Also, does anyone know if the battery in the Pax 2 has it's own thermistor to watch the temperature?
I bought a new pax 2 vaporizer in which came in the mail today, I tried it out with some chamomile flowers I ordered as well and I'm kinda disappointed. I got a slight sense of relaxation, but not much. I feel like I'm missing something. I packed the oven snug as people say to and I tried vaping on every heat level, I can barely see any vapor either. What could be the problem
Forgot to mention, when I empty out the oven. There just as much as I put in, it's just darker
I've used all of themWhat heat setting are you using?
I think I've troubleshooted (troubleshot?) your problem.I tried it out with some chamomile flowers
@jondezzy Stu is correct, cannabis will do you way better than camomile in the cloud production gameI think I've troubleshooted (troubleshot?) your problem.
If you want good vapor that tastes divine, you should try using cannabis flowers. They are fabulous!

No, it's all pretty much the same. It depends on the age and moisture of the camomile. But I have never vaped herbs and 'felt' much of anything (except cannabis).
That was in my plans, I will soon. But still isn't it odd that I'm feeling next to nothing with the chamomile, people say it causes sedation and slight euphoria. Is there a difference in normal chamomile flowers and chamomile from tea bags?
Alright, thanks guys.Yes there is a difference i vape various thing's and make my own E-juice tinctures. I would stick with just drinking the tea. The best thing to do is grow your own. I can't even find good enough store bought to vape Catnip anywhere and it's super easy to grow.
Update: this is my own damn fault. I realized that this is due to a small dent from a little drop. The dent is located in the aluminum body where the rubber mouthpiece seats. Since its now smaller than before, the area around the mouthpiece just pushes the mouthpiece out a little. As a result, my nub on the mouthpiece isn't contacting the button. Now, I've started checking the seating of the mouthpiece and if I make sure it's all the way in, it works the first time.I am having this issue as well. Been living in the mountains for a few weeks with no Internet or phone service so I didn't have a chance to talk to support yet. Mine usually recognizes by the 4th or 5th button press, but it consistently doesn't register on the first press, with or without mouthpiece. Also, sometimes a long press to go change the temp just turns it off, since the button doesn't seem to register. So I'll then have to short press to turn back on and long press carefully to get it to register. Hopefully they can fix this issue.
Damn! I've dropped my Pax hella times...sucks to know there COULD be consequences. But still a whole hell of alot sturdier than other more expensive vapes I like/useUpdate: this is my own damn fault. If the lights responded to the cradle, it's docked correctly and when the unit is charged fully, it doesn't turn green...it pulsates white on all four petalsThe Pax 2 just arrived yesterday. Charged it overnight. Petals never turned green; have remained purple all day. It's is the cradle correctly. What's happening?
No problem! Go ahead and try it...let us know what your thoughts are.Oh! The video I watched told me that the petals would turn green. Mine have been lavender, all 4 lit, for two days. Guess I should give it a try then! Sorry for the bother. I've just been waiting for green petals that apparently aren't going to ever show up. Thanks for your help, WakeAndVape.
Green petals will show up but not during charging. When heating up it should go from purple to green & green means Gooooo...Oh! The video I watched told me that the petals would turn green. Someone said that their button wasn't working as intended because they dropped it and it had a dent by the mouthpiece. The dent was causing the mouthpiece to not touch the power button correctly. Have you dropped yours?I have had the Pax 2 for 4 months and am now experiencing an issue reminiscent to the Pax 1, but am unable to figure out how to resolve. It seems the power button can get hard to press over time. I find I have to now remove the mouthpiece to actually turn it on. This is a frustrating issue as I have to actually deal with resin each time I want to vape. It's very little because I am always cleaning it, but it's been getting annoying to use lately. I have already emailed support. and am waiting on their reply............I was heavily active in the thread until I got my Pax 2, but have been so busy have not had a chance to catch up on the thread so sorry that I have not ready through TONS of updates since my last foray in here. Anyone experience this issue and know how to fix?

It is harder to press with the mouthpiece off...ftr.I actually removed the mouth piece and even with it off I noticed that it's not that easy to press anymore. It's almost as if the actual button underneath the X on the rubbery material as moved or is squished and not as elevated as normal.
Ask pax labs if the serial number is authentic. They will be happy to help you, all we can do now is speculateI must be doing something really wrong. I am only getting three, maybe four, draws before my herbs turn brown. I suspect I have unknowingly set the temperature on high by thinking I was turning the unit on or off. Or maybe I'm pulling too hard? I seem to be easily confused by button-bearing vapes. I can't remember what click does what. Must be my age! It seems like each device requires a different way of pulling on it.
Anyway, I'm going through a lot of herbs! I am filling the bowl about 1/2-3/4 full, but the herbs aren't lasting long before they burn. I had the same problem with my Alfa, so I'm thinking I need a remedial tutorial! Other forum members have worked with me on the Alfa, and they concluded by my description & photos that the Alfa might be a knock-off since I got it on ebay. The ebay person told me to keep the Alfa, and I would be receiving a "brand new" Pax2 in exchange. I don't know if I'm, being scammed or not. Maybe I should go back to my glass pipe!
