Ok folks here is my take on the Pax2 after a full week of heavy use, (5 ovens per day, 7 days=35ovens). First off let me say that this is the classiest/sleekest/most comfortable hitting vape I own.
. I was a OG Pax owner but had passed it onto a friend because I didn't care for the high maintenance of the MP and unit itself, as well as the smell it let off even when it was off and taste degradation.
For me, all the issues I had with the OG Pax have been addressed.
. The taste lasts from beginning to end IMHO. I start on 1 petal and run to 4 petals for the finish and no complaints with flavor at all. I even tried to bump it back down to 2 petals from 4 to see what happened and it interestingly enough went back to pumping flavor!
. I fill the oven a little over with SCS grinded material and pack it down hard. No need for a screen on top of the load, it stays put. The battery has been lasting me almost 7 ovens worth which, for a portable, is up there with the INH05s and the Mighty.
. The part I was concerned about (more like fearful of
) was cleaning the unit. I was pleasantly surprised how really simple it was.
I popped off the silicone MP and ran a ISO soaked pipe cleaner down the airpath (which is wider then the OG?
Looks it to me) popped the screen out and was finished wiping the oven clean within a minute!
This vaporizer was well thought out and produced beautifully!
. For a conduction vape it is tops. The flavor rivals the Indica and Ascent, but the form factor and user friendliness has got them beat.
If you can afford the sticker price, It's a must for the serious vaper.
If not, the Summit delivers a very close experience for about half the price.
