The saga continues...
This thing doesn't leak any air at all.

My AVB is coming out very dark at 2 now (equivalent to 4 before).

Need to use the sipping method with this set up.

All glass all day with my PNP from now on!

BTW, for the DIY people, when you're doing cutting/grinding with your PES Pong or MP, tape off the inside so you don't accidentally take off any material unintentionally.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the O-ring that I am using is Viton. Kalrez is another hi-temp, chemical resistant o-ring material.

The glass spacer is 14mm OD.
I sanded it down approximately 2mm total from the top and bottom to flatten it out.

The O-ring is 14.5mm x 3mm Viton.

I grinded down the Pong shaft to accommodate the total height of the glass and O-ring.

I used the PES screen retaining ridges as reference when grinding down the Pong shaft.

I grinded down to 2mm above the ridges.

The glass stem fits tightly into the O-ring.

The O-ring fits tightly into the PNP.

If you're cool with DIY'ing it, then this hack job will take less than 20 minutes.

It's possible that it could be the best portable vaporizer, but NOT with these plastic PonGs. They made a serious mistake when they decided to go with the plastic without even thinking of offering a glass upgrade..glad they are trying to make things right though.

I think I found the perfect use for the TRVB GonG! It was discovered by accident and without any modifications (yet). Despite what I post and have posted, the TRVB Gong is an excellent addition to the BarnBoy stable! But has anyone tried it with the FMJ? What you will find is that the o-ring will not have any contact with the PNP front wall, causing leaks. Previously I have asked if anyone has tried using E-Juice to alter flavor/smell of herb. Well I happened to spot a place called "Vapor & Stogies", pulled in and got two flavors just to try and experiment.

In these experiments, I had my first bit of luck using the FMJ with the flavored stuff and some reclaim I got from my Steinel and whip long ago. No major clouds with the TRVB GonG, but interesting flavors with something that was rather bland before. This is where I discovered the issue with the TRVB GonG and the FMJ. The Epic Adjust-A-Bowl GonG w/ BB cork-stopper compensated for the FMJ and was the first real WOW factor I have had with the FMJ. I think this is because the Epic GonG screen touches the FMJ and keeps a small air gap space between the GonG and bullet, allowing the FMJ to finally come alive! I now need to find some waxes/oils to test further…

So I decided to try something that has been mentioned by many in the forum; fill a bullet with cotton and re-vape/QWISO/QWET/etc. I don’t think the PNP is really the killer tool for this, but dropping 4-5 drops into the bullet produced some very flavor filled clouds that looked as heavy as any of the ones my “I’m stopping smoking with high nicotine flavored” vapor friends produce. So if you are trying to stop smoking with these flavored oils, you can use a PNP with cotton filled bullet to get your kicks too. This is where I really liked the TRVB GonG. No bits to clog the small opening. And I keep one GonG as the “flavored” one…

I took it one step further in a quest to answer my question, what about herb? My first try was with ABV; nothing much to lose. It gave a “sweet” taste sensation in my mouth the entire session, but the flavor would dissipate after 3-4 draws depending upon how many drops were added. I recommend 2-3 drops and to help get the flavoring to sink in, suck the bullet from the screen end. More drops than this will not increase flavor length, only the possible mess you might have to clean. Is an interesting experience to say the least. Next step was to try it on real herb. Not so sure I like Strawberry flavored herb, but Menthol gives a nice relief to ones allergies or cold congestion.

So now combine all of the above, the story from my previous post and my wife wanting to waste a day looking for a new car (the world’s most painful experience you can ever imagine!). So I flavored a batch of bullets for the day and was able to vape while test driving some very fine automobiles. Sales dudes didn’t flinch. One smoker sales guy asked about all it, and I just told him I was “trying to stop smoking”. Wife said she couldn’t smell herb at all, only the flavor I used (she liked Strawberry and now wants me to get Grape). But she can’t smell my farts. If really worried about smell, re-apply a drop or two mid-session. The point here is I survived the day and am eternally grateful for the PNP Proto1 Car Charger too. The ABV of this process is nearly coal black. I tossed the stuff but will try to remember to take some photos if I do it again.

One hidden point in the photo below, the WT is still relatively clean. Sure it has green bits from the TRVB GonG (I didn’t get to clean it after all), but overall the GonG usage in two weeks hasn’t produced nearly the crud on my WT that was shown here in less than 1 week. PonG spooge???

