Just got out of class and went to a bench and Air'd, no one knew of course. All this talk of people's seshes want me to describe how mine normally go. I always use the domed screens in both the acrylic tipped and all glass stems, but my all glass is my favorite. I suck up bud from my grinder or hand broken up, but won't typically use my Air if the bud is too dry or not sticky at all, as it seems to not vape efficiently and will char a bit. I pack it down just enough to maintain shape in my bowl, then tip it upside down to make sure nothing falls out.
I put the stem in immediately after turning on the Air, normally set to blue or white. I'll get quite a few great hits on blue/white, about 4-5 of these... and once it starts thinning or tasting a bit mediocre, I'll push it up to green. I'll get about 5 more hits out of this, but towards the end the vapor isn't truly satisfying and leaves a resiny feel to my lips (the mflb did the same thing to me towards the end of a trench). Once I can't produce vapor, or the herb tastes pretty bad, I cash it.
I typically don't "sip", I do one long draw, or I'll do one half-long draw, pause, then finish the draw...or cut it into 3rds, especially for those really long hits, we don't want that vapor thinning throughout your hit.
The top layer of my ABV will always be darker than the remainder, but not by much, and the remainder is most always throughouly vaped. I wish I could get a perfect burn all the way through, but I can't...and the fact that the top is a bit darker means the taste gets bad before it legitimately should be, I don't want to stir for several reasons not worth mentioning.
Despite the well function of the Air, I don't get absolutely satisfyingly stoned unless I do two stems (and maybe not even then sometimes). One is great when considering the convenience of the high, but it doesn't always get me there like my E-Nano can. It reminds me more of the flight box high, just a bit stronger, but still has that "portable" feeling high. Anyone else experience this or understand that feeling?
All in all....love this product
