We are using our time to get these products available as soon as possible and apologize for not updating our posts here more often. The PVHEGonG has been released, our new herbalAire Fritted GonG Adapter has been released, the limited quantity have sold out and we want to see the performance of the fritted screen under various usage conditions before we make a lot of them.
Sounds great PV - keep up the good work!We like how you think. Yes we are already working on it, herbalAire has an advantage here as the bowl diameter is slightly larger allowing the use of a slightly larger frit for better airflow. The Solo stems are called the PVHES Signature Series and will feature a fritted screen, all the PVHES mods and an all new made entirely in North America custom stem with our Perfect Fit technology.
Peace and Love,
PV
Damn I have been saying I need a PVHES-GOG since I got my solo. I'm disapointed I couldn't get one.
They have more up for sale now. If you want them better grab them before they're gone! (I wonder if I should order another ... but then I'll have to spend an extra $100 or so to hit the $130 free shipping ...! )Damn I have been saying I need a PVHES-GOG since I got my solo. Do you ever need to wiggle/move the stem to increase airflow a bit?
Since the lip of the solo stem can block off the inlet holes in the heater, I find that sometimes lifting the stem a bit (well, since I'm always using it inverted technically I'm lifting the solo) will help airflow.
With just my DIY notches on the lip of the bowl, it improved my flow to the point where I no longer notice any difference between the stem fully inserted and the stem lifted a bit.
And I can imagine the side channels will help even more, so I'd say if you are fiddling with the stem during a sesh to get your desired air flow, def get a PVHESGonG.
If you are really happy with the flow you get from a the current stems, still probably try a PVHES at some point

I have a few questions about the PVHES. What is the difference between the standard and turbo stems? From the description: "Large Single Bore with a glass rim to hold the required screen", not quite sure what that means.
Also any word on when there will be a restock on the PVHES? Looking forward to buying one.
And thanks PV for the Doritos (however, I had heartburn earlier, which had largely subsided, then I went and ate a bag of Doritos after vaping a bowl and it's coming back with a vengeance! oh well ... suffering because I gave into temptation yet again )
