So after my 2 day delivery took a week. Finally got mine in the mail today only to be disappointed, unit came in with no perl.
Yes, I'd love to see a sleek protective cover for the IQ, almost like a sleeve - just thick enough to protect the device from minor scratches/dings. I believe the Pax has one that looks nice.
Also, I'm waiting on my warranty claim - you guys will receive the unit in mail today. Sending a few glass spacers with my new unit would be pretty cool since I had to pay to ship a faulty unit from Washington DC to Las Vegas. Also, are units typically being replaced entirely by brand new units, or are the old units being repaired? Mine had trouble recognizing a battery charge - would turn off as soon as I power on the unit.

What should I be doing with my Flavor chamber after a solid month worth of useage? I'd think to clean it like I normally do each month but if I'm not mistaken, the "Gunk", when collected has to be potent enough to do some damage on their own in some way shape or form.
I'm new to this, with the IQ being my first ever vape, so forgive me if this seems like a noobish question but I'm still learning as I go and enjoy this new experience and all that. I think someone said that they dunk it in milk and leave it for a bit and I'm sure someone said something along the lines of making hot chocolate with it.

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of what the pearl supposed to do as far as heat distribution to the chamber. From what I read about the Pearl and Davinci IQ and the early developments of the IQ they were having a problem with heat distribution until they the Pearl. Just my 2¢.

At this point, I not only have to show reviews, I have to give a presentation showing why I need a new unit. I'm not the original person you quoted, just wanted to share.
And to answer the question of how many, I stopped counting after it hit 15. Now I just keep it listed on here and on my phone so I don't loose track. Hoping to add a few more to the list very soon.
I don't think they would be sending you the post. The pearl kits do not have posts on them. So unless they ripped one out of a new unit I don't think it will have the post.
When are you expecting to get more posts in? Any possibility of making it easy to request a replacement? I could see a lot of posts being broken in the future, so it would be nice to be able to either order an extra one or have an extra post sent out to your buyers on record? I'm actually really surprised that the pearl doesn't come with a replacement post, I mean you sell all the other replacement parts (stem and flat mouthpiece, silicone piece for the mouthpiece, pearl, and you used to have flavor chambers for order I believe).

The glass spacers are just ok in my opinion, they do their job, but I would have designed them like the cap of the flavour chamber, so you can use the tool to pick the (hot) spacer out.
At the moment i use the iq without the pearl (i ripped the post). I use both of the glass spacers + the cap oft second flavour chamber. Instead of the pearl i use the ripped pearl post upside down. this way you can do tiny microdoses, but a pack still lasts for a whole 10min session

that is a legitimate microdose indeed, I will have to try it. Is it not easier to just use both spacers and then the pearl instead of the post? Is it because then the door wouldn't close?the ripped post upside down is my pearl replacement and it keeps my triple spacer in place. It is same rubber material like the whole post. I use the post upside down, because it has a little "platform" where it used to be fixed. hope you understand

I have had the IQ now for a few weeks. Holy cow!! This thing is amazing and a beast!
I looked back some pages but I didn't see anything concerning the battery light.
I plugged the IQ in to charge but used it while charging. Now, the battery light stays on after the unit is turned off. Anyone have suggestions?
I've also used the unit while charging back before I purchased an external charger, now I know not to do this again. This isn't a case of conflicting opinions I'm certain it'll be attended to. Good luck in getting this resolved, just try to be patient. If you have a ticket number for your CS inquiry you should PM it to @Davinci_vaporizer so he can speed it along.I have the same problem of the battery light remaining on when the unit is off. Like you, I used it while charging. Did you manage to find a solution for this issue? I did do a hard reset but it did not solve the problem.

How long did it take to receive your unit from their factory in Las Vegas after the warranty process? I'd love to speak to a DaVinci rep if possible.

The IQ is way sexier, way stealthier and way cooler than the Mighty or Crafty. Those three things aside...Mighty or Crafty by a mile. No contest IMO.Looking to get a new portable, kinda interested in the IQ, im looking to replace my dead crafty. How does this compare to the crafty or the mighty for those who have used both? Thanks
