A while back, I reported that my PNP AC adapter was acting strangely causing intermittent failures mid sessions or if I wiggled the connector. I thought I could even correlate it to where the connector would be a bit rough, but could not see anything in the AC Adapter 3.5mm barrel nor PNP post. Only the Proto1 Car Charger didn’t have the same roughness nor issue. Many people had some great suggestions (THANK YOU!), but I suspected the 3.5mm barrel connector and 24AWG wire were the real issues here. Simply, 24AWG wire is not rated for 3A, let alone 2A. Instead of ordering another PNP charger, I got a Cincon supply. The primary reason was the Cincon has 16AWG wire, and is rated for 4A. So for about the same price as the PNP adapter I got an AC adapter with a better electrical spec. After receiving it, I believe the 16 AWG and bulkier 3.5mm barrel connector improve the interface to the PNP. It is sturdier and doesn’t fail. Only issue is the cord length is a bit shorter than the PNP.

Enjoy life!

It's possible that it could be the best portable vaporizer, but NOT with these plastic PonGs. They made a serious mistake when they decided to go with the plastic without even thinking of offering a glass upgrade..glad they are trying to make things right though.
Thanks for the honest reply. I've been away for seriously months and months. Is their anything else coming in the future? What else would you recommend? I was originally curious with the cera, it had issues... inhalater xp, it had issues, than i just decided to wait. I dont mind spending the money, as long as its a quality product. Any help and/or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

It looks like you have a crack in the front of your unit? Am I correct?

The exact same thing happened to my PNP. Never dropped it and cleaned it well after each session. One day I was using it for oil on setting 4 and when I took off the mouthpiece that black plastic circle at the top meted into my mouthpiece and broke right off. I contacted VB and even though it was not my fault they are charging me $80 to fix a little black plastic ring... How generous of them (sarcasm) I will not be purchasing a product that hasn't had all the kinks worked out.

There's a pic of the crack. What do you guys think. Safe to use? Is there something I can do to fix it?

Modnote: Edited to fix image link.

Sadly after 3 weeks mine is doing the same thing. Plus the PonG is melting around the screen. I am going to return mine to the vendor I got it from and exchange it for something else. I can't see a replacement PnP lasting thru the "year" warranty and supposedly with VB not honoring cracking plastic with free replacement I can't justify keeping this unit. Sad... I really am... I like it a lot....

I sent my PPro back under warranty and even got a RMA. My problem was that my unit would freak out after one bullet and the only way to get it to reset itself was to plug into charger. After 6 weeks I was told my unit was cracked at the mouthpiece. I of course was shocked. It was explained that the battery issue was a side effect of the crack. Was told $105 to fix. Unit has only been used for month and a half.
I have been sending numerous emails to all three emails everyday. NO RESPONSE! I am not going to pay for a fix to a design flaw that is going to happen again. The funny thing is they still have my unit and charger.
I don't understand how therealvaporblunt can be making comments on the forum but refuses to address this issue. It seems he uses the same tactic which is to only respond to positive comments.
I never saw the crack they say I have. I was not only pissed but dumbfounded by this. Please people stop saying this is the best vape on the market. It is a false statement when it is becoming clear that the cracks are happening to many many units under different heating uses. This does not appear to be just a "you ran it to hot" issue. I have noticed that people are saying they never went above 3/4. I can't even imagine that low setting I'm a cloud chaser and usually set my unit on 5 to start.
It seems Vaporblunt has many of us screwed. I live in a non medical state and can't call better business and complain. That doesn't mean some of you who live in legal states can't make the steps involved to get this company to stop ripping people of.
Anyway in the meantime I have gone ahead and purchased a Firefly and will be moving on. I have a shitload of bullets and extras that I purchased during the Vaporblunt big sale back in December that I will be getting rid of.

New PNP (and FC) user needs some help. I have no problems with herb and the bullets, but have not had much success with the FMJ. I have used both oil and moon rock but don't get any vapor. I heated to 4 with and without the water tool. Am I doing something wrong?

Many people have had issues with the FMJ, not enough air flow. The solution many people have come up with when using oils and concentrates is to use the normal herb bullet instead. The oil can be soaked into an organic cotton ball, pop into normal herb bullet, and vape at high temp 4-5. The moon rock could be sandwiched between layers of herb in a bullet and vaped in the same way.

Search for the "kief burgers" recipe for more info. Hope this helps!

I will not be buying anymore VaporBlunt products. They will not make good on an obvious flaw in their vaporizer. The warranty will not cover the faulty material the units are made of? I should say faulty in my opinion from my own experience with the units I have bought.

