So far the details are not adding up. I am waiting for additional information. I would prefer not to speculate any further."Seems a bit suspicious to me."

Ive just been sent this on IG by a friend. Havent looked into the source etc but thought id share here, please take with a pinch of salt till we know more.
I dont own an angus but have had my finger on the trigger since the release. Just got a second hand TM1 to hold off the vas but i need a new session portable for watching telly with. My crafty is tired and old…..
Hope y'all are happy. Been worried and warning about that outcome based on how YLL was treated for weeks. Good work gang.Yes Mike is done with FC. I have provided the mods some of his feedback as to why.

And good bye dialogue with yet another manufacturer who found FC too toxic. A shame because that dialogue has consistently been one of the things that has made FC so special.
Let's build community instead of tearing people down and scaring them away.
There are better ways to engage in constructive, supportive dialogue, while still expressing questions and concerns.
That's the thing. YLL has left.as a suggestion for angus2: @YLLVAPE OFFICAL:
I don't really want to get into this discussion again, but I don't believe the situation is as dichotomous as you present it. From what I saw it was also the discussion that followed the questions that contributed to the hostile climate.I disagree with this paternalistic post and I want to testify that since i am on fc many, if not all, of the toxic relations between fuckcombusters and manufacturers i saw, started from unanswered topic questions, or sensationalistic and unreal commercial statements, or unanswered bad CS or QC and then down the sink they go.
Here on angus, what you call toxic started around a fake CE logo, and some unclear patent claims (granted or abandoned?) and still I do not know if this device is CE compliant as stated (the page with angus used to cover half of it didn’t clear much for me and that logo is china export by design)
we are customers, exigent educated and spending ones, we have the right to ask questions, fuck! if manufacturers are honest and forthcoming they stay here and participate to this community (and the economical benefit this community give back to them) if they try to be vicious we are too many, too educated and too passionates to fool us and this is our strenght as a community. Sometimes too passionates and that is also a problem but it doesn’t apply here
there are many vapes makers (logs ones are all still on board AFAIK) and accessories makers still on board alongs with retailers, how this is? are they toxic resistant mutants or simply passionates and honest ones?
My point being: in our community is asking questions the toxic ingredient or elusive/lack of answers is? IMO the latter
On the other side, if we were in a mobsters/religious community questioning the boss would be considered toxic indeed.
as a suggestion for angus2: @YLLVAPE OFFICAL: please consider making bulb replacement easy and serviceable by the user, bulbs cost nothing and they are world wide available and over time they broke and they collect dirt (herbal dust)
You are right, we are sometimes too much passionates (inquiring or shielding) but for me what starts the fire is the lack of clarity: if the fake CE logo on the angus picture was acknowledged by yll (whatever way), we will no need inquiring more or shielding being my point.I don't really want to get into this discussion again, but I don't believe the situation is as dichotomous as you present it. From what I saw it was also the discussion that followed the questions that contributed to the hostile climate.
Some users (not Mike) started trying to shield the device from any scrutiny. Inquisitive users got more inquisitive because of this. Mike was mid launch trying to answer questions but it didn't answer them satisfactory to all users. These users raise their questions once more. The other users do their shielding again. And so forth and so on.
That's awesome! Was also trying to mod minivap stuff for this device. Did you use a dremel or something to make the hole bigger to accept the diameter of the vapcap stem?I have looked at the thread and I have not seen anything about battery consumption, I am using it with new sony vtc6 2600mah batteries and it gives me a performance of between 5 or 6 sessions, which seems very little to me, compared to the other vapes that I have, this is the one that consumes the most by far, does it give you a similar performance?
I have removed the CU stock and created this system with a minivap gasket and a Vapcap stem and it has completely changed my experience, with the stock CU my first thought was to return it, I leave you some images
I’m glad to see others have called the tone of this out as a little ridiculous. You seem like a great guy @Texus but as consumers we are totally entitled to do some fact checking, especially considering how unregulated this industry is. A manufacturer who can’t handle the heat of that level of scrutiny should stay out of the kitchen imo.Hope y'all are happy. Been worried and warning about that outcome based on how YLL was treated for weeks. Good work gang.

