not sure if this has been discussed but I've noticed the effects of flower rosin to be quite different than vaping the flower - it's really heavy and for me only good before bed - are the effects due to temps used?
What kind of control do these have? I like the leverage handle. That means it is MADE to push flat with some decent pressure. This looks like a winner to me. Maybe I can control the temp with my BBQ Guru.These tortilla/flatbread makers look promising:
LavoHome Stainless Steel Tortilla Flat Bread Maker - Non Stick 8" Cooking Surface, 35.79
CucinaPro 1443 Flatbread and Tortilla Maker, $65.99
Edit: Oh, hey. My 1,000th post and it's about tortilla makers. Thanks, FC.
I add 2 or 3 seconds to the heating time.@farscaper, do you preheat the slick pads before pressing? If not, have you tried? It seems like that would help, unless the slower heat is actually helping with the extraction…
HAHA I find myself here looking up roti bread temps..I don't know how hot a roti maker needs to be?
Glad I wasn't the only one at least I got a recipe out of it!HAHA I find myself here looking up roti bread temps..
Southeast Asia or West Indes roti? LMAO...
Just read the whole thread in one sitting. Damn I miss you guys!
I'm in...this looks so damn easy...I like the tortilla press. I used to have a panini press...can't remember if I still have it..will check in the morning. I WILL try this method for sure.
A question...if your buds are too dry, what can you do to add some "humidity" to them?
@CrazyDiamond
@farscaper
Back in the day I used to use the thick white part of lettuce to rehydrate some dry crispy bud. If it was particularly nasty I would use orange peel. A small piece in the bag over nite usually did the trick.
...there are also humidity eggs you can freeze as well as bodiva packs you can store with your material.
Ha! Yes.I cant tell if were extracting or making sandwiches in this thread some times...
either way..
I have a vacuum pump for marshmallow deflationHa! Yes.
Simple homemade RSO guy, so where do you think my setup is...?
My fondue pot for oil baths is out regularly on the counter (cleaned of course) and people have commented that we must be BIG fondue lovers...
Thanks for this thread, by the way. I am a John Barleycorn lover, but always open to finding a solventless technique. I am watching with great interest!
But it IS looking like I have to move the operation from the kitchen to the laundry room...?
Peace!
