Tetra P80

I do not understand how you adapt this wood adapter to the lamart rod?

How do you go about it and which rod works with this wooden adapter?
These wooden adapters (fitted with either your S&B dosing capsule or basket screen on its bottom) will fit perfectly within the Tubo/Tetra. You then connect any Dynavap stem, like the O'Connell Inception Stem, for example, on its top. Personally, the wood fits much more securely within the glass of your device than any glass stem. Feels far more durable with less risk of breaking than the glass-on-glass. I believe she designed these to be used with RBT devices, which makes them compatible with Tubos/Tetras.

This was actually the first thing I got in purple, well it is violet red, a little more fuchsia, then I got light amethyst BCG, plum jelly bandit, O'Connell inception stem for FW7... Oh actually when I got my padauk tubo tetra dual custom, I got a custom spiked stem with a purple-ish horn, that was the first first!

I have a lot of blue actually, which is what my original tubo evic is, marine blue painted poplar, plus my first BCG is aquamarine and went with blue for my IQ2 so that was a really tough decision between it and their purple! And my soon to come new bandit will be a blue too lol

I also think I really need a blue stabilized flame box elder burl Tetra so then what color do I get for an acrylic tetra, purple or blue or yeah red like the rubies is a nice color too as is orange and greys... I need @funkyjunky to make and release a TetraG3D using RXgen3Dual mod so I can get more of his stuff for my collection!!
I am with you on that, I really need a burl tetra for my collection and a tetra x too go with my 2 splinter Z

Ah if hash @Oden then yeah I would say just sprinkle it on top, I don't know why sandwiching specifically would help, with pure convection the heat and air flow is coming from the top of the herb basket, so the air will be the hottest at the edge of it, that's why sometimes you get a hotspot when you finish a bowl at a high temp but the herbs below it are not as dark... Anyway I feel like hash would need high temps, better to use without herb, maybe some ceramic underneath like the flavor saver from 7th floor elev8r glass?
Thanks again for your reply 👍
My tetra is on the way but if its like other convection vapes I have used, your best bet will be to sandwich the hash in some herb. If you only have hash, grab some organic cotton from your local vape shop and sandwich with that instead. Go very easy on the temps if using cotton.
Thank you so much ! I had never vaporized hash before and thought it would work best with a conduction vaporizer. But with a mixture of weed with Damiana for example, I think the hash can be vaporized very well.

I apologize if your question is lost in google translation, but I'm not entirely sure what you're asking regarding a "lamart rod". If "rod" translates to "stem," this is not required when using the wooden adapter + dynavap stem/rod combo.

What I wanted to know was which cooling rod the adapter can be used with.
Besides I still don't see clearly how to use this wooden adapter with a basket screen and the dynavap cooling rod ...?
It must have worked well but I don't see how.

How do you find this draw restriction with this combination?

Hey everyone, my inbox is not really reliable at this moment. Can someone who ordered a custom TP80 can tell me if lamart answered to discuss about the build please?

I emailed him a day or two after the drop and heard from him a couple days later. I imagine he's pretty busy right now, so replies may take a bit.

in hopes of making my selections for the custom build a little more straight forward, i organized a simple table that is helping me navigate some of the pictures and info in this awesome thread. it's by no means complete, and there's definitely more pictures throughout the thread of specific units or arrivals. to keep it simple, the page numbers reference the picture dumps of the prebuilds/customs following drops. it's made it easier for me to identify the species and all that jazz, and to follow any discussion around the released builds.

on the lamart shop right-clicking pictures and "save image as" also pulls up the specs in the default file name, but i don't think the site is as exhaustive as this thread, picture wise, and for whatever reason i have an easier time while simultaneously going down rabbit-holes, here.

i'm sure i haven't counted all units in distribution, especially customs (anyone feel free to fill in), but i think it gives a rough idea of the number of tetra p80s currently out there, and evidences the scarcity... probably a touch north of 200 units now?

hopefully this helps folks in here if they find themselves in a similar, incredibly lucky situation. maybe this doesn't belong here and instead should be in the tp80 order thread that Shit Snacks suggested, in which case i must apologize.