I had to enlarge very little for the stem to enter, yes, but I'm not worried at all, I will never use the stock CU, the change is abysmal, enough to discard it from the original form, even the performance has changed, with a load of 0.10 gr is giving me about 6/7 very satiating and satisfying puffsThat's awesome! Well, we have a similar performance then, it seems to me an excessive consumption but it could be the normal consumption of the halogen, I don't know either, but it will be a question of buying more batteriesI thought Sony VTC6 was 3000 mah? I am using LG HG2 mostly and they are 3000mah, rotating with Samsung 25R that are less, I feel like the difference is yeah like two bowls, so it's more like 5-8 sessions? I mean my sessions were under 5 minutes always and lower temp so that could be why I felt like I was getting better battery life as well though I honestly didn't track too closely lol
That is very nice, yeah this is the type of mouthpiece that we would need stock, even better with a bent stem and glass screen, some sort of shell for it then safely from heat... and same thing for some WPA too
Thanks but tbh I would never buy a cart, ecig or a knockoff. It’s not an either or situation for me.Eta i agree with @bobothevaper about health concerns but lets be clear, 1000s of vape carts, e cigs, knockoff or rebrands are sold everywhere all the time. These units are all clearly unsafe to an extent. The fact YLL even came here suggests he has considered safety to some extent. Otherwise it woulda been a cut n shut case
Obviously this is a me thing, but when it comes to business, I hold feelings in low regard. It's a transactional game.I think what @Texus means is if we had been a bit more polite, the manufacturer may still want to be on this forum.
Which I agree with.
I think @davesmith was trying to put in perspective the intent of the faux CE marking, as Yllvape conducts business in a totally different way than those other devices' manufacturers that got the faux marking as well. Thanks but tbh I would never buy a cart, ecig or a knockoff. It’s not an either or situation for me.
the public forum where these tough questions get asked makes it a bit more complicated though, don't you think? You give me money, I give you my product.
Exactly what I mean. The public character is of huge impact. I don't know about anyone else, but me I'm just an amateur enthousiast with no knowledge about health shit or legal/patent/certification shit. If I want to get clarity on that type of stuff, im depending on the benevolence of the manufacturer. They need to provide the info. But if there remains some shot that unclear, I am also depending on the benevolence of the inquirer. If the inquirer is insincere, they can just as easily fool me, debunking the manufacturer's proof in a fraudulent way. Im a layperson and I wouldn't be able to tell which is the deceitful one.If my time answering convinces the person that my product is sound and in turn they decide to purchase it, then it has been time well spent.
Yeah I think that's the type of assumption that runs a business to the ground real quick tbhIf not, I will take the positive from it by assuming I have answered numerous other peoples question around the same topic and it will possibly convince them instead.
I've had my unit over a week now, it definitely extracts well, very even AVB. Flavour is not the greatest compared to other portables, tasted like the mighty using the cooling unit, but is slightly better through the WPA.Apparently we can remove the 4 torx screws on the top plate to get access to the red oring at the top of the chamber.
I removed mine last night for a cleaning.
The black oring around the peek needs to be removed for plate to come off, and then the the peek section just lifts out with the red oring housed underneath it.
I read it on Discord (amongst other things). Troy asked if it was possible to remove and the manufacturer confirmed it.
2 of the holes had metal washers on top and 2 didn't. 1 of the 2 washers wasn't lined up with the hole and looks like it was just squashed between the top plate and wood.
I forgot to take a picture of the removed peek section.
Really? Just this moment I clicked on his name and got this! That's the thing. YLL has left.
AFAIK VGEZ is about to do one with my unit he replaced@MedicinalMonkeyWrench I think you should do a tear down!!
