So, seeing how the next generation enail thread seems to be getting flooded daily with new information, finding answers related in specifically to the liger banger v2.0 from cca710.com is getting harder.
Please share all your experiences, tips and tricks here regarding this wonderful piece of kit, or tool as I like to call it.
My own experience.
First impressions where great. I mean, the detail that had gone into this, and the finish it has its simply the best I have seen yet.
I am surprised at how vibrant the colors in these nails come out. I have a fully golden banger and a purple storm cap (there version of the carb cap). This is my 16mm set up. I am also expecting a 20mm vapor bucket, that is interchangeable with the 16mm bucket on the same base of the nail.
I currently only have the quartz insert, but just received an email from Josh (owner of cca710.com, has been really helpful!) saying the SiC dishes are in and will ship asap.
For me the flavor with the quartz is insane. Mind you, I come from using titanium, so people already using quartz with torches might not find this improvement so pronounced. They might actually be turned off by the heated titanium that is in the vapor path. For me, it works great. And I do feel this set up allows one to enjoy a bit of the best of both worlds. It delivers on flavor, but even more, because of it being like inside a little titanium oven, I feel it actually helps with vaporizing better and more then quartz only would do. It seems to hold temperature more, or maybe even the whole bucket with insert is indeed acting as an oven? (Maybe there is even a bit of the same magic going on as with the sublimator?)
What I really like is how the titanium actually is an almost indestructible tool, protecting the quartz inside is belly.
Another thing I really like is how this is being build from the same platform. Meaning, all future updates /improvements will be made on the same base. So one can keep up with the updated easily, never so you need to replace the full nail, only the parts effected during updates.
Some little things are still being tweaked (like the hight of the inserts, so they cannot be destroyed when accidently screwing in the connecting tube too tight) but I am sure they will be worked out in future updates.
So anybody that owns one and wants to share his /her experience? Anybody on the fence of buying one and looking for information from people that already own one?
Let us discuss :-)
Oh.. I am waiting for my laptop to return from the shop, soon as it gets here I will add some pictures.
So much more to say, but I guess the start has been made...
Did I mention they are working on an attachment for dry herb....
Edit: Here are some pictures I found on my cell phone.
