I find him to be evasive to the questions, he sees them and only half answers stuff. this goes back months and months to when I asked about the patent. afaik he hasnt disclosed the patent number yet. the 'teardown' he posted doesnt show any of the parts people are concerned about. the CE mark is present on the device in the testing lab so it appears it was going to be on the device regardless of the test result - some of these companies just pencil whip the tests and everyones approved anyway.
the maker doesnt have access to cannabis, the device is obviously designed by someone who doesnt use it. why are there so many day 1 mods on a device that people have had in hand and testing for months. it seems like some specific criticism would've launched a stronger product. another vape where people are probably going to be sitting and waiting for a v2

To the point you are no longer a mod on vaporents because you repeatedly went after him and tried to misrepresent what was happening. You stirred the pot anytime you could, just like now. similar ball park - the notion of repairs on these devices. why is the manufacturer putting the liability on the vendors to fix them? when the xbox red ringed they didn’t make best buy fix them

He has a sincere desire to make quality products. He's not hiding! He's over on 420vapezone talking about projects and getting community feedback.
I have read plenty of your material directed at mike. Not once have I ever seen a post remotely positive or inviting. You have gone as far to even make fun of the name of his company name. Why would anyone want to deal with this harassment?
Why so many mods? Well honestly it would have been nicer to have a longer period of time for feedback and to implement but the majority of the people who ACTUALLY OWN THIS really do like it and are satisfied as is. And please stop acting like people on FC don't get creative modding other vaporizers DAY 1 anyway. This community is constantly tinkering and trying to make things better. It's what makes this community great. And good manufacturers will take that feedback and try to improve. Just like Mike will, but it doesn't mean the product isn't worthy as is.

This struck me as quite incredible ...... as to how the maker could design such a wonderful herbal thermal extraction device without having access to the herbs it will be primarily used with during the design and testing phase of the device. It would be like designing and building a race car without a race track and fuel to properly test the car and get the critical feedback to improve the design. How'n hell am I supposed to build and learn how to play a guitar without any strings? Voodoo stuff?!!? Makes me realize how important (critical) feedback from users must be to the maker going forward. Therefore, an encouragement here for users to provide feedback on the Angus, both good and bad. I suspect you won't hurt the makers feelings, even with seemingly trivial complaints. Always more to be learned from the negatives than the positives ... it seems. Praise is appreciated I'm sure and warranted I'm certain.
After consideration ... Access to the magic herb is probably best answered via the black market (like everyone did before legalization). Usage of the herb in China is as old as the herb itself. Get it from Granny or grow your own (for science). Kinda like home stilling the moonshine to fuel your super secret rocket race car
Do other Chinese manufactures get this same question? Seriously how many Chinese manufactured vapes are out there? How many threads on FC? Are they getting this same scrutiny? To answer your questions, they work with people who do have access and hopefully people who are qualified to help in development. At least that is what happened here. I cannot confirm for the hundreds of other units out there but again I don't recall them getting this line of questioning either.
Yeah. This is exactly the thing. YLLVAPE is very forthcoming with partial information but never answers the actual question. So we are left to guess. Why the fake CE mark? You offered so good theories but we have no idea. Same goes for the missing parts of the tear down. And even the patent question.
They don't have to answer anything, but they are not being as transparent as people claim.
He told me the other day that this place feels a bit toxic. He is not hiding. He's just spending time in places where folks seem to have the right intentions. Not everyone has the thick skin you need to deal with the folks on FC who obviously have no interest in them other than to tear them down. I actually think Mike does but he really just doesn't see this as a productive discussion the way certain members are trying to frame things.
There is also a language barrier that should at least be considered. I have communicated quite a bit with him and he's gotten most of what I am saying but to assume that has no impact here would not be fair.
Anyway I encouraged him to come back and clarify some things/defend his honor. It's the middle of the night in China and he said he just got home from work. Said he'd consider responding in the morning but I would also not blame him if he never came back here.
