This unit is ALL conduction, it can be compared to the pax only IMO. The firefly is a totally different type of vape than the indica though. Basically its a high quality pax in my opinion without all the hassle of keeping it clean, and it has 5 temp settings instead of 3. The bowls on it last FOREVER though, although the unit does get a little hot when ran at full temp for a full session.
Here's a vid I posted a few months ago to show the Indica's vapor production relative to the Solo. I didn't have my FF when I shot this video, but I'd say I get a little less vapor with the FF, but the taste of the FF beats the other two IMO. YMMV.Any body know how this unit works against the likes of a firefly or solo?

Two days to cross the ocean and six for 400 miles...Scheduled Delivery:Friday, 04/25/2014, By End of Day
That's good news!!!Do you have level 1 soldering skills? If so, you'll be able to replace the batteries no problem. Just not in an officially sanctioned method.
I made my order and it has already shipped.
I can hardly believe it, but tracking says it's already in my country, Spain.
Bad news is that I will have to pay customs... Maybe Indica could switch to USPS for international shipping? Just a suggestion.
$100 to ship it to the UK?!! I was about to go on their site and look into ordering one but that just put me off for sure!I must say, I was quite surprised to see that the cheapest shipping option to the UK was $100, over half the cost of the Indica alone, so I would certainly second looking into alternative international shipping.
With that said, an extortionate vets bill has put paid to me getting one for a few months. Nevertheless I shall purchase one in a few months.
I'm glad to see so many happy customers. Keep up the good work @Indica Vaporizer !
Stu, my serial number is 001691. Do you know if it's a newer or older model? Here's a vid I posted a few months ago to show the Indica's vapor production relative to the Solo. I've tried with and without the screen and don't seem to get any real visual vapor unless its on purple or red.
I like vaping at lower temps, CYEN & BLUE taste amazing but no visual vapor, not even wispy with a 15 second draw on blue.
Then green I get wispy vapor for a few hits only.
Purple & red give me vapor, but I don't like to go to red even on my pax (I smoke my PnP & PAX 0n 1&2 only, start my SOLO at 2, and get crazy vapor) I understand being a conduction type will have less visable vapor, but comparing PAX on low & med to green and purple, PAX has much more vapor.
After the light flashes, the manual says to wait 60 seconds before taking a draw, which I do.
Am I just wasting herb in the oven waiting that extra minute?
I'm not a cloud chaser by any means, but a little vapor confirmation would be nice.
I just got it a few days ago and did the initial 12 hour charge, but when I plugged it in the light went out in about 5 seconds as if it was fully charged. The light flashed 3 times and went out FAST! I mean half a flash then out.
I have another one serial number 001404 That I was charging for a friend and the light was on a good 4-5 hours while charging then it flashed 3 times, stayed lit for a few seconds and went out.
It's just puzzling me.
Should the light go out literally a split second after 3 flashes, or should it flash 3 times stay on a second or 2 and go out?
I love everything about it, I'm just wondering if its user error or a bad battery?
I'm just trying to get the most out of it!
Sorry so long, wanted to get you all the details. And the stem is clean to the oven., no obstructions.
Thanks in advance!
it only does the light flash when charging, not in use.Sorry, I don't have any information about serial numbers / models. If you're curious, I would suggest contacting Indica directly.
Regarding the different temperatures, I think this is going to be a subjective thing for each user to determine their favorite temps. I get visible vapor from all temps except the lowest (cyan). As I mentioned in the video, my favorite temp is Purple (205°C).
I don't think you need to wait 60 seconds after the unit reaches temperature, but your first hit will be thicker if you do. Waiting may cause some vapor to condense inside the device, but I doubt that it would account to very much at the end of the day.
I don't understand the light issue that you're describing. Is it happening during use or charging?
Oh, and I don't use screens in the chamber as it doesn't seem to be necessary, and it's kinda a PITA to get one in there the right way IME.
The Indica is absolutely beautiful!Hello Everyone... i received my unit as well but have not tested it yet dur to an un-wanted T-Break cause i was unemployed looking for work. I am VERY pleased to finally announce that i am back to work and this crappy T-Break will be coming to an end..... TONIGHT!!! i am going to visit a frind to get some awesome flowers for my coming back celebration. when i get home, this will be the first of my units i will be testing and i CANNOT wait!!! Michael from from Indica is an awesome dude and the unit i received is sooooo beautiful!!! i cant wait to come back and report to you how it went. i am sure it will be awesome review.
stay tuned for more!!!!
I'd love to hear some comparisons between this and the PAX, if there are any users with both.
Especially in regards to cleaning, vapor production, battery life, and how it feels to use. Cleaning is supposed to be frequent with the PAX, and I'd love to hear about the Indica.
Thats the main reason i never bought a pax. Looks like ill be getting one of these but i can still wait a few months for a replaceable battery...This unit is ALL conduction, it can be compared to the pax only IMO. Ok, so I dried my herb out and the Indica is workin much better.
On another note, I took a small magnet from a tire gauge, put it on the inside (side) of my lid, and it holds the pick safe and sound inside the lid without worrying about loosing it!

I am a little concerned with @Vape Dr. Experience. I prefer the low temps as well. When i have used the pax, i would use the middle setting, and solo i would use around 4 on an M107... Have others gotten good vapor from the lower settings? Or whatever setting would be comparable to those temperatures above?
