Where can i get a Splinter Z V2? I'm from Germany and i cannot even find one shop that sells a Splinter Z V2 and ships to Germany.

Have you tried Vapefiend in the UK mate? Pretty sure they’ll ship to Germany. They shipped me one to Australia.

Verdampftnochmal has Splinters and Splinter Z. For the Splinter they mention it's the V2, not for the Z though, maybe ask them.

So this mod is called a REO Woodvil. It was hand-made in 2015 by a fellow named Rob who created the OG Squonkers called REOs Mods. It's a mechanical squonker that was gifted to me by Mrs Sloth and holds a special place in my heart. Little did I know that four years later, I'd be topping it with a wenge Splinter Z and vaping cannabis.

It's truly a match-made in heaven. Kind of. It vapes, but I just really prefer TC for this atomizer. Other than that, it feels great in hand and looks like it was cut from the exact same chunk of wood. I must say that I do not recommend using a mechanical mod unless one really takes it upon themselves to learn ohm's law and all about battery safety.

You'll also notice a gorgeous tool for scraping/stirring in a few of these pics. I purchased this from @RogueGuy and absolutely love it! This one is made of walnut and is sufficiently dark to join in on the woody action. Really happy with it, I've been putting it to good use

Hi everyone!
Does anyone have a drawing or a picture of the interior of the Splinter?
Is the chamber's screen attached to the glass and can it come off?
I noticed that a bit of residual material always forms at the edges of the screen, I cleaned with a napkin soaked in alcohol but I think I have "loosened" the adherence of the screen to the glass walls a little.
Any suggestions?

@Bazinga I have one of my Zs on a Drone and it's exceptional. Note that it's only a two cell mod in the larger three cell case and the third dedicated to the squonk bottle is wasted space. I actually like that compared to my actual three cell DNA250C mod because it's lighter and has a balanced feel. Most of my DNA mods are two cells and they suit me fine. in any case it's guaranteed to give your ZV2 a whole new personality. One of my favorite things about Splinters is how they hit different on different mods and how precise they feel on DNAc mods. So even if you only ever used wattage mode a ZV2 on a Drone would make first rate pairing.

It is just a friction fit in the glass, that shouldn't really loosen it at all... Did you push it hard?

You don't need to fuck with the material files. There are extra ones for Hot and Warm you can add using one of the escribe tabs but it's not necessary.

Yes, i pushed a little hard at the edges...
And I heard a little noise as if it were coming off the glass...
Before the screen looked a little "swollen"
It's as if it was a little flattened at the edges.
Maybe it's just my paranoia and it will continue to work well but now it's as if there were a few millimeters of space between the screen and the glass chamber. I don't know if you understand from the picture ...

@TiSteamo, unfortuanately, your image doesn't show. You must be using imgur?

My screens iook a little swollen, too, so this is normal. I use an angled eye makeup brush from the dollar store to loosen any avb that gathers where the screen & glass meet.

Yes, before, my screen seemed a little swollen too.
Now it looks a little flat, because I squeezed it to the sides.
I think it's a bit detached from the glass...
I wish I'd never done that, man!

Maybe it will continue to work well, what do you say? I haven't used it yet ...

IME it is one piece that came out together in one of my Splinters. I just put some hi temp crazy glue around the glass ring at the top.

On another occasion I had a Splinter V1 body come loose from the metal base. In that case too it appeared that the glass and screen were one piece.

IME it is one piece that came out together in one of my Splinters. I just put some hi temp crazy glue around the glass ring at the top.

On another occasion I had a Splinter V1 body come loose from the metal base. In that case too it appeared that the glass and screen were one piece.

How did it happen?
Did you drop it?

So did you see how it's made inside?
Is there anyone here who ever took it apart?

Anyway, I've just tested it and the performance is the same as always ...

I would try not to damage it because I love it
...

Now I think I understand what the situation is like (since it's very difficult to look inside)
Before, the heater screen was raised, now there is a space of a couple of millimeters between the end of the glass and the beginning of the screen and in those few mm some wood is left uncovered.
I wouldn't want the heat to end up damaging the wooden part ...

Yeah, not the lowest price in the world and the ergos of the Paranormal are a bit funny looking fit-wise but my ZV1 is dreamy on that mod and the Lost Vape DNAc mods seem better made than their Think Vape or Hcigar counterparts.

Nope! That's why I didn't post it in the regular Splinter thread, V2 needs a special 19 mm joint length, while this stem is 22 mm like other RBT Vapes... So just Z's, Milaanas, and Zions will fit.

Yeah imgur blacklisted FC you'll have to use another image host site like imgbb. But anyway I can't answer your questions, if it works it works, just try to be more gentle in the future? I gently poke out little bits with a toothpick, anything that got deep in the crevices is impossible to get out... (like I foolishly used it with someone who coughed into the bubbler while I had my nice canary Z attached so I have not been able to fully clean it, the crevice and who knows what else, but it is good enough plus now I have a V2 and purpleheart Z that are still pristine at least!)

Yes it's a V1.
My concern is the small piece of wood that has been left uncovered and could be damaged in the long term due to heat ...
Do you notice it? It is the dark part on the edges, in the 2nd pic.