@Sativape – you are absolutely correct that the o-ring is going to be critical for the @Engineering GonG! The ring really helps get the absolute most out of the PNP and keeps it clean. Since the two GonGs have been in the barn, the consistency of the PNP has been spot on. There were times I was getting so much leakage around the PonG that I thought the PNP had turned off. Suspect I over packed the bullets causing excess restriction => leaks => crap performance. Also love the work you have done to improve your toolz…

The PNP kicks some serious butt folks. And I enjoy the DIY…

Sucks quite bad I'm on my second pong now and its actually cracked already I only use up to setting 3 and my PNP has never been dropped. Looks to have melted I got mine from vapefiend and has been my daily since christmas

Thanks for providing us the feedback on the e juice.
I'm going to look into some non-nicotine type.
I'm glad you noticed the draw with the PES Pong.
Air will take the path of the least resistance.
With the O-ring (and in your case the stopper) in place, you'll be able to really pack down the bullet.
Air will have no option but to go through the bullet.
I can't believe the thick clouds this thing produces.
I'm not even a cloud chaser.
I was able to pack .3 into a bullet.
3 full sessions on 1 and finished off 1/2 a session on 2 and 3.
Nice thick clouds throughout.
Nice Dark ABV.

That PonG is one of the first kinds- the PC one, notice the thin walls on it!
What happens here is that the bullet gets really hot and the screen actually conducts the heat over to the plastic, and the heat radiating off of it when you're not hitting it can over a couple cycles make the plastic brittle enough that it'll break itself.. especially when it's cooling down if it's going from hot to cold fast
But yeah- I'd contact VB and try to get your unit swapped out, it really just looks like the unit itself may just get way too hot- and if you can get an RMA you would likely get one of the glass solutions sent back with it..
Anyway, hope you can keep vaping!

Ah.. yeah that is a predicament.. as for the PC plastic, yeah I've gotten a couple PC parts even when I specified it was the Pro and I needed the thicker walled pieces.. I guess the guy at the shop had no idea what I was on about

The PC versions are noticably thinner walled in the area the screen is at, you can also see through them more easily.. also they have a more bluish tint to them and smell almost like an ABS with a chlorine kind of smell to it. The PES ones are completely odorless IME

I think I just messing around with things Mary Jane related.
Back in the day, I used to mess around with different filter configurations for my spliffs.
I used to mess around with different papers.
Different rolling techniques.

I guess I've evolved since I've said F U to combustion.

But, strangely, I still like rolling up a spliff for the combustors that surround me.
It used to be such a ritual for me.

But now, with the PNP, I find the ritual consists of:
Grinding the bud.
Blending it with kief.
Packing the bullets.
Adding the screens.
Loading the containers.

Is it just me or does anyone else out there still like spinning one up for their buddies?

Just purchased the Pinnacle Pro & have been using it for a week and wanted to report my findings. I like everything about this small vape except the plastic mouth piece which fits somewhat loose. I can see this thing falling off and spilling flowers when transporting it in your pocket. However, I've been in contact with VaporBlunt and apparently they're coming out with a glass replacement mouth piece which they've offered to send me for free if I return the gong that originally came with the Pinnacle Pro. I've shipped the gong back to VB and provided them with the tracking info. so i'll let you know when I receive it and hopefully post a few pictures. Other than that, this tiny vaporizer (slightly longer than the Pax) brings the clouds. I like the bullet loading system much better than the Pax and it only takes a small amount of flowers and one session to get 3 people feeling good. The only other improvements I'd like to see is a better battery life and a metal outer shell similar to the Pax. Not as well made as the Pax (plastic versus metal) but the clouds (using less flowers than the Pax), ease of cleaning and a well thought out glass water attachment make this one of the best truly portable vapes on the market. Just FYI, I've had good luck so far with customer service receiving a reply directly from the VaporBlunt website within 24 hours of each question that I've sent them.

Hey guys hope everyone here has been doing well. I haven't visited the forums for quite some time, but I had noticed that TRVB was working on a glass mouthpiece.
I have purchased three pinnacle pros since christmas, the first I sold to a friend, the second was dropped at a party and I was given money for it. The third I have now, it was my
replacement for the last one. I have been throughly satisfied with the vape. It is an amazing device and almost everyone I have used it with is astounded and says they want to get one themselves.
I was wondering when the new glass PONG would be available for purchase. I think it would be a great addition to an already really good product.