That is a great resource. When I was picking my custom I had difficulty trying to remember what pages all the drops were on as I was making my selections.

Besides I still don't see clearly how to use this wooden adapter with a basket screen and the dynavap cooling rod ...?

Have you clicked the link below to the adapter’s product page? If not, do so and take a look at the photos. The lower half goes in the vape, and contains the weed (either in a dosing capsule, or held in place with a basket screen). The upper half has a small nub with o-rings, which can be inserted into any dynavap stem. The stem is basically just acting like a straw. Does this make sense?

If you’re not familiar with the Lamart capsule stems, this might help (especially the photos of the bottom): https://shop.lamart.ch/index.php?route=product/product&path=64_77&product_id=646

I recently consolidated my stem collection after discovering KGWoodcraft's Crossover Adapter, which allows me to use any of my Dynavap stems with the Tubo as well as my soon to arrive P80.

Any chance not setting up some kind of loyalty bonus? Maybe we can register our names before the drop and if we have registered 5 times and not got anything you could put us in a priority list and we get a separate drop or into the drop a few mins early.

I know I'm again trying to work away around the drop itself but I have been trying for some time now and I'm simply not that good at this stuff to win one. I would have more chance on a lottery ticket.

Yet I'm still holding this money reluctant to spend it in another vape as unlike this one so much.

Again if someone was willing to do the purchase for me I would be happy to compensate you for the service as it's a specialist skill to me anyway. If you are interested please dm me and we can sort something out.

I know my P80 gets me really high cause every single night, when replacing batteries, I try to fit the battery in the 18mm mouthpiece hole instead of the battery compartment. Every night. Wrong hole. And I look at it surprised every night to check whats going wrong...
Sorry, had to share...
Am I the only one? Quite dumb...

I've got a Vapbong as my main desktop vaporizer so pretty used to vaping through water by now...Anyone hitting the P80 through a glass bubbler/bong? Any recommendations?

I wanna use the P80 when im on the go and visiting friends so something portable/not too big would be nice. I've looked around a bit and quite hard to find something (due to lockdown all shops are closed). Mainly looking for something in the € 20-100 range.

Not the tetra but tubo with bong, I think it should translate.

I can recommend a simple small bong with 18mm Male adapter directly, that way you're only holding 2 pieces: vape and bong. I find this really convenient, since the screen can be put directly on the bong and no adapter is necessary.

I got mine by chance after long search and it has been delisted after. But it was actually pretty cheap (~25-35€).

For a more mobile approach I can recommend ddaves cooling stem, it's not with water but works well for cooling. Just hope your friends will be careful, I was always afraid even though it's sturdy. :D

Thanks for the video GoldenBud! An option I wasn’t aware of as I await the next drop (I missed the one for Jan). 😟

Thanks for the links. That was exactly what I was looking for. Not quite sure what to buy though - they both look fantastic. Love that you get so many attachments. The only thing that bothers me is the curved mouth piece?! I hope you get what I mean. I'd like it to be vertical like a "normal" bong. I've looked for something similar with all these attachments and a "vertical mouth piece" but couldn't find what I was looking for. Can you help me out again?

Yeah was thinking about that too, probably easily portable if the bong is the right size. I'll check out a small bong as soon as my local shops open again.

Haha yeah "luckily"my friends don't vape... so no need to be afraid.

yeah I get what you mean, it's curved and was new to me too, actually almost 3 years ago my first D020.
It's excellent. you have good point of view to your bubbler, you get used to it immediately in my opinion. I'd go for D020 9'' if I were you, it's better to have a bigger bubbler with the TP80, it can really rip around 220C+ .
but you ask me, I had 4x D020 over the last 3 years, I want to diverse ;)
D020 is excellent choice and you get some 18/18 WPA which is also great to have
