot get the mighty to falter.
Lastly, cleaning is much easier. IMO the IQ is a pain to clean, and the inaccessible area in between the oven and "flavour chamber" is just poor design.
Literally the only thing the IQ is better at is heating time and the ability to swap batteries.
More importantly, i didn't have to join a forum and complain publicly to get S&B to answer my emails...

One final question (I hope). So I received my tracking number for my new device yesterday - shipped priority mail via USPS. However, I entered the tracking number on the USPS website this morning, and it can't be found. I read online that USPS recycles tracking numbers. It could also be a case of USPS not having the package yet. Anyone else experience this?

Have to disagree. I have the IQ, the Grasshopper, and the Crafty, and have used the Mighty for an extended period. IME the IQ is the superior Vape of these choices.
I would rank their performance as follows:
1- IQ
2- Grasshopper
3- Mighty/Crafty
And I'd throw the Milaana in above the Mighty/Crafty as well.

Time to review the IQ after getting it in the mail yesterday.
First my friend warned me to turn it on before putting any herb into it to burn off residue oils from the factory. The moment I turned it on for the first time it made this weird clicking sound that would not stop until I turned it off. This clicking sound also reappeared when trying to vape it while charging.. WHY?!?!
After turning it off, I began to pack the chamber and packed it to the brim. I quite liked how the pearl squished everything down in the chamber to make it very tight. Fast forward three hour later after dinner and I go over to my neighbor's house whose parents were not home. It was me and three other friends who were going to try it for the first time.
The beginning of the sesh went well among us or the first few minutes until I realized the IQ suddenly shut off on itself when passing it to then next person in rotation. This pattern was pretty evident for the remainder of the sessions that night. I'm not sure why this happens spontaneously but I am curious if anyone else has ran into this problem? Another thing that was pretty alarming on how mother fucking hot this vape gets in your hands around +10 minutes (I know it is supposed to shut off in 10 mins so is it bad if I go past the 10 mins in a session???)
Besides the random shut offs, it was a great vaping experience, my friends and I were really taken back by the robust flavor in the beginning 1 and 2 smartpaths. From 2-4 smartpaths, the clouds of vapor were tremendous and not rough which made it enjoyable so that the air flow resistance of vapor is low which is a definite plus!!!
Anyways, the Davinci IQ is a great vape that is comfortable in the hand, has a sleek design, produces great vapor that tastes yummy, easy to draw from, and works well in large groups which is important to me.

I'm beginning to feel this way too. It took me a bit to realize that the IQ needs to start at a higher temp than the Mighty, but on reflection that makes sense given the IQ is a conduction vape. Also pertinent is the fact that the IQ works best if you let it idle for a minute or so after it hits target temp so that the whole load is conducting heat.
Once you get the subtleties of the IQ down it does indeed rival the Mighty, and that's really saying something since the Mighty is about as close to a desktop vape that you can get.
Are the batts you bought button top?

Yeah they are not the flat top. I didn't realize when I was buying that the picture on their website was a flat head battery.
I'm thinking of buying three Sanyo NCR18650GA 3500mAh 10A Flat Top Battery from IMR soon. Thinking these should work based on what people have posted in this thread.

My Davinci IQ arrived yesterday (needed a new flower vape, was using name-brand whip style that I retired before xmas), and I have been using the IQ last night and today.
I love it love it love it.
The flavor profile is...amazing. I have never had such a clear expression of a plant's terps in flower - I have only been vaping one strain, but I am very familiar with it (ind. dom. Green Crack, ie - Green Crush), and I can taste *everything*. Every flavor is magnified and clarified, wow.
I am seriously digging on the zirconium pieces. Very nice. I prefer the extended, definitely seems to cool the vapor significantly. (Although the recessed one is nice because you can stand the IQ on that end to load, can't with the extended one obviously)
I like SmartPath #2 (370-390) . I started with the default of SmartPath #3, but I like the flavor better on #2 and have stayed there.
I will be trying some other strains this weekend to see the comparison. I haven't used the app yet - I think I would like to tighten a ten minute session's temps to 375-386. But I could do that with precision mode anyway.
I love the weight of the IQ (some portables almost feel too light, although some are more like I am holding a power tool) and absolute portability of the IQ around the house. Plus it's very discreet (used to have a plug-in whip-type that was compact, but still couldn't be out in the open with tight-arses around).
The thing is easy to load, empty, and clean. Wow. Just nice and straightforward.
I did notice it seems to get too hot to hold for long at higher temps (400+). As in, actually uncomfortable enough that I sit it down between hits. But the extra clouds above 390F seemed pointless, and flavor degraded more than I wanted, so it's been SP #2 or a straight 386F-ish session.
I saw all the problems folks had using it plugged in, so I appreciate seeing that in advance and avoided it. I wasn't feeling that doing so was a great idea anyway - charging a 3500mah battery while hot is outside of my comfort zone. i got the external charger and an extra battery as well. (The extra won't fully charge - I contacted Davinci)
I decided to order the spacers, I really only need about 3/4 of the oven capacity for one good session (although I have been tending towards letting a full oven cover 2 shorter sessions).
Overall, I am seriously happy. 9/10 in my book.

Exactly - and it's not like it takes any technique or arcane knowledge to figure out the IQ. It's the ultimate autopilot vape. If you understand how conduction heating works, those subtleties should be obvious.
Convection vapes tend to require more technique and careful control of breathing.

You guys should try some LG H2G, IMO i get better results with them than with the Sanyo.
Seems the vape stays consistently cooler with the LG and i don't seem to be getting noticeably less battery life from the smaller capacity.

Yeah, this is what my IQ came with. I just ordered 2 more because the IQ wont heat up with Sony 30 amp batteries at all (VTC5, VTC4 or VTC3). It vibrates and displays battery life when trying to turn the unit on using the Sonys but then the leds go black and nothing happens.

clicking sound is from the vape checking itself to see if it's the correct temperature. Only true precision vapes like this vape will make that clicking noise. It's perfectly normal.
