7 grams out of 36 is like 19.5%
I'd think even expecting a 10% return from ABV is optimistic...

I weighed out my AVB and it came out to 35.8 grams.
I threw it in a bottle and shook it with some ISO (a combination of 70% and 91%, as I didn't have enough 91%) for 15 minutes.
I know the method you showed me was called the quick-wash method but another tutorial I looked at recommended 15 minutes of shaking, but that was trim.
Hopefully my hash won't be too shitty now. I'm just waiting for the ISO to finish drying out, then I'll get to scraping.
There are big dark spots/chunks in the dried section which is kind of shitty.
Hopefully I didn't just waste a metric shit ton of AVB.
Ya....let us know what you think Unfortantely I predict you might be disappointed. Iso is a semi polar solvent that gets more polar as it increases in temperature, the remaining % that's not Iso is all water which is polar and will extract chlorophyll and other plant matter.
So what I am saying is for good qwiso you want 90% iso or higher, cold iso (some even make salt water baths or go all out with acetone dry ice baths to increase soak times since the Iso is much less polar at sub freezing temperatures), cold plant matter to make the trichomes more brittle and lock moisture into the plant matter, and finally quick washes of your plant matter. If you want to try and extract everything to max your efficiency do multiple washes that you incrementally increase the wash times on that way you have a quality run and then you can see how longer wash times affect your resulting product.
Good luck man
Lets us know how much ya got out of it as well baked please!!
13 gram of WAX out of 600 grams clippings = 2.12%You won't get a huge return lucky to get around a 7gms, don't expect great taste b/c you didn't filter it with water first. However, it should surprise you that you were just gonna pitch it...
No, the hits are not thicker,IMO. I have one and I use it with as much herb as I normally use. I prefer the straight wand, it's easier to break up/crunch your herb inside the bowl when stirring.I seem to be getting better results with my SSV the more i play with it, but I think im going to order the Standard HC and wand and set this Spherical GG aside for a while.
How are the fatty wands? Do they really provide thicker hits?
Try inhaling more slowly.
Slow = hot
fast = cooler
Stir and lift the load after each pull... and take many more hits.
Do not move Heater cover./.. let it sit in lowest position.
Which Heater cover and wand is it?

I find the easiest way to deal with ABV oil is to just dab it, but if you're gonna try it with the SSV, I'd reccomend getting a bit on your designated stirring/oil picking up tool, then while its still stuck to the dabber, dip that into your ground herbs.
You'll end up with a your ball of hash crusted with fresh bud, and you can more easily handle that ball since it won't be so sticky on the outside.
Once you get it figured out, it's a nice little treat to have every now and then, so I wouldn't give up on it just yet.
