Ryan's got an IG stream up under buddharastatao from 5 hours ago wherein he talks about the current splinter giveaway, custom mi2s, mi3 changes/upgrades, mfr'ing his own thick glass, etc. It's interesting & informative so check it out if you have the time. Just under an hour.

Anyone running the Splinter Z on a Releaux 2/3 mod? What are your temp control settings? I've been running it at 38 in VW but I haven't managed to get temp control working like I can with my V1.

There’s a us 2 hole Us Z on ent exchange rn, (already pms sent tho) don’t know if you’re set on a “I’ll take a purple heart please” custom or just US Z. But there ya go

New members or new guests continually come & read. When I was a newbie I couldn't follow or fully understand many posts because they weren't explicit enough. So when I post I always try to make my posts as detailed as nec. so others fully understand what I'm saying & so the newbies can follow along. I'm never bashful in asking for (further) clarification when I don't understand. :D

I know how an IG story is meant to be watched, but it's been done with a previous IG story of Ryan, same as with numerous other IG stories. When there's a stream, there's means to record it. I'm so old that I don't miss having to watch stuff in real-time or not watch it at all..

So my splinter z seems like its not producing as much vapor/heating my bud as efficiently as usual, although it does still work.

For reference I have it on a Realeaux rx gen3 on tcr 120 set to 365F and have in the past been having issues in the past with it auto swapping to wattage mode sometimes when I'd hit it if that matters.

Is your splinter showing the same resistance as it used to? Mine sits at around 0.4 ohms cold.

Ok, so there is nothing wrong with your heater at least. Have you cleaned/ changed your screen in your stem recently? If not, you would be surprised how little gunk it takes to start restricting airflow, which is a sure fire way of decreasing performance in a convection vape.

What is your reason for waiting til its warm to apply? Just curious my man/woman. I think I need some therapy soon.