I will use my units until they don't work anymore. I spent $600 on 3 units plus the assessories. I really like the water tool and use it with my Solo. I bought 2 extra water tools when they were on sale for $50.

I was so excited when I first bought my Pnp, but due to defects I will not be suggesting this vape to others until VaporBlunt make things right. This maybe too expensive for them, I don't know.

Concerning those cracks... in my humble opinion its because you're shoving something into the hole that has a tapered end. In a sense it will slightly pull apart on all sides. As the unit heats up the glass attachment(that was in the previous pic) also heats which will fatigue the plastic...causing the crack.

Mine cracked ONLY using the supplied mouth piece. So that my friends is a design flaw. I have over 20 years in manufacturing and if the units are breaking down so easily that is poor engineering. No fingers are being pointed at any individuals but if VB can't acknowledge this flaw and make it right I too will never buy another product of theirs. And honestly $50-100 to replace the plastic housing is laughable. That STILL puts money in their pockets for something that should have been addressed before being sold on the market.

realvaporblunt/engineer are you reading these? I can't get my vendor to respond. I am quite surprised at your lack of response on this matter.. All the cracking begins at the SEAM where the shell was connected together... it is NOT a one piece assemble. There are visible seams and that is where mine is separating....

Trust me I am not crapping on this product. I wouldn't have purchased it if I had any reservations about it. It's just my experience has not been what I expected. Heck if the unit just flat out died from use after 6-10 months I wouldn't have given it a second thought. But the fact that all these members here are experiencing melting mouth piece or cracking unit base very early into the unit life is very concerning to say the least. Being told the unit was being run too hot is not a valid excuse for VB. They designed the unit to have 5 heat settings. Why can't we use 4 or 5 ??? And for VB to claim its abuse or anything other than a design issue is troubling to me.

Hi Very high
Cracks look nasty. Everyone with the cracks I am assuming you are using the unit on high temp settings 4-5? Or back to back sessions? This is a shame for the high temp users. Don't think this will affect me as even level 3 with the WT is hot/harsh for me even though I can go all the way up to 7 on my solo :hmm: Looking at my unit I don't see any sort of crack or seem line. The plastic looks to be one solid molded piece, I will have to keep an eye on it and hope for the best:nod: I really hope Vaporblunt sorts you guys out as this really should be covered under the warranty.

I rarely went above 3. And its just interesting how many pictures show the cracks in the same area. Maybe its a mold mark and not a seam. But either way the cracks are there and I treated my vape like gold. They should send out replacement top plastic housing parts with instruction for those who want to repair it themselves.

I'm only 70 pages or so through this thread (when it was still mostly gushing about performance and VaporBlunt customer service). Wish I had made it to the end before placing my Massdrop order. Buyer's remorse is setting in big-time. VaporBlunt, don't let us down!

No offense to anyone, I am not saying this is not a real problem, but it is really impossible to gauge how big of a problem this is, there is little besides anecdotal data available, nobody has even quantified the # of affected users, even if we did, I don't think anyone but TRVB knows what percentage of unit sales that reflects or how many people outside these forums there are and what they are experiencing. If it was found this was affecting <5% that would be a much different course of action for a business than if it was >30% (I'm using rough numbers, let's not micro debate this).

Personally, none of what is reported has happened to me. When I first purchased, I had to return my unit twice for battery failures and was given prompt and attentive customer service. Ever since then, perfect operation, no cracks, no melting pieces, no battery failures. I love my PnP, don't regret the purchase one bit, and hope to use it for as long as it will last.:evil::evil:

Since you already purchased, I'd say give it a go and wait for the glass PonG exchange before forming your own opinion.

If you want to experience a true worthless vaporizer and buyer's remorse, purchase an Atmos Raw.

If the PnP wasn't a good vape it wouldn't be selling as well as it is. However there are flaws. Proof is the redesigned mouthpiece. If it ain't broke they aren't gonna fix it. I did find earlier in this thread that Engineer did say the base splitting was a production issue and he was going to talk to the mold shop. However it seems the users have to pony up the money to get that fixed. I am sad to say my PnP is going back to the vendor for exchange with another product. I am not mad and I will reconsider a VB product in the future. This is one of the better stealth vapes on the market. Maybe they can come out with a super pro model with metal housing and glass stem.

Peace out. I am going monitor things and hopefully an improved product is in the pipeline.....

Hello fellow pinnacle pro users.

just have a question....can anyone confirm what the ascending lights on the unit mean? They seem to come on after i've been vaping for a few good minutes. Are the ascending lights just indicating that the machine is shutting off after 8 minutes? Or is it some other problem I should be aware about.

Other than that i have not had any other issues...so far.

Yes that's what it does when it's about to shut off after 8 min
