Ojan just sorted out the registration side of things very quickly indeed, the after service
was excellent to deal with and delighted it has been taken care of.. Thanks again....
Using the raised mouth piece and taking much shorter draw intakes has taking this vape
to a new level for me, previously i was taking longer draws 8 -10 sec, ( i am new to the pax so it took me time to find that sweet spot) shining bright light at the end of the tunnel...
The Iced grapefruit clouds are divine... Look forward to the extracts over the weekend...

I think kief and hashish are the stuff of royalty. Consequently, I've been seeking a way to vape kief/hash with a minimum amount of fiddliness and/or having to resort to the sandwich method. Finally! The Grail! The Pax 3! I have gone through vape after vape like Goldilocks but -now - I use the concentrate oven using the 2 or 3 level and I'm getting wonderful sessions sucking contentedly. Since I have a couple of other go-tos, I may dedicate the Pax 3 to kief/hash. Salud!

and yes, i registered it right away....but it never really confirmed anything, it just added it under my pax account

Hi guys, I received a Pax3 ..... I'm not able to register but, like others mentionned, the issue was before to register the product itself....
Although I'm pretty satisfied how it works and I like how small it is. Start my sessions on level 2 and cash them on 4, battery life is pretty good too!
I noticed my concentrate lid doesn't sit like the 2 others lids but, it looks like it was the same on the Vapecritic review....

I seem to have a bad case of VAS
@PPN my understanding is the concentrate lid doesn't sit flush on purpose. The other lids can be taken out by pressing one side and then lifting it out. Being that the metal insert won't allow the lid to rock out 
it needs to be able to be pulled straight out. Therefore, the lip is needed as something to grip onto.
If you have used a haze v3, could you send me a PM about how the pax 3 concentrate insert compares. Don't want to do a comparison on this thread.
Have you played around with the different heating profiles on the app as well? Now I should try to focus at work.

I feel like no matter what profile or temp i use, i enjoy it.
That should be enough reason to buy one.
BUT, i prefer to start at the lowest w/ the flavor profile due to its quicker heatup time upon lip detection, and end at 400s

Fine grind, tight pack = awesome experience.
Want a smaller load than the included half pack?
Sandwich a screen between the loads, presses it down more.
OR buy the accessory from newvape which i wlil soon...as well as the water adapter mp.
Shatter = dont use
Wax/Crumble/Budder/Sticky yet solid = use! enjoy! it's amazing! killer flavor, hits, and session time.
Vaped some OG 18, Chemdawg, and KKush out of it so far, amzing device.
Glad i didnt get the IQ.

Why no shatter? I am curious what the difference was in your experiences. Not trying to sound rude, genuinely curious.

Interesting my experience yielded the opposite results, i.e. the Shoreline crumble I loaded up did not fare nearly as well as the Lemon Drizzle shatter, but that's just me anyway!

Shatter is too runny, plus imo i prefer the taste of crumble/wax.
Shatter is over hyped, same with that press shit. I'm an old head. Bubble is my fave

I enjoy my pax3 a lot, very nice device for simple sharing with friends. And with the quick heatup time and smaller / sleaker design, it has replaced my Crafty for this purpose. Also experimented with morrocan hash / rosin from hash in it but I can't rave about it, even small chunks of 0.1g bubble up like hell and leak out of the holes of the tray, making it a mess to clean afterwards for very little material spend. Gave up on experimenting more with it for now. Flowers are awesome in it though, love climbing the flavor profile slowly from one bar to three bars most recently.
But I have a problem with my device. Sadly the battery indicator failed to work after a couple of bowls. Sometimes it looses one bar of the four, but most of the time I have four bars shining white after shaking, even after five bowls. Before the end of power the heatup and battery states get that pinkish hue and after 3-4 pulls it out.
The app shows also the false full battery state.
After putting it on the charging dock the first three bars going direct to solid white, only fourth bar is pulsing for 90 minutes.
@Ojan_at_PAX is this a known bug with a simple reset trick or do I have to contact support? As a european, do I contact pax direct or let it handle my retailer? I haven't registered my device online yet, should I do that before sending my unit to anyone?

Don't push hash in the concentrate dish man....cmon think lol.
Just mix it in with a load of flower, ive been doing it for a while now. Works great. Pic a temp and go at it. Bowl will last a while especially with that hash mixed in.
And yes you gotta clean it way more when using hash and concentrates but it performs awesome with all forms besides shatter imo. But i dont like shatter anyways.

Can the finish of the PAX 3 be cleaned with ISO? I've realized most of my accumulated smudges are just bits of kief that have stuck to the finish, so I know ISO would take care of it in a pinch, but not sure if it'll damage the finish coat? Anyone, preferably @Ojan_at_PAX ?
Edit: also checking back after a few weeks of solid use. Still loving my PAX 3, with proper use/care it works as good as any other elite portable (IMHO). I get clouds bigger than the S&B portables and comparable to the Sticky Brick with this thing! Great vape!

I just dont really dig the fact that it is aluminum, id rather have it quartz or ceramic or something. Seems like it wouldnt be hard to do a ceramic one? Idk just a thought.

Very excited for the Pax 3. I haven't purchased a vaporizer in a long time but I noticed this a few days ago and I'm sold, I want the silver version. The only portable for flowers I've tried was the MFLB which is not comparable. Years ago I considered the Pax 1 but reviews scared me off.. this what I've been waiting for.

I don't recommend using an AC charger if it's not ours. For USB, feel free to overshoot the 1A requirement, as PAX will regulate charging on its own.

I might buy one of these this week, they're a very attractive option.
Of course I do still consider the Pax 2 but the fast heat up will be useful and the other upgrades make this appear quite impressive.
I was going to buy a Crafty as a small portable and that would suit my use perfectly but I already have a Mighty that I take out and I hope it would be more fun mixing things up with something like this.
I dislike uncomfortably hot vapor that comes from certain short vapor paths when hitting them for extended time, but I don't really have problems with harshness as such or slightly roasted ABV tastes.
Do you guys think I'll enjoy this intelligent little unit?
Am I crazy to buy something with only weeks to the potential offers of 4/20?
I don't expect to see discounts on Pax 3 but nice offers on Pax 2 or others might come up!
It's hard enough trying to choose which vape, then the color!
Funny enough Pax 2 I'd probably just go for black, and the black Pax 3 might look the most stealth.. but the metal shades really make the most of that shiny finish so I might sacrifice some stealth!
