It's a UK based company. I asked about EU and was told he is looking into it.....Any european sellers? This looks amazing!
Yes a few@Brenyo have you lined up any Canadian distribution yet? And how much longer? Take my money already damn it! But in all seriousness what is the release date looking like? Can't wait to get my greasy mits on the sense!
Also yes !Any european sellers? This looks amazing!

Yes a few
EOY? End of year???? You made my dance sadSense will probably launch around EOY
Oh cool, hope we have some EU sellers tho, UK isn't part of the EU anymore so I don't buy anything there, taxes are too much. It's a UK based company. I asked about EU and was told he is looking into it.....
That's one hell of a disappointment... 6 months after the supposed release???Sense will probably launch around EOY
Better to wait for quality than have to deal with crap like the Orion IHThat's one hell of a disappointment... 6 months after the supposed release???
You guys need to make some contacts in Ireland (EU) that know how to deal with the UK border (Northern Ireland)It is a shame about the delays, but... better late and right, than early and wrong
Pretty much every UK business that has any reliance on goods, parts etc. from anywhere outside the UK is experiencing problems at the moment. Orders are taking longer, costing more and in some cases... some parts are simply not available any more. I build electronics stuff and in addition to the sheer chaos and disruption that 'b-word' has caused, there's a global shortage of even the most basic of electronic components.
It's all but impossible with some stuff

One Ireland for the Irish. Being victims of England is no joke. Perhaps one day we can all clink pints of Guinness when Northern Ireland can join the 65 other countries that celebrate their independence from England day.Heheh... I'm laughing, it's a good idea
but there's a lot about the situation that's really not funny in the slightest and it still doesn't help with the global parts shortage
Unacceptable... I want it done now and perfect.Hardly surprising for any product to experience this sort of delay for a first release. All part of the process.
That's one hell of a disappointment... 6 months after the supposed release???
Argh, I whish they would have just finished the actual product instead of delaying it for other products that no one asked for and or needs. Maybe this heater is just clickbait for the 1000th Vapcap stem and not coming along at all? Oh well, a stoner company I guess I’m afraid my interest starts to vaporize….
Almost all projects fall behind schedule or budget. But not all projects are hyped like a crowd sourcing scheme that goes nowhere.I remember a time when I would be critical of delays like this, then I tried bringing a relatively simple product to market and had to eat my words - so many times.
The truth is that these things take time, there are always delays, it always takes longer than you imagine.
What should they do, sit around doing nothing while waiting for prototypes to be made? Why not design some cool stuff in the meantime?
Or should they keep this product secret until it is completely ready to go and miss out on the opportunity for feedback from the community while they are developing the product?
This shit is not easy, maybe give these guys a break?
Also, at the risk of being very unpopular, I don't even want to say this or admit it to myself, but... EOY is really not very far away at al
Shortage of silicon chips for NEW high tech stuff like CPUs and GPUs that are already designed and waiting in the manufacturing queue really doesn't have anything to do with a simple IH that will use off the shelf parts that doesn't even have a finalized design yet.we need to remember that there is a massive shortage of electronics at the moment, and this is something that will persist well into 2022, and possibly into 2023.
Almost all projects fall behind schedule or budget. But not all projects are hyped like a crowd sourcing scheme that goes nowhere.
You're just comparing them to the worst case scenario garbage scam companies on Kick Starter etc. . They could have easily said absolutely nothing and surprised us with an amazing product in 2022.I’m a little disappointed by the delay too, but not really surprised and definitely not mad. @kel is right that this stuff takes a lot of time and delays like this are very common.
Yes they were a little too optimistic about the release date, but I haven’t seen any reason to accuse them of intentionally lying about it or trying to string people along. They haven’t even taken pre-orders, right?
Instead of attacking them for the delay, think about how you would have felt if they’d released it a month ago and now all of our cases were cracking, or our batteries were failing, or the temp sensors were way off, etc. At best they would lose a lot of money repairing or replacing them and we would be more wary about buying things from them in the future.
There are a lot of things that can go wrong in designing and building things like this, and although I don’t remember them telling us exactly what the delay was about Brenyo has been pretty open and honest with us so far.
If they were taking orders and saying “it’ll ship next week” month after month I’d be mad too, but in this situation I’m only a little disappointed and not mad at them at all.
I'm not promising anything. I never said I would do one single thing and lied or mislead anybody about anything.Shrugs... not all observers feel the need to attack others, even when they feel let down.
Why jump to conclusions? Why assume the worst? Why put other people down you don't know?
I mean, should we assume the same negative perspective and assume you are a shill for a competitor?
See how it all just turns nasty and horrible?
I've been on the receiving end of this kind of abuse and quite frankly anyone who does this needs to take a long hard look in the mirror and ask themselves where they get off shitting on someone else's hard work, dreams and ambitions like this?
Seriously not cool...
They can take as long as they want but they shouldn't be surprised when peoplke don't buy their stuff due to feeling like they have been deceived. This is pointless...
If you are attacking MAD for a delay, during a pandemic and a global basic electronics component drought... you are just embarrassing yourself.
I have nothing else to say at this point.
