Thanks @CentiZen, you're early review has already got me leaning towards getting in on the BF sale while I can. Thinking I can sell my Solo if this has more convection properties...

But now that the temps changed again I have mixed feelings. I love the lower temp like the Indica has, but am disappointed by the exclusion of 383 now. Does it seem like missing setting 4 on the Solo would be tough on the Air?

Really digging the new stems too, screw on wood mouthpieces and WPA adapters would be awesome. And I love @DieHard's idea about the cotton, I bet these collect even more oil with that small mouthhole.

@CentiZen can you post any videos of you using it? You would get a ton of hits ;-!

I might be able to get one made in the next little while, otherwise I'm sure we will see some other users posting videos soon enough. There are some members here who have much better video setups than I do.

@CentiZen
Have you tried putting the mouthpiece into a 14mm joint?

I hadn't tried it and I hadn't even really intended to, but I just tried and it was a perfect fit! Awesome!

Thanks @CentiZen

I haven't really missed it to be honest.

No, these use rechargeable batteries that are larger than AA's. You might find these at stores that sell heavy duty flashlights or vape equipment, but they aren't usually available in stores.

@Ed's TnT wood screw-on MP's. YES. Might even have to buy one to use with my Solo since they are interchangeable.

I'm actually thinking about getting an Air to replace my pax. It's good and gets the job done but it's not very efficient, the taste isn't great, lots a draw restriction, and the high setting comes a bit too close to combustion. I don't even use the avb because it smells weird and is practically black. Not to mention the maitenance and sticky mouthpiece.

Not really a very glowing post on the Pax, I guess. Almost in the "Otherwise, how was the play, Mrs. Lincoln?" class...... Not going to sell many with testimonials like that. IMO this (ability to get stuff squeaky clean and start fresh as often as you'd like) is a Solo strong suit, one I'm sure will carry over.

Omg I feel so dumb ahahahahah lmao

Don't sweat it.

I gotta think that a different style stem. Like something with a basket screen would drastically reduce airflow restriction. Judging by the tiny holes in the stem pics you posted @CentiZen.

"Yeah, but...." (isn't it always?) if it's a balance as Kevin (?, the factory guy....) said, reducing restriction would call for increasing it elsewhere to preserve the balance??? That is the total is what they adjusted it to?

@OF so what your saying is it may not work as proficiently if the restriction at the stem end was lessened? Makes sense.

@exit when you receive yours let me know how it works using your JoDa pieces. Plz and Ty.

I soooo just wanna try one. Damned Christmas! Damned kids! Lol ikidikid

@VaPeD&CoNfUsEd no worries I got you. I also plan to do a comparison video thru my stemline (which I must clean tonight) of my ceramic m104 solo vs the air, although I lack a good video setup.

I remember this was mentioned once but just to let everyone know again before anyone gets too excited using non standard batts.

The Air uses a high-drain 18650 cell that has been made specificallyfor use with the Arizer Air. The use of counterfeit and/or inferior-quality lithium batteries can cause internal shorts leading to fires and/or explosions which can result in property damage and/or personal injury. The use of third partybatteries could greatly reduce run time/output performance, damage your Arizer Air, constitute a safety hazard and voids all warranties. If you have any

If you have any further questions please feel free to ask!Best Regards,

I'm not sure if using some nicer 18650 like the sony vtc would allow safe operation but unless I can measure and understand the Airs power consumption I would not use a non stock battery... Additionally I assume Arizer would have a reason for choosing a nonstandard battery chemistry for their batteries.

I still plan to wait until I see Air gear on puff it up before I buy more batteries or other accessories. Perhaps Arizer will release a screw on 18mm joint.

Two things I've learned since joining FC is particulates are your enemy and I never want to buy silicone tubing again.

True!!!!

gold all in my chains...dont believe me just watch
So if the solo stems fit in the air, the air stems should fit in the solo.

Keep the solo in your car (pre-club) and the air in your pocket (for inside the club). New stems should add stealth to your solo also...but that's a bunch of stuff to carry...

When getting patted down by the bouncer, what do we say? It's a portable battery charger? Looks almost like a mace-spray thingy...especially in the hip pouch.

But that's just me trying to pick it apart for negatives...

Anyone have a really good setup to vape out on the town for a night? I noticed that I pack my solo, 1 stem, and 2 of those clear flip-top plastic disc cases for pre & post vape (can fit about 4 stems worth), my volcano brush, my mflb, and a 4 pack of nimh batteries in a plastic holder all inside of a Tom tom zip up gps case. When it's time to go out, I just prepack the mflb & grab a battery or 2. The rest doesn't go inside the venue with me. But that's a lot of work to do & NOT pocketable...

This might simplify to pre/post vape holder, air, & stem...

Any suggestions for a better travel-setup?

Also the only settings I use on the solo are #3 (to sample taste) and #5 (i use this to be where I need to be fast cuz i believe that 200'C is what is standard in all the scientific research papers I read about vaporizers...but i haven't read one in more than a year). So that translates to #2 & #3 on the air...i can dig it.

They certainly do, quite nicely I might add.

Well if your not shy; I find that with this particular shape of object you can usually get away with a little giggle and wink and saying "Do you really want to know?"

You don't live near San Francisco, do you? Try that one once too often around here and you're going to get 'I can take a dare, can you?'........ Size Queens everywhere these days. IMO, a conversation best avoided if you don't want to have your bluff called.

Best have a plan of some sort of course, you're not likely to come up with something good on the spur of the moment.
